When you’re Magic Johnson, a simple European getaway just won’t do. You have to take in the continent by boat.

The NBA legend and entrepreneur is currently enjoying some time cruising around the Mediterranean onboard the Aquila , a 281-foot superyacht . And the Lakers great and his wife Cookie have invited along a star-studded group of pals, including Samuel L. Jackson and LL Cool J, to join in on the experience.

Magic, who TMZ says likes to spend a month across the Atlantic each summer, has gone all out for his latest vacation. The Aquila is the largest boat built in the US since the 1930s, according to its Burgess charter listing . Originally developed by Derektor in 2010, the vessel sailed under the name Cakewalk until it was sold and completely refitted in 2016. The renewed, four-deck yacht has even more space from which its passengers can gaze upon cities like Corfu, Capri and Cervo, and is perfect for entertaining a one very large man and his family and friends.

The yacht has a massive owner’s suite with a massage room, salon and private deck that overlooks the bow, along with six other spacious guest suites. There’s also a cinema room, gym, two more massage rooms. When it comes time for entertaining, there’s a saloon called the London Bar, a beach club at sea level and a dedicated party deck with its own DJ booth, AV system and smoke machine. The interior’s pièce de résistance, though, is a 36-foot “waterfall” chandelier that stretches from the sun deck to the lower deck.

Other amenities on the Aquila include a limousine tender, a deck jacuzzi, aquapark, trampoline and all the water toys you could ever want (think: jet skis, kayaks and wakeboards). The yacht, which has a 50-foot beam, is also manned by a crew of 28. It’s powered by two 3,306 hp MTU engine and has a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

As you may have guessed, a boat like this doesn’t come cheap. The superyacht is reportedly worth over $150 million . Johnson is only chartering the vessel, but even that will set him back nearly €1 million (or about $1.2 million) a week, according to the listing. One thing is clear: No. 32 loves spending time on the Aquila . In fact, this isn’t his first time he’s rented the vessel. He also took it out on vacation back in 2019, according to TMZ . And honestly, who can blame him?

Former NBA player Magic Johnson is at it again with his annual celeb couples trip. This year, like many others, the couples traveled throughout Europe. Johnson and his longtime wife Cookie have been sightseeing with Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson; judge Greg Mathis and his wife Linda Mathis; as well as Vicki Palmer and her husband John Palmer. Joining the trip most recently is Michael Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto.

“Having a great time over in Europe with our friends!” the NBA hall of famer posted in a caption under a picture of all four couples smiling and posing on the stairs of their chosen mega yacht this time around, called the Phoenix2.

The former Lakers legend and businessman also posted a picture with the couples at dinner. They went to the world famous restaurant Michelangelo in Antibes, France and were hosted by the owner, Mike “Mamo” Mammoliti.

About that aforementioned yacht, the couples cruised around on the luxury mega yacht that can be rented, reportedly, for a whopping $1.2 million a week.

“Cookie and I want to thank Christian from Burgess for setting us up on another spectacular vacation on the beautiful Phoenix 2!” Johnson wrote under a picture of himself on the luxurious boat. 

While celebrating the Fourth of July, the couples continued their summer travels on the yacht. In a video, they can be seen two stepping and clapping to Luther Vandross’s “Never Too Much” next to a buffet and table decorated with red and blue balloons for their 4th of July festivities. 

As expected, the celebs were eating good on the yacht, enjoying custom creations from a chef.

“Our chef Daisy has been cooking so many delicious dishes. Last night she cooked on the upper deck of the Phoenix 2 right in front of us. We had veggie fried rice, chicken fried rice, turkey spring rolls, general Tso’s chicken, black pepper beef, grilled vegetables, sweet and sour prawns, king crab with ginger dressing, Asian slaw, Chinese chicken soup and Lobster, just to name a few. I topped it off with my favorite dessert, banana and peach gelato! What an amazing meal!” Johnson wrote in a caption.

Chef Daisy isn’t the only one preparing gourmet meals–the couples also made a stop in Italy and enjoyed some food there too.

