Overall rating

Absolutely one of the nicest facilities around. Great dock hands, docks and amenities. Plenty of water at all tides. Nice pool and spotless restrooms. Barnegat Light also had a lot to offer with nice restaurants and of course the lighthouse.

While we do not actively seek new members, we are always receptive to one of our seasoned members recommending a friend or relative join our organization. Bar Harbor is a working persons club and members are expected to abide by the rules and pitch in and help with Club projects.

2 EF-1 Tornadoes Touched Down In Ocean County, New Jersey, National Weather Service Confirms

July 30, 2021 / 3:34 PM EDT / CBS Philadelphia

LONG BEACH ISLAND, N.J. (CBS) - The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes touched down in Ocean County, New Jersey on Thursday. The NWS says the tornadoes touched down in the Waretown and Cedar Bridge area in Barnegat Township.

Both were rated EF-1 with winds of 100-105 mph.

Thursday's storms left damage on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Crews were cleaning debris out of a pool at High Bar Harbor Yacht Club on Barnegat Bay on Friday.

Chopper 3 also spotted nearby buildings with roofs torn off.

At least one small boat was found between houses.

I have decided to keep my boat out of the water this summer to complete some long over due maintenance and repairs. The slip is 60 ft and located at the High Bar Harbor Yacht Club on Long Beach Island in Barnegat light. Docks are all floating with power, water, cable and pump out provided by the staff. Slip rental comes with complete use of all the yacht clubs benefits which include use of the club house, pool, private individual bathrooms with showers, complete full kitchen and lounge. Slip is D-8 and this dock is located second from the last overlooking the bay and the Barnegat Lighthouse with the Barnegat Inlet in view. Our charming, comfortable, lagoon front “Sea Glass” cottage has plenty of beds and a pool for you to enjoy. Walk to How You Brewin’ for coffee, then trip over to Viking Village for some boutique shopping. Finish with a stop at Off The Hook for tacos made from fish fresh off the boat. Prefer to catch your own? We are one turn from the bay for clamming, crabbing, or whatever else you want to get into. If you are a beach baby, a short bike (or car) ride will get you there. We have 8 badges at the house for your use. What else can you do? Charter a boat or fish off a head boat on 18th street. Play mini golf at Jenn's Links. Say hello to Jack if he's working - he makes a great sausage pizza btw. Got a little hangover? Head to Mustache Bill's for a classic jersey diner breakfast experience (as featured in Diners, Drive-ins and Dives). This rental lets you enjoy it all. We love this area and can offer suggestions to help you make the most of your stay. Keep your eyes out for Diamondback Turtles on the way as there are 2 protected nesting areas on the way to the beach maintained by the Terrapin Nesting Project. We had a wonderful stay here over the 4th of July. The home has two nice bedrooms on the first floor and a large loft like area upstairs with several beds. The home is older and weathered in a few spots but very nicely maintained by new owners. Old LBI at its best. Pool is great and it is right on the canal for bay swimming and kayaking. Well stocked all around - kitchen, pool floats,bikes, umbrellas, chairs etc.
