BIG STORM RC Racing Boat  Brushless Electric Catamaran RTR

This ultimate Catamaran Racing Boat offers high speed, excellent handling and incredible good looks. The vibrant  paint scheme and expertly applied racing decals are sure to turn heads wherever you go! 

A powerful water cooled brushless power system comes pre-installed providing extreme power to the new three bladed stainless steel propelle r. The Brushless 2815 outrunner  motor produces massive amounts of torque powered  by a 60 Amp ESC and two included 7.4V  LiPo 4200 mah 35C batteries to reach speeds above 60 km/h. This allows the boat to get up on the plane almost instantly upon hitting the throttle. The precision machined alloy rudder and pre-installed high torque steering servo makes for quick steering response and helps keeps the boat upright during hard cornering. 

The hull is constructed from lightweight yet durable ABS. The hull has a beautifully painted gloss finish just like fiberglass, yet it's offered at a much lower cost. The decals are applied before the final clear coat, sealing them from the elements and providing a top quality look. The canopy opening comes with a rubber seal to help keep water out of the boat

This new Joysway Boat replaces the US-1 V3 , and delivers the same great performance. It provides a larger hatch and improved internal layout to provide easier access to components and batteries .  It also provides a new Rescue Plastic Rudder which the end user can install when using the boat  in  rougher water , where there is a higher chance the boat may capsize. This plastic rudder will perform as a steering rudder in the water and can be used in combination with the propeller to push the boat back to shore

This boat will be ready to run in about 10 minutes after opening the box thanks to the high level of pre-assembly. You will simply need to bolt on the rudder and propeller, connect the steering linkage, install your batteries and you're ready to go!

I bought the Big Storm from you at the beginning of the summer. Just letting you know it has held up great! I've used it dozens of times and everything is working perfect still. It seems very reliable and durable. Thanks again.

First of all, Dealing with RC Hobbies Outlet was great. I called a few times with questions before I purchased the boat. They were lots of help over the phone and I was even offered an option to upgrade the charger upon purchase. Shipping was way faster than I expected despite using Canada Post. Big Storm showed up ready to run minus a few parts to attach. The User guide is not entirely useful but it's easy to figure out. Speed wise, this boats rips. It can flip at high speed for long runs but I have yet to play with all the trim settings. The hatch isn't completely water tight and the hull may collect water during its run. Despite this, the boat is easy to plug and play. It's fast and its FUN. Would recommend both RC hobbies and Big storm to other RC newbies.