“We had an amazing lunch at Cala di Volpe Barbeque Restaurant in Hotel Cala di Volpe and the fresh sea bass was amazing!” he wrote, mentioning that he also had “to have pizza and pasta for lunch as well.”

While in Italy, they’ve connected with Jordan and his wife, stopping to snap a photo with all the participating pairs.

Last summer, the couples also went to Greece but that trip included other celeb couples such as Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson, as well as LL Cool J and Simone Smith who weren’t present this year.

In 2020 , Johnson’s annual trip also set sail in Italy but only included himself and Cookie, Jackson and his wife LaTanya, and the Palmers.

Inside Magic Johnson’s Six-Week Yacht Voyage: Former NBA Champion Spent a Reported $7.5 Million for the Experience with Family and Friends

Former NBA player Magic Johnson works hard and plays hard. Just a few months before reaching billionaire status, Johnson spent six weeks on a yacht vacation with his wife, Cookie, hosting their friends and family along the way.  

While the voyage was in August, photos of the vacay recently resurfaced. Johnson and his guests stayed aboard the Phoenix 2. The luxury yacht’s charter prices were just under $1.25 million weekly, according to the company website. And for Johnson’s six week journey, it is estimated that he spent $7.5 million.  

Johnson, who has a reported net worth of $1.2 billion, traveled throughout the Mediterranean. Johnson and Cookie began their adventures in Antibes, France, before heading to Italy to visit towns such as Portoffino, Capriccioli, Capri, Positano, Nerano, and Sicily; the Corinth Canal, Mykonos, Oia, Kefalonia, Kalami and Santorini in Greece; and Montenegro before ending the journey in Dubrovnik, Croatia. In total, Johnson was able to visit five countries with 18 members of his inner circle. 

During the trip, Johnson participated in day excursions, staying in San Dominici Palace in Taormina and the Four Seasons hotel in Sicily. And while the nightly charge for these hotel stays were upwards of $1700, it is no comparison to the cost of renting a luxury yacht for six weeks. 

Life on the Yacht 

The seven-cabin yacht includes the primary cabin, which is a split-level apartment. Panoramic views of the ocean coupled with a private terrace are connected by a private stairwell. The yacht’s other cabins are situated on three decks of the ship and are accessible by elevator. 

There’s also three swimming pools, several jacuzzis, a fitness room and wellness center, an indoor and outdoor movie theater, a bar and even a hair salon. 

The yacht also comes ready with a 29-member crew ready to support the needs of guests. 

Johnson’s Experience 

Johnson and Cookie began their journey with some of the former Laker’s celebrity friends. Voyagers included Michael Jordan, Judge Mathis and Samuel L. Jackson and their respective spouses. 

“Tonight we enjoyed an incredible dinner at the world-famous Da Paolino Ristorante aka the lemon tree restaurant in Capri, Italy!” Johnson shared on Instagram.  “AND I got to hang out with my great friend and the greatest basketball player to ever live, Michael Jordan, and his wife Yvette, Sam and LaTanya Jackson, Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, and John and Vicki Palmer.”

Crew members made the journey memorable with food and entertainment related to the Mediterranean. 

On one evening, for instance, Johnson and his guests participated in a masquerade party. While in Greece, they experienced a “Greek God and Goddess Extravaganza.” 

Once Johnson’s friends left, his children and grandchildren joined the trip in Italy. 

”Cookie and I are excited to have our kids Andre, EJ, Elisa, our daughter-in-law Lisa and grandkids Gigi and Avery join us on the yacht!” Johnson posted on Instagram.

Magic Johnson and I met at Morgan State University at the Julius Serving Basketball. He is a great person who made an impact in my life He has worked hard to get where he is for himself and his family. Therefore, it is not in good taste to question the way he spends his money with his friends and family.

