What a pleasure to work with the Team at Day Yacht Charters. They are relaxed yet professional, great communicators and offer an extensive fleet of yachts. I've been working with them for 4 years now & always been very satisfied, give them a try when you want to find a luxury vessel.

Extremely disappointed with this company. Day Yacht Charters sent me an email to confirm the reservation, and I responded within 2 mins with confirmation. After multiple emails and phone follow-ups, I get a response two days later telling me they chartered the boat to someone else. We are now scrambling to find another boat and have been put in a challenging position. I would completely understand that they chartered the boat if I wasn't responsive, but that's just not the case here. I asked the office to have Susie call me but still have not received a call.

Good day Zac, We understand how you feel, and apologize that you in turn had a bad experience with your booking. We received your inquiry on August 29th and took that day, as well as the next presenting you with several different options. You did address us with many questions and we did our absolute best to answer and accommodate you. Please note, this time of year was also the start of our busiest time of the year for yacht and catamaran rentals. As with much of the world right now, short staffing is also an issue. But I assure you, due diligence was present from both our agents and the owners of several catamarans and yachts to fit your requested criteria. As our policy and procedures clearly state, bookings cannot be secured without a deposit payment. When a reservation email was sent to you, you may have confirmed digitally, but as stated, the booking was not complete unless the required deposit amount was transferred. No deposit was secured, and at that time, you then went on requesting information about another boat. We then sent you the details you requested on the other boat, and you then decided on your original choice that we first presented to you for confirmation. By that time, unfortunately, the particular time slot you originally selected had already been booked. This particular catamaran is one of our most in-demand, popular, and affordable options, especially during the high season in Cabo. After not having secured your booking with a deposit, we then went above and beyond to secure you a different time slot on the same date, and the same catamaran, which you refused. Understand that we are a brokerage, and are contracted with the owners of the boats to rent out the slots of the "OWNERS" choosing. If we do not fulfill our end, we are in turn not fulfilling the owner's end, and we lose business. This circumstance works for no one if we are not following protocol, and is where making a deposit is crucial. Any, and all reservations with the yachts and catamarans can, and will only be secured through minimal deposit standards, period. After all, was said and done, you then called us the next day. Unfortunately, we missed your call due to a high call volume. Missing clientele calls is not something to pride ourselves on, but it does happen from time to time. Placing a one-star review when you yourself had a responsibility that was not met, is a bit unreasonable considering the chain of events that went on during the process. The deposit was not received on any boat of your selection, yet we kept on working with you on different options. In the end, every one put in the time, and no one made out. If you have any further questions or concerns about this matter, we will be more than happy to help you.
