The luxurious layout liberates life on board, interpreting the environment and the spaces anew through the different levels offered by the staggered decks. From the stunning Sea View Terrace, to the elegant private patio and the lively beach area just above the sea’s scintillating surface, the Three Decks + One solution is a flexible and deeply enveloping ocean experience.
BREATHTAKING OPEN-AIR BEAUTY
The stage-like Sea View Terrace is born to overlook the marine panorama from a uniquely privileged point of view, suspending spectacularly over the water. At the same time, the superior sundeck makes for a perfectly relaxing sunbathing area, while the upper deck below it boasts the main outdoor dining area. Last but not least, the beach area beautifully and naturally connects the guests with the water and their natural surroundings.
THE PLEASURE OF PRIVACY
Nestled between the Sea View Terrace and the entrance to the salon, the main deck delivers another particularly surprising space: the refined and reserved private patio. An extension of the indoor living ambience as well as a protected outdoor zone, this creative and intimate environment encourages conviviality through easy-going lunching, dining or lounging moments.
ABSOLUTE AESTHETICS
As a detailed continuation of the reinvented spatial integrity on the Grande Trideck, the design-oriented attitude of every element exposes a liquid-like and essentialist soul. Every intervention occurs to remove the superfluous, focusing on a profoundly artisanal identity that enhances the architectural quality of the surroundings and the preciousness of the loose furniture through noble materials and special finishes.
Our advanced toolkit
AZIMUT D2P DISPLACEMENT TO PLANING HULL
The high-efficiency D2P® Displacement-to-Planing hull, combined with the extensive use of carbon fiber, reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 20 to 30%* at both slow and fast cruising speeds. The double chine hull comes to a wave piercer at the bow, minimizing the impact of sea conditions while increasing the waterline length and therefore reducing drag.
* compared to vessels of the same weight and size with a traditional hard-chine hull
Azimut’s pioneering use of carbon fiber lamination goes beyond pure performance. The Carbon-Tech Generation offers expanded volumes on board, while maintaining excellent dynamic stability and perfect handling. Preserving the yacht’s low center of gravity, the carbon fiber was focused on the upper parts of the yacht, lightening the laminated components by up to 30% and reducing the natural roll momentum up to 15%.
A 130kW/h lithium-ion battery pack can support the yacht’s hotel load for up to 4 hours during the day and up to 8 hours at night. Now, it’s possible to enjoy the full superyacht experience without the noise, vibration and emissions of the generators, making daytime activities more pleasant and nighttime relaxation more peaceful.

SEA AXIS Yacht for Sale
Not for sale or charter to U.S. residents while in U.S. waters.
Heesen launched its 125-foot (38.1m) motor yacht SEA AXIS in 1986. An exceptional example of Dutch craftsmanship, this Frank Mulder-designed, pedigreed traditional-style motor yacht boasts clean, classic lines. She has benefitted from multiple refits, updates and upgrades throughout her life. Some of the many upgrades to SEA AXIS over the years include extended decks, completely revamped interior spaces, new paint, generator and engine overhauls, new stainless throughout, new carpeting, lighting, watermakers, hot water heaters, updated AV equipment, a rebuilt sundeck with a new bar, Jacuzzi and outdoor cinema, the constant maintenance and servicing of various systems and more. The yacht also completed a five-year ABS survey. Her condition is immaculate, as the owner employs an excellent crew.
The interior spaces of SEA AXIS are pristine. The yacht’s main salon is outfitted with rich woods, stunning white furnishings and bold accent pieces that create a cohesive and comfortable space with a welcoming atmosphere. The main deck layout provides abundant space and a natural flow that is ideally suited for entertaining. The skylounge aboard SEA AXIS will provide guests with incredible views. Here, guests will enjoy an entertainment area and an office space. Teak flooring and large doors that open to the bridge deck aft blur the lines between indoor and alfresco living.
Five sumptuous staterooms welcome up to 12 guests aboard SEA AXIS. The yacht features a main-deck master stateroom with a king-size bed and a beautifully styled en-suite bathroom with teak floors, granite stonework and a his-and-hers floor-to-ceiling glass shower. Two VIP staterooms and one twin stateroom with a Pullman are located amidship in the lower deck. A private staircase aft in the main salon accesses the additional twin stateroom. All guest accommodations feature en-suite bathrooms with the same exceptional finishings as the master. SEA AXIS has the ability to carry eight crew.
The on-deck areas of SEA AXIS are truly inspiring. The yacht’s main-deck aft extension allows for more space to include a shaded alfresco dining table for 12. SEA AXIS has full walk-around decks, ensuring both guests and crew can easily move about the yacht. From the main deck, a stainless spiral staircase allows guests to access the expanded bridge deck, which houses a large crane and tender, but when the tender is deployed, the space can be used for lounging in the sun or entertaining. The sundeck of SEA AXIS is truly a favorite space for all who come aboard. It offers both sunny and shaded spaces, abundant seating, a massive wet bar, a Jacuzzi surrounded by large sunpads and 360-degree views. In the evenings, the sundeck can be transformed into an onboard cinema for an alfresco movie viewing experience unlike any other.
- Charter program in place has generated over $1,300,000 in gross revenues since December 2020
- Significant refit under current owner
- Crew potential for eight with captain’s quarters on bridge deck
- Accommodations for 12 include an on-deck master and four additional lower cabins