Magic and his beautiful wife deserve to vacation with their family and friends and that’s the bottom line. None of know the hard work it took for him to live this way. He’s an amazing philanthropist that empowers others to live their best lives. What he’s done after basketball is as amazing as what he did playing basketball

On Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers legend posted a characteristically goofy yet luxurious video showing the 61-year old lifting weights while on a nifty-looking boat in the Greek Islands:

Johnson, as per annual tradition, has kept his followers extremely up to speed with his travels through the Ionian Sea since arriving, including a swing by the Old Fortress of Corfu (a solid fortress).

The five-time NBA champion and hyper-successful business mogul has dropped serious dimes on his summer excursions, dating back to 2008 , at least. A few notable tidbits:

In 2011, Johnson and his best buddy and frequent travel partner, Samuel L. Jackson — along with their wives, Cookie and LaTanya Richardson Jackson — stopped by Portofino, where Johnson discovered that Italians like basketball, too.

‘I didn't realize Italians love basketball just as much as we do in the US,” he wrote on Facebook. “Almost everyone in Capri lined up to take a picture with me!'

In 2015, Johnson dropped a mere $500,000 per week to sail around the Mediterranean with his son E.J., and Jackson. According to Boat International , Johnson rented the 230-foot motor yacht, Amadeus , owned by French billionaire Bernard Arnault. Amadeus includes a movie theater and driving range and had been previously used by former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and Bono. It was on this trip that Magic began posting above-deck workout videos .

According to TMZ , Johnson rented the yacht for six weeks, totaling $3 million. Must be nice!

The next summer, Magic bought Cookie a 25-carat diamond ring for their 25th anniversary, which they celebrated in style in Monaco after beginning their summertime journey in Venice.

In 2017, Magic elevated his game, chartering 241-foot SIREN at $700,000 per week for a trip through the Mediterranean. (SIREN hilariously lists “download and print daily newspapers” as one of its special features, alongside two movie theaters and a beach club.)

Even more comically, Magic said he pushed back the '17 trip until August in order to go to Lakers Summer League (and not because his birthday and wedding anniversary are in August).

That August, the Johnsons and Jacksons cruised by Sorrento, Italy, and the Isle of Capri — a popular dock for summer super-yachters. While there, the Johnsons dined with Miami Heat owner (and Carnival Cruise chairman) Micky Arison.

From there, the Johnsons hit Ponte Cervo, another hoppin' destination for summer yacht parties. They also checked out Port of Bonifacio and returned to Portofino, which Magic dubbed his “favorite place in the world,” despite being confused on social media as “ lazy migrants ” by some deeply uninformed Italians (disclaimer: I am Italian).

The Johnsons then swooped through the French Riviera to visit some pals in Cannes, Antibes, and Monte Carlo, including Lionel Ritchie, Prince Albert of Monaco, and seven-time Formula 1 champ, Lewis Hamilton . At the end of the trip, he gifted the Amadeus crew with custom Lakers jerseys.

In 2018, Magic was back at it, enjoying the South of France and the Amalfi Coast with the Jacksons. Unlike the former pro athlete, Jackson was having no part of the gym on deck, though he was appropriately amped about Magic's birthday biscuit spread.

In July 2019, a month after Johnson abruptly stepped down as Lakers president, the Hall of Famer made the Leap: dropping $1 million per week to charter Aquila ,  a $150 million 281-foot mega-yacht, for a swing through the Amalfi Coast .  Aquila features a gym, nightclub, and movie theater, and jet skis, which Johnson enjoyed as Rob Pelinka rebuilt the Lakers.

Here he is on Aquila, hosting LL Cool J, ex-NFL QB Rodney Peete, and other friends for a lavish dinner. They also met up with Naomi Campbell , whose yacht was nearby (how fun!).

During one stop on his travels, Magic ran into the one human being in the world with a tattoo of a quote from his self-help book, 32 Ways to Be a Champion in Business : “Some people want it to happen. Some wish it would happen. Others make it happen.” Write that down.

Aquila stopped in Croatia before heading to St. Tropez for Johnson's star-studded 60th birthday bash on Pampelonne Beach. Among the guests: Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez (RIP), Anthony Anderson, Spike Lee, and Pat Riley.

