A yacht is really just a luxury floating home . When you’re talking 70 feet and larger, they’re a lot nicer than my house. As you’ll see in the luxury yacht interiors below, the quality and aesthetics are simply gorgeous. And we merely feature a small handful of such boats. There are thousands and thousands of these worldwide.

Our epic yacht interiors article is split into 5 galleries:  staterooms, guest bedrooms , salons and dinettes, kitchens and bathrooms. Yacht Primary Bedrooms (Staterooms)

We kick off our yacht interiors gallery with the stateroom. When it comes to the primary bedroom on these boats, no expense is spared. They are large, comfortable and stunning in design. These bedrooms are bigger than our primary bedroom.

Yacht Guest Bedrooms (2 Beds)

Many guest bedrooms on a yacht have two beds so that it can accommodate more people. However, they are, as you’ll see below, still very, very luxurious. These are certainly cozy sleeping quarters.

Salon and Dinette Photos

My favorite room on the boat is the salon and/or dinette area. In many cases, the dinette doubles as the living room. Mega yachts have dedicated salons and dining areas. I love these superb lounge designs below in the cabin as well as the upper lounge areas.

I must admit that kitchens on these super yachts are fairly small. I guess the cooking is done by the staff and yacht owners prefer to have more space for bedrooms, deck space and lounge space. That makes sense given there really is limited space. Nevertheless, these kitchens are gorgeous and the yacht designers certainly didn’t skimp with respect to quality.

Most boats dedicate very little space to bathrooms. Not these. The primary bathrooms below are incredible. The smaller bathrooms are guest bathrooms. These luxury yachts are so large and spacious that even the bathrooms are both beautiful and comfortable to use.

See inside 5 secret cabins on luxury yachts where crew members sleep and shower

• Luxury yachts have tiny, tucked-away cabins where crew members sleep.
• Insider went onboard five luxury yachts to see what these cabins were like.
• One crew cabin featured a bunk bed on top of a washing machine.

Sailing and motor yachts, especially those that go on charter, usually have crew to serve the owner or guests.

That means there needs to be space inside the yacht for crew to sleep, relax, wash, and store their belongings.

Insider visited five luxury yachts that feature tucked-away crew cabins. The Princess Y72, worth around $3 million, can accommodate eight people in four cabins. One is an optional crew cabin accessible from the lower deck.

There were two very narrow single beds in the cabin, as well as a private bathroom and storage space. The interior design was similar to the guest cabins.

The tiniest crew quarters I came across were on the Sunseeker 74 Predator yacht. There were three guest cabins on the main deck and a crew cabin on the lower deck.

Crew members access their cabin from the rear deck. The door is easy to miss.

Steep stairs lead down to the teeny crew cabin. The first bunk sits on top of the washing machine.

A second bunk sits under the first. There wasn't much space to move around.

It was pretty dark inside, with the only natural light coming from a small porthole.

Next to the stairs was a slim bathroom with toilet, basin, and shower.

The Princess F65, worth about $3 million, has many luxury features including a barbecue and wet bar, as well as four cabins.

The optional crew cabin was accessible on the right-hand side of the lower deck, opposite the jet skis.

There were two single bunks, wardrobes, and an ensuite bathroom. It was slightly more spacious than the other cabins I saw, although the window was still very small.

The Oyster 595 sailing yacht, which costs nearly $3 million, has a champagne fridge and various gadgets.

It has four cabins, including one optional cabin for crew. This tiny cabin was located in the middle of the yacht next to the stairs up to the main deck.

The bed was very narrow and sat on top of storage cupboards. There was a small porthole next to the bed looking out onto the sea.

This $5 million sailing yacht, the Oyster 885, comes with a bathing platform and sunroof.

The crew cabin, next to the kitchen, was a long, narrow room with two single bunks. There was also storage space.

The captain's cabin was much more impressive, with its wide bed, roomy ensuite bathroom, and wall-mounted TV. Of all the crew quarters I saw, it was by far the most luxurious.

Inside the Secretive Interior of the 351-Foot ‘Lana,’ One of Benetti’s Largest Superyachts

Superyacht owners are often guarded about the interiors of their vessels, just as most of us would be with the interior of our homes. This week, the owner of Lana —one of the largest yachts ever built by the Benetti yard in Italy—allowed images of the 351-footer to go public, courtesy of Imperial Yachts , which was the owner’s representative on the build and now is overseeing the yacht’s charter.

Lana has no shortage of exquisite features, from the hand-sculpted onyx dining table to a winter garden that overlooks the sea. There’s also a large swimming pool, cinema room, a full gym and multiple social spaces, indoors and out.

The vessel’s interior is vast but tasteful. The beach club, in its way, represents the overall elegance of the yacht, with a large salon on the interior that connects to large fold-out terraces on either side, and lounges in the hallway between treatment rooms. A hammam , or Turkish bath, with ornate walls and large marble table, expands the beach club’s spa experience.

The interior is elegant, contemporary and spacious, such as the main dining area with a table for 16.  Imperial Yachts

The ensemble of spacious cabins, comprised of the owner’s suite on the wheelhouse deck and seven VIP staterooms on the main deck, add to the sense of luxury across the yacht. The full-beam master cabin has windows and a terrace on both sides, with pieces of modern art, Art Deco-style light fixtures and stylized wood paneling. The 8’9”-high ceilings add to the suite’s sense of space.

The main deck is defined by dozens of floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around the superstructure, allowing plenty of natural light, while the 50-foot beam fosters the sense of open space. Social areas were critical to the design of this yacht and include everything from the terraces by the pool to a salon up near the wheelhouse, complete with a baby grand piano.

Lana ’s beautiful interior can be experienced as a charter yacht in the Mediterranean, and next winter, in the Indian Ocean. “Lana has an incredible appeal that will make her, for sure, the next decade superyacht charter yacht to experience in her range,” Julia Stewart, Imperial director, said in a statement. “She is bold, unique, sleek and aggressive, mixing perfect experience at sea with unforgettable charter moments.”

Oceanco's 127 metre sailing yacht known as Y721 , rumoured to be Jeff Bezos's in-build superyacht, emerged from the shed for the first time this week. BOAT rounds up the best pictures of the project, which will become the largest sailing yacht in the world when delivered in 2022.

Emerging from the shed

The sailing yacht was glimpsed for the very first time earlier this month after rolling out of the sheds at Oceanco's Zwijndrecht shipyard. The record-breaking black-hulled superyacht is set to feature three masts and a bowsprit.

The scale of the project can be seen in this image against the shipyard workers watching the yacht emerge. While the designers of the project remain a secret, it is known that the yacht is built from aluminium and steel.

Prior to being revealed in October, the hull of the yacht was built in pieces at Oceanco's Zwijnenburg facility before being assembled in Zwijndrecht.

The bow and superstructure of the sailing yacht are clearly seen in this image. While the sale of the yacht was first reported in 2018, no other details about the project have been released until now. The yacht will be the largest yacht ever built at Oceanco.

The striking black shine of the hull is seen from below in this image. A new book published this year appeared to confirm long-standing rumours that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is the owner of this secretive 127-metre sailing yacht. An excerpt of the book, named Amazon Unbound , was published by Bloomberg and describes the superyacht as “one of the finest sailing yachts in existence,” with "several decks" and "three enormous masts."

The teak decks of the superyacht can be seen from above in this image. Amazon Unbound also reported that an accompanying support boat is also under construction, though the details of this remain unknown.
