This was the most epic trip. We had a super fun full life aquatic day for the Huntington Beach Airshow with fam and friends. Yachting with Captain Mark felt more like yachting with family. We chartered the Aperitivo for my daughter’s 15th birthday. Mark the Captain made us all feel comfortable and safe. His experience and knowledge of the ocean were very apparent. Everyone had a great time swimming, hanging out on the swim float, and paddleboarding. I had no idea how fast 4 hours could go by. The kids all had a blast and were very grateful of their time on the water. If you’re in the Newport Beach area and want to spend some quality time on a luxury vessel, then book this boat. What an amazing time on our charter with Mark & Shelly. It was absolutely perfect for our Birthday event of 7+ passengers. Fully equipped with all the amenities and luxurious seating. We loved hanging out both on the stern and bow of the boat. All of us had a chance to enjoy swimming at Emerald Bay and a stop at Woodies restaurant. What a day!!! Thank you for the best memory ever!

If you're thinking about renting this boat, DO IT! It's brand new, has a heater, grill, fridge, tv, Wi-Fi, everything... even on a cold day you wouldn't feel it with the heater on. Mark was so amazing we had the best time! Will definitely be back again and again! Thank you mark!!

Captain Mark and his beautiful Sea Ray were top notch! Aperitivo was gorgeous, roomy, immaculate, and extremely comfortable. Captain Mark made me and my entourage of 9 feel right at home. Had an amazing time cruising the harbor and anchoring out at Emerald Bay. Looking forward to hanging with my new friend, Captain Mark, on our next adventure onboard Aperitivo. Fair winds and following seas Captain Mark!

We chartered the Aperitivo for my daughter's 15th birthday. Mark the Captain made us all feel comfortable and safe. His experience and knowledge of the ocean were very apparent. Everyone had a great time swimming, hanging out on the swim float, and paddleboarding. I had no idea how fast 4 hours could go by. The kids all had a blast and were very grateful of their time on the water. If you're in the Newport Beach area and want to spend some quality time on a luxury vessel, then book this boat. You will not be disappointed!

VIVACE Shines at the 2024 Newport Charter Yacht Show

The annual Newport Charter Yacht Show, with its nearly four-decade history, consistently impresses as it graces Newport, Rhode Island’s iconic waterfront. This year’s event showcased 15 luxury motor and sailing yachts, ranging from mid-60 feet to over 100 feet in length. Northrop & Johnson proudly presented the stunning 102’ (31m) Alpha motor yacht VIVACE at the show. This Italian-built Spritz 102 model stands out in the market, offering an unparalleled platform for guest entertainment. VIVACE’s exceptional alfresco areas and an energetic, charter-savvy crew ensured unforgettable onboard experiences filled with fun and adventure. The Newport Charter Yacht Show is a prime opportunity for yachts to demonstrate their capabilities in delivering bespoke charter vacations to prospective charter brokers.

VIVACE was a highlight of the show, earning accolades across several competitions, including Best Overall Tablescape, 2nd Place in the Chef Competition (with Chef Monja Jacobs), 1st Place in the Crew Fender Challenge and 2nd Place in the “Stew Try Outs” Crew Challenge.

In the Chef’s Competition, chefs were given a “mystery basket” of ingredients just 24 hours before presenting to a panel of three judges. Cooking and heating were performed in the yachts’ galleys, but plating, saucing, and garnishing took place on a staging table under time constraints. Chef Monja Jacobs of VIVACE impressed the judges with her “Scallops and Scapes” dish.

VIVACE’s “Coastal Gardens” tablescape won first prize, judged by professionals from Newport Yacht Interiors. Head judge Cheryl DiGennaro praised the crew’s enthusiasm and creativity, noting their effort in sourcing and custom-decoupaging oyster shells. The table’s styling complemented the yacht’s design, creating a welcoming atmosphere for comfortable conversations with personalized details.

Monday evening’s Crew Competitions, a highlight of the social schedule, featured captains and deckhands attempting steward tasks, inflating fenders and making flower arrangements, all timed to simulate the pressures of chartering. A VIVACE crew member excelled in the fender competition, preparing a 5’ fender with an electric pump in just 54.22 seconds.

Caroline Wozniacki and David Lee Sell Their Miami Beach Penthouse for $37M

Caroline Wozniacki and David Lee have sold their luxurious penthouse on the ultraexclusive enclave of Fisher Island in Miami Beach .

The Danish tennis star and former NBA forward had listed the five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom unit in January for $42.5 million. It was sold for a reduced price of $37 million. But, this handsome sum is about double the $18.7 million they paid in 2021. Not too shabby!

The elite island is accessible only to residents, which once included the likes of Oprah Winfrey .

The new owners of this 7,000-square-foot aerie can get there by ferry, yacht, or helicopter.

Gorgeous views of the water and city skyline can be had from the rooms and outdoor spaces, which include a private balcony off the main bedroom, a 5,000-square-foot terrace, and a rooftop pool.

The common areas are grand with oak flooring, marble detailing, and lofty ceilings. Marble graces the kitchen island, and the cook area comes with wine storage and a suite of Gaggenau appliances.

The penthouse includes two parking spaces, a fire pit on the roof, and an outdoor kitchen.

Building residents have access to a fitness center, billiard room, tennis courts, and hiking trails. There’s even a marina.

Wozniacki’s tennis career is long and varied: She’s won 30 titles, including a Grand Slam in 2018 at the Australian Open and, in her prime, she held the world No. 1 ranking for 71 weeks.

The Danish pro has two children with Lee, who was drafted by the New York Knicks in 2005 and was a two-time All-Star before he hung up his sneaks in 2017.
