Wanted to get my phone number so he could "call and explain the process." Said he wanted to market the boat and charge any fees to the buyer.

POP Yachts lists it for $90000. Thats how they make their commission. The difference is pop yachts goes out and takes detailed pics of every single surface of the boat - well over 100 pictures. the buyer will have a much better idea of the boat than my 20 odd CL pictures. They also check the specs and go over them.
Pop Yachts, good/bad reviews?
It was a novel idea but has quickly become a scam. I am a successful yacht broker. My commission is included in the sales price. POP adds 10% onto the price for their commission. As I understand it, from calling on a few of their listings, most have NEVER seen the boat they are representing and have no idea of what it takes to sell a boat.
