A Summary of Motor Yacht BILMAR

Coming from the Heesen Yachts shipyard in the Netherlands the BILMAR is 44 m 144 (foot) in length. Christened by 2004 her interior decoration illustrates the proficiency emanating from the boards of Frank Laupman/Omega/Veta Tsoukala. Superyacht BILMAR is able to accommodate up to 12 guests with 7 crew members. The former names or project names were 12043. She is able to reach a high speed of 28 knots.

M/Y BILMAR was the first yacht Heesen Yachts launched in 2004. The 144’ (44 meter) yacht is a full aluminum, semi displacement twin screw motor yacht with a flag blue hull. BILMAR follows a series of prize winning custom built yachts by Heesen including Alumercia (which is an explorer ship), Lady Halima, Sweet Doll, Duke Town, No Escape and Koji.

Shipyard Work & Designing for Luxury Yacht BILMAR

Heesen Yachts Design Team was the naval architect involved in the technical vessel composition for BILMAR. Also the company Heesen Yachts Design Team successfully worked on this venture. Interior designer Frank Laupman/Omega/Veta Tsoukala was commissioned for the internal interior styling. In 2004 she was actually launched to celebration in Oss and post sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards delivered to the new owner. Heesen Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. The hull was constructed with aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure is made extensively from aluminium. With a width of 8.5 metres or 27.88 ft BILMAR has fairly large internal space. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.5m (8.2ft) determines the amount of worldwide harbours she can visit, depending on their specific depth at low tide.

The Engineering And The Crusie Speed The M/Y BILMAR is Able To Achieve:

The 16V 4000 M90 engine powering the yacht is produced by MTU. BILMAR is propelled by twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship creates 3645 horse power (or 2720 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The total power for the yacht is accordingly 7400 HP or 5445 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she utilises Koopnautic. The bow thrusters are Hrp.

Offering room for a maximum of 12 welcome guests staying on board, the BILMAR accommodates them comfortably. The boat requires circa 7 expert crewmembers to run.

February 10, 2004 Oss, Holland -- On February 6, Heesen Yachts launched its first yacht for 2004 -- the 144’ (44 meters) M/Y Bilmar. This yacht is a full aluminum, semi displacement twin screw motor yacht with a flag blue hull. It has 2 X MTU 16V4000 M90 engines and will reach 26 knots. The interior was designed by Veta Tsoukala along with the owner of the yacht. The exterior was designed by Omega Architects and the Naval Architecture is by the Heesen Yachts Design Team. Bilmar follows a series of recent prize-winning yachts custom-built by Heesen such as Alumercia (explorer ship), Lady Halima, Sweet Doll, Duke Town, No Escape and Koji. Heesen Yachts presently has eight projects under construction ranging from 123’ (37 meters) to 155’ (47 meters). Three of these projects are being built on spec. Five vessels are contracted. There will be three additional launches in 2004.