Johnson's trips — which he, E.J., Cookie, and Sam and seemingly every guest thoroughly document on social media — have become a prized invite amongst the elite, including Jimmy Kimmel. In 2018, Jackson joked about not inviting Kimmel due to their “no kid” policy on the boat.

That same year, Magic explained his attachment to his Eurotrips, telling Kimmel that “he loves Italian food and he loves to eat,” — a classic hot take from Magic.

“I want to date my wife for a month,” he added, adorably.

In 2019, Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson told Kimmel that she unsuccessfully lobbied Jackson, her “Captial Marvel” co-star, to invite her onto Johnson's boat, to which Kimmel could relate.

“I've been trying to get myself on that trip for like five years now, and I've never been invited,” Larson revealed. “Me too,” Kimmel said. “I've asked Magic 10 times, I've asked Sam 5 times. They always laugh and there's no follow up.”

That same year, Kimmel implored Johnson for an invite, once again, and, after being denied, began sharing photoshopped images of him and his wife alongside the Johnsons.

In the summer of 2020, the Johnsons wouldn't let a little global pandemic halt their Euro getaway. Instead, the Johnsons hopped back aboard Aquila to set sail around Croatia, docking in Split for a few weeks to visit world-class restaurants and national parks. The locals noticed.

Moral of the story: it's nice to be Magic Johnson. But you already knew that.

Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson are living the good life.

Name a more iconic duo than NBA great Magic Johnson and Marvel movie maven Samuel L. Jackson. The two have been enjoying a long vacation on a yacht in Sardinia, an island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is the second largest island in the sea, right behind Sicily, and it's just big enough to harbor the massive yacht the celebrities are relaxing on. Magic Johnson is renting the yacht at an exorbitant $1 million per week, and they are about to enter week two of the vacation extravaganza.

The two are on summer hiatus after busy starts to their 2023. For Magic Johnson, the Laker legend was looking to make a bid for the NFL team, the Washington Commanders, as part of an investment group. If the deal were to get pushed through, he will be part of the group that owns the franchise for a record-breaking $6.05 billion price tag. Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson is coming off filming for the Marvel TV series Secret Invasion , currently streaming on Disney+.

Magic Johnson & Samuel L. Jackson Soaking Up The Sun

Samuel L. Jackson is also coming off filming the sequel to Marvel's 2019 movie Captain Marvel , aptly named The Marvels. At 74 years old, the man deserves a break, and he's doing exactly that on a yacht in Sardinia. During his time with Magic, Jackson has been receiving acupuncture and cupping treatments to help relieve him of some physical soreness. This is to set him up for more filming, as the prolific actor is under contract for four upcoming features within the next year.

Johnson and Jackson jumped off the mega-yacht for some Italian grub at the Cala di Volpe Hotel. Magic has taken this annual trip for almost a decade straight, renting the "Phoenix2," which measures 296 feet long. The yacht has everything you could ever ask for: an outdoor theater, swimming pool, jacuzzis, and a gym. No word on when -- if ever -- the two of them will disembark the Phoenix2. For now, they're enjoying the time off.

Magic Johnson’s Children Join Him On Yacht Vacation In Europe: ‘Nothing Like Quality Family Time’

Magic Johnson and his wife, Cookie, are enjoying a lavish vacation in the Mediterranean Sea. For the occasion, the couple rented the Lürssen PHOENIX 2, a 295-foot yacht inspired by Art Deco style from 1930s New York.

The couple embarked on the charter boat earlier this month, kicking off their tour across the region. They stopped by several coastal towns, including Antibes in France, as well as Italy’s Portofino, Capri, Positano and Nerano.

Johnson has been sharing updates of his vacation with his fans via social media. On Sunday, the Hall of Famer shared family photographs shot on deck – sharing that his children joined him on the yacht.

“Cookie and I are excited to have our kids Andre, EJ, Elisa, our daughter-in-law Lisa and grandkids Gigi and Avery join us on the yacht!” he captioned a post .

Johnson has been exploring local cuisine and shared snapshots of himself enjoying the region’s fine dining, including freshly caught sea bass, pasta, pizza and Positano lemons.

