More than 200 beaches, including a 7 km long well, Plaja de Palma, which starts just outside Palma de Mallorca, the capital, to get up to S'Arenal. It is no coincidence that Mallorca has three nature parks: the Nature Reserve S'Albufereta, the maritime-terrestrial national park of the archipelago of Cabrera, and Sa Dragonera Natural Park.

Es Trenc, Sa Rapita’s 3 km long beach is one of the best beaches in Mallorca with its white sand and clear waters. There are 50 mooring buoys on this island. On July and August, docking permits are given only for 1 night. For June and September, you can receive a permit for 2 nights. For rest of the year, 7-night permits are available. Keep these pointers in mind to avoid any hassle while sailing around Mallorca . An old fortress, Castillo de Cabrera, dating back to 15 th century, lies adjacent to the harbour. Just south of this castle, one will find the anchorages for vessels.

Cala Figuera

Around 60 km south-east of Palma, Cala Figuera is the site of a small traditional fishing community with only 577 permanent residents. It was only around the 19 th century when houses first started to appear in this place. Here, you can visit the wide natural harbour of Porto Colom, where you can spend leisurely time fishing. This small village is popular amongst wine connoisseurs. DO Pla I Llevant wine, which is unique to this town, has been distilled here since the Roman age. Rumours have it that Christopher Columbus was born in this place.