Westport Launches Hull No. 9 of the 125
- By Yachting Staff
- November 21, 2023
In early November, Westport Yachts in Washington State launched the ninth hull of its Westport 125 series.
The model has continued to prove popular since Hull No. 1 launched in 2016, marking the first new model in a decade for the builder that had long been known for the Westport 112 and Westport 130 . More than 100 of those two models have been built.
When the 125 first appeared, Westport said it drew on popular features from the 112 and 130 models, giving owners a way to move up to a bigger yacht from the 112 without having to go all the way to the size of the 130. Like the 112, the 125 has a raised pilothouse (as opposed to the 130’s trideck design).
“The launch of the enhanced Westport 125 is a significant milestone for Westport Yachts, and it exemplifies their unwavering commitment to excellence in the luxury yachting industry,” the company announced in a press release. “The yacht will now undergo final outfitting and sea trials before being delivered to her excited owner.”
What are the accommodations aboard the Westport 125? The yacht has staterooms for 10 guests as well as quarters for five or six crew.

Having already mastered the multihull, Sunreef Yachts is diving headfirst into a new challenge. The Polish yard is offering a new type of “ explorer catamaran ” that’s able to sail with an extended range in even the most extreme waters.
The 40M Sunreef Explorer , which is just a concept at this stage, features carbon composite construction and a sleek silhouette that has become synonymous with the Sunreef fleet. The yard says the versatile 125-footer is “dedicated to discovering new horizons” and will pack enough propulsion to give her transoceanic range, as well as “solid performance in rough seas.”
What’s more, she’ll get you to the ends of the earth in luxury. The sizable vessel offers just over 7,000-square-feet of living space thanks to her 44-foot beam. Accommodation is spread across three decks and the flowing layout encourages indoor-outdoor living.
Sunreef Yachts
The cat’s centerpiece is an expansive bow terrace that resembles a sophisticated open-air lounge. This space will feature an inviting spa pool, oversized sun pads and a well-stocked bar. Elsewhere, the extended aft deck is fitted with a launching crane, along with enough stowage for a 23-foot tender, two jet skis and a haul of water toys. When the tender is at sea, a hydraulic aft platform can be lowered to water level and seafarers can enjoy a full-beam “private beach” (a.k.a. swim platform).
Of course, the 40M Sunreef Explorer can also be tweaked to meet her owner’s desires. Custom features available for the concept currently include a steam room, a playroom with a self-leveling pool table or a private fold-out balcony off the master suite.
The ambitious design is now the second-largest vessel in the Sunreef family. First place belongs to the 161-foot 49M Sunreef Power , while third place goes to the custom 110-foot Sunreef Power that will be delivered in 2021. The yard has not yet given specifics regarding engine configuration or range, except that she has the range of a bona fide explorer. We can’t wait to see her in action.

OYSTER 125 FLYBRIDGE YACHT
What we say.
Flybridge sailing yachts are a relatively new concept and, until the introduction of the Oyster 125 Flybridge by Dubois, were to be found only on 48m (160 ft) yachts and above.
The Dubois design office already has a number of flybridge yachts on the water, including Tiara at 54.3m (178ft) and Kokomo at 51.7m (169ft).
With this experience, the Dubois team has been able to finesse the design of the Oyster 125 Flybridge to capture all the benefits of this concept and match them within a well-balanced, good-looking profile. This flybridge uses the same superstructure as the Raised Saloon but also offers an upper flybridge with twin helms, lounge, wet bar and sunbathing area.
At 155,000 kilos (155 tonnes) lightship displacement, the Oyster 125 is a very substantial superyacht, offering a stunning performance in absolute comfort.

With an impressive five years of dedicated service aboard Sea Axis, Bryan has become an integral part of the crew, ensuring every voyage is a memorable experience.

Bryan's educational journey led him to Lynn University, where he pursued sports management. His maritime qualifications include a 350 GT and 500 Marshall Islands license, showcasing his commitment to professionalism and safety in the yachting industry.

Born in Bloomington, Illinois, Bryan spent his childhood in Southern California before returning to Illinois for his formative years. Growing up with a younger sister, Bryan's upbringing was marked by outdoor activities, particularly on the golf course. Although he excelled in basketball and baseball during his youth, golf became his focus in high school. Bryan's love for the outdoors extends to hiking, climbing, and relishing the thrill of discovering new places.

In addition to his maritime accomplishments, Bryan received the "Fastest Fender Blow Up and Cover Award" at the Newport Boat Show, demonstrating his skills and expertise in yacht competitions.

Bryan's yachting journey began a decade ago, marking a transition from a construction background. Encouraged by a chief stew he was dating, Bryan embraced the industry, starting on M/Y Distraction, then moving to M/Y Charisma, and ultimately joining M/Y Sea Axis.

With a diverse professional history, including three years in wine retail, hotel valet management, and construction, Bryan brings a wealth of experience to his role as Sea Axis's Captain. His present duties involve meticulous trip planning, managing itineraries, overseeing daily tasks on board, and preparing necessary paperwork.

Bryan's cruising destinations span the Bahamas, Caribbean, and the East Coast of the United States. His primary focus is ensuring both the crew and guests experience the utmost satisfaction during their voyages. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.">Price Terms: Plus Expenses