“It’s nothing like quality family time and Cookie and I are just thrilled that God blessed us with an amazing and awesome family,” he wrote in an Instagram post .

Last week, Johnson invited several familiar faces onto the yacht, which included Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Jackson, Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, John and Vicki Palmer, as well as Yvette and Michael Jordan, whom he referred to as the “greatest basketball player to ever live.”

Some of the couples indulged in a 1970s-themed party onboard. Guests dressed in disco-inspired outfits, which included flared pants, bright patterns and oversized sunglasses.

“The other night, the Phoenix II crew did an amazing job of throwing us a 70s party! We all dressed up and had a blast!!” Johnson shared in an Instagram post .

They renamed the yacht the “soul boat” for the occasion.

Vacation like Magic Johnson: 8 destinations visited on his Med luxury yacht charter

Retired American professional basketball player Earvin "Magic" Johnson is no stranger to the delights of a superyacht charter and this time has returned to the Mediterranean to enjoy the 70 metre motor yacht Amadeus .

The former point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers has been enjoying his trip around the Mediterranean with his wife, Cookie, and several celebrity friends along the way including Samuel L Jackson and Lewis Hamilton.

Here are eight destinations that Magic Johnson has visited during his trip.

Sorrento, Itlay

Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie started their vacation in Sorrento, Italy. The south-eastern Italian town perches on a cliff facing the Bay of Naples on the Sorrentine Peninsula.

Cookie posted this picture of the couple celebrating the start of their vacation on board the spcacious Amadeus. Built in 2007 and refitted in 2014 some of her unqiue features include a cinema on the main deck, sauna, automated golf driving range and a Steinway grand piano.

Capri, Italy

After leaving Sorrento Magic and Cookie Johnson made their way to Capri to celebrate July Fourth on the boat . Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya, as well as Magic's friends John and Vickie Palmer, joined in the party.

The beautiful island of Capri is a superyacht hotspot during the summer months and Capri town offers a host of fantastic restaurants serving some of the world’s best pizza.

While in Capri the group enjoyed a dinner off the yacht with Miami Heat owner Mickey Arison and his wife Madeleine.

Porto Cervo, Sardinia

From Capri the group then cruised across the Tyrrhenian Sea to stylish Porto Cervo. The seaside resort is the centre of activities on the Costa Smeralda and is one of the Mediterranean’s top party destinations . Porto Cervo draws a host of the world’s largest yachts every summer and is also home to the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta.

Bonifacio, Corsica

After Porto Cervo Amadeus headed on to the Port of Bonifacio on the Southern tip of Corsica. Magic and Cookie posted pictures of them arriving while relaxing on Amadeus’ Jacuzzi deck. The marina nestles underneath towering cliffs and is only a short walk up to the town.

Bonifacio is a stunning, almost perfectly preserved, medieval fortified town. The fortress is built on a high rock protected on three sides by limestone cliffs and the sea.

Portofino, Italy

Superyacht Amadeus then cruised along the east-coast of Corsica before traversing back across towards the Italian mainland. Magic and Cookie, as well as the Jacksons and Palmers, spent time in the picturesque town of Portofino.

The group took Amadeus’ tender into the town to enjoy some retail therapy.

On Instagram Magic Johnson said that Portofino was his “favourite place in the world” to go shopping. It is not hard to see why as the small city has a seemingly endless supply of shops along its beautiful waterfront.

Cannes, France

Magic Jackson’s non-stop tour of the Mediterranean then headed on to the delights of the French Riviera. The couple dropped anchor outside Cannes and, as well as doing some more shopping and sightseeing, also managed to watch a firework display from their yacht.

A host of famous faces descend on Cannes every May for the Film Festival and the celebrity yacht parties that run alongside it. However, the resort town maintains its draw throughout the summer by boasting some of the world’s best restaurants and boutique shopping.

Antibes, France

While enjoying his luxury yacht charter in the French Riviera Magic Johnson also visited Antibes. While there he spent time hanging out backstage at Lionel Richie’s concert and even met Prince Albert of Monaco.

Johnson also made time to visit his “favourite restaurant” — Le Michelangelo. The Italian restaurant is described as the “kingdom” of its owner Mamo who meticulously oversees every aspect. The celebrity haunt is famous for its risottos and truffle pizza.

Monaco, France

No trip to the French Riviera is complete without spending some time docked in Port Hercules, Monaco. Monaco is arguably the world’s most famous destination for a luxury yacht charter. During the summer months Port Hercules is the best place to spot celebrities on superyachts and arguably no marina epitomises the yachting lifestyle more.

While in Monaco, Magic and Samuel spent some time with Lewis Hamilton. The Formula One driver is a fan of superyachts and has previous chartered celebrity favourite Axioma .

Magic Johnson Spent More Than $1.25M Per Week On Vacation With Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Jordan, And Judge Mathis

Magic Johnson spent lavishly during a 42-day luxury cruise vacation with actor Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Jordan last summer.

Former Los Angeles Lakers guard and entrepreneur Magic Johnson went on a 42-day vacation with some star-studded friends, and the bill was staggering.

Essentially Sports reports Magic took actor Samuel L. Jackson, former Charlotte Hornets owner and NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, and Judge Greg Mathis on a luxury yacht cruise, visiting France, Italy, Greece, and Montenegro before ending the journey in Croatia. Magic, who officially became a billionaire in October, spent $7.5 million on the six-week vacation with his friends and their spouses and even documented the trip on Instagram .

According to reports, during the vacation, the group participated in day excursions and stayed in San Dominico Palace in Taormina and the Four Seasons Hotel in Sicily. Additionally, the yacht was loaded with three swimming pools, jacuzzis, a fitness room and wellness center, movie theaters, a bar, and even a hair salon. It also had a 29-member crew.

Magic is the fourth professional athlete to reach billionaire status, joining his vacation buddy Jordan, who has been on the list since 2014, golfer Tiger Woods, who just ended his partnership with Nike, and current Los Angeles Laker LeBron James.

Magic is involved in numerous businesses, investing in movie theaters, Starbucks cafes, TGI Friday’s restaurants, TopGolf locations, an esports team, 31 Burger King locations in the southeast, and 13 24-Hour Fitness/Magic Johnson Sport health clubs. The former Laker is also a minority or co-owner of the Los Angeles Sparks WNBA team, Los Angeles Dodgers MLB franchise, LAFC MLS soccer team, and Washington Commanders NFL team.

The Hall of Fame forward played his entire 16-year career with the Lakers, retiring after the 1995-’96 season. The 12-time All-Star has five NBA championships, is a three-time finals MVP, and the three-time season MVP is also a member of the NBA 75th anniversary team .

So, it's no surprise that when he takes a holiday he goes away on a $138m superyacht - that is available to hire for an eye-watering $1m-a-WEEK.

The LA Lakers legend spends his summers enjoying exotic coastlines on board the incredible Aquila.

Johnson, 63, took the vessel on his summer holidays in 2022, where he took in the sights of Greece.

Size matters.

The Aquila is huge.

At 281-feet long, it's the largest yacht to be built in America since the 1930s - and no expense was spared in turning it into a 'party boat'.

After all, the sun deck boasts a spacious jacuzzi, a day bar, as well as a massage room.

But there's also room for a DJ - with a booth, an AV system, smoke machine and light show ready to use - yes, it's a superyacht with its own nightclub.

Up to 12 guests can stay at one time - with the Aquila able to be manned by a 28-strong crew.

From a design aspect, the most surreal and aesthetically pleasing feature of the Aquila is a waterfall chandelier that drops down four levels from the sun deck down to the lower deck - that just adds to the yacht's opulence.

Another cool addition is the outstanding cinema room that features an enormous 85-inch screen.

The master cabin, or as it is known as the 'owner's deck', features his/hers ensuite and a study, as well as a salon.

There are a further six cabins that all offer space and comfort to the highest specification.

On top of that, guests can work out in the Aquila's fully-equipped gym.

FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES

In 2021, Magic was joined by a host of pals, including LL Cool J and Steve Harvey for a trip of a lifetime - a cruise around the Amalfi coast.

Before that, he's been seen visiting jet-set destinations as glam as Corsica, Cannes, Sorrento and Monaco.

Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left without dessert. Very poor service for that price.

Food was tasteful and wine was served at the correct temperature. Duck spring rolls and seafood risotto were great. The balance between pricing and quality is good.

This restaurant-boat is directly in front of the World Trade Centre so convenient for anyone staying in this area. It isn't cheap but my meal was absolutely exquisite and the service quiet and unassuming. English menu on offer but clearly not a touristy place. Every other table was Russian couples and families. Windy night so the boat rocked a fair bit. If you don't mind spending a few roubles, it's a pretty impressive experience. 20% off if you go before 5 pm. Wish I'd known that!

Magic Johnson and his family and friends are having quite the stylish vacation. 

The NBA legend, 63, and his wife, Cookie , have been traveling across Europe in a super yacht with family and friends — and each fabulous photo the pair posts on Instagram reveals a new stylish ensemble.

And over the past few days, both Johnson and his wife shared images from their different stops and events during the vacation – including several of their kids and grandkids. 

A recent series of photos featured a snap of his family, including his Cookie; children, Andre, EJ and Elisa; daughter-in-law Lisa and grandkids Gigi and Avery, who were all wearing various shades of navy, white and black as they posed inside the restaurant.

Cookie’s navy and white checked jumpsuit matched Johnson’s navy and white plaid shorts and navy button-up shirt. EJ wore a figure-fitting white dress with a mock turtleneck and Elisa was gorgeous in a floor-length black silk dress. 

In another post , Johnson shared a photo of his family on the yacht,  including Cookie ; children, Andre, EJ and Elisa; daughter-in-law Lisa and grandkids Gigi and Avery.

“It’s nothing like quality family time and Cookie and I are just thrilled that God blessed us with an amazing and awesome family,” Johnson ended his caption.

In the photo, Cookie was wearing a gold, white and black silk slip dress with black spaghetti straps and black sandals. EJ rocked a white two-piece outfit, featuring a white bra top and black see-through bell-bottom mesh pants. The look was finished with white shell necklaces of varying lengths.  Elisa was elegant in a strapless black silk dress and black sandals.

Another photo from the trip showed Johnson dining alongside friends Michael Jordan , Samuel L. Jackson and Judge Greg Mathis and their wives at Da Paolino Ristorante in Capri, Italy. Cookie wore a gorgeous bright yellow dress with black leather trim detail and paired gold sandals with the outfit. 

Johnson wore a red, green, black and yellow Dolce & Gabbana shirt with black pants and black shoes.

On July 16, Cookie posted a series of killer photos from a themed "Soul Night" on the super yacht. In the photos, Johnson sported a colorful tunic with white pants while Cookie rocked a one-piece, long-sleeve black and white psychedelic jumpsuit complete with bell sleeves and bottoms. They both topped off their outfits with stellar '70s sunglasses.

Don't miss scrolling through the carousel of Instagrams, though, or you won't see Jackson and his wife in their soul outfits. Yes, Mr. Snakes on a Plane himself came on board this yacht with a pair of skintight bell bottoms and absolutely rocked them. And his wife did the same and smashed it.

Before hitting Portofino for dinner, Johnson posted a photo of the stunning couple in perhaps their most coordinated outfit of the trip, The basketball legend wore a Louis Vuitton white T-shirt with "Vuitton" written across the front in dark pink with white pants and shoes and Cookie wore a white and dark pink jacket and skirt ensemble.

On July 5, the Hall of Famer posted a photo from his yacht alongside his friends. In the pic, which featured several couples sitting on the grand staircase of the yacht, the pair perfectly color coordinated their outfits. Cookie wore a white floral sundress featuring orange, green and yellow flowers and Johnson wore a white shirt and pants that matched the florals of his wife's dress wonderfully.
