Whatever Happened To Adam Glick From Below Deck?
Chef Adam Glick had quite the stint on Bravo's "Below Deck Mediterranean," coming full circle from being one of the most hated cast members to a fan favorite. Glick joined the cast in Season 2 after Ben Robinson departed the series after Season 1 and ran the galley by his rules. He definitely didn't abide by the primary's preference sheet, which was often an issue with the guests — onions, anyone? He went toe-to-toe with Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier at first, but the two eventually became friendly in Season 3. Perhaps his biggest rival was Bosun Wes Walton, due to their love triangle mess with deckhand Malia White.
After leaving the "Below Deck Mediterranean" family after Season 3, it looked like we might not see the chef again, but he surprised everyone by appearing on a spin-off. "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" debuted in 2020 with Glick back in the galley, and he found himself in yet another reality television relationship with Chief Stew Jenna MacGillivray. Unfortunately, that pairing didn't work out either, and Glick has yet to appear on Bravo again. The chef appears to be happier than ever and has been doing well back on land since he left the network.
Adam Glick is still living the chef life off Below Deck
Since leaving Bravo, Adam Glick has his hands full with an array of different adventures. Fans of the chef can follow him on Instagram , where he posts adventures from his travels with his dog, which has made for quite the aesthetically pleasing timeline. According to his website , Glick hosts a cooking show on OutsideTV titled "Stoked," which features athletes and famous outdoorsmen/women. He also has two series in production, based around his Adventure Chef brand — a nickname he has given himself. The chef also partnered with Messermeister and released a six-piece knife kit which is available for a pretty penny.
Additionally, Glick has joined the world of charity and works with A Walk on Water, which provides surf therapy to children. "My first day helping to teach these kids how to surf in Malibu, CA, I was hooked, inspired, and relieved," Glick noted. "I'm starting to think the surf therapy is actually for the adults and surf instructors. The smile on these kids faces is priceless and makes you feel amazing inside." He also frequently offers private dining sessions at auction and donates the proceeds to different charities.

Below Deck ’s Adam Glick Hopes ‘Third Time’s the Charm’ for Sailing Yacht
Adam Glick likes an adventure. It’s why he chooses to live out of a van traversing the West, surfing and snowmobiling to his heart’s content, and it’s what got the yacht chef into sailing in the first place, on a 9,000-mile surfing trek across the Pacific Ocean. “There I was, cooking lamb chops 3,000 miles from anything,” he says. “You sit back for a second and think to yourself, Goddamn, I’ve got the coolest job on the planet .”
It’s also what brought him back for another round of Below Deck after the highs and lows of his two seasons as chef on Below Deck: Mediterranean . This time, he’s chef on a 180-foot sailing yacht in Greece, as a crew member on the first season of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht , which premiered last night. Not only does he have one of the hardest jobs on a sailboat (to be fair, being on a sailboat doesn’t make anyone’s job easier), he also has one of the hardest on the show, still having to prove to some viewers that he can follow a preference sheet and get along with a crew.
After leaving Below Deck: Mediterranean , what pulled you back to Below Deck: Sailing Yacht ? I think everyone enjoys a little adventure every now and then. To be candid with you, when Bravo calls you up and says, “Hey, you wanna do another series?,” you say yes. That’s the reality of the situation. But after traveling around for such a long time, I thought it would be a good little option to cruise out to Greece for six weeks, and [then] I could get back to my road trip.
So how does one cook on a sailboat? When you’re under sail, it’s a challenge to get around. And from the chef’s perspective, it’s particularly difficult because I’m trying to handle objects that are not intended to be stood up, ever — that is not ideal when you’re on a 30-degree lean for hours straight. And then let’s talk about when the captain doesn’t tell you he’s gonna switch over to the other side, and all your shit that was formerly pushed into a corner on the right has now slid its way to the left and you’ve got a disaster on your hands.
Another role is the size. A sailboat is inherently half the size of a super-yacht. You lose square footage because you’ve got to add that lean, sleek line in order to sail. And in order to do that, you lose deck. Now you’ve got stewards working in small spaces; the chef and the steward are gonna have to work in the tightest of space because she’s not gonna have her own stew pantry, most likely. It’s not stabilized, there’s no stabilizers, so when you’re at anchor, you just are out there rocking and rolling.
On Med , you had this up-and-down relationship with Captain Sandy. I know Captain Glenn says he’s a very hands-on captain, involved. What was it like for you to come onto a boat like that? When I first met Glenn, I found him to be a bit of a softie. Not that kind of hard-ass “I’m the captain.” I’m just like, Okay, this kind of seems cool . Captain Sandy was a true micromanager compared to Glenn. I think you’ll find that I didn’t have to worry about him looking over my shoulder.
It also seems like you’re getting along with Jenna, the chief stew, as well. What was that dynamic like in the beginning? Any time you meet someone on a boat, in general you just have to take it day by day. That was exactly how I approached meeting Jenna — and everyone on the crew, for that matter. But definitely, she seemed like a pretty cool woman. I look at my work to be the most important thing, and if anything else came along, I might entertain the idea, but first and foremost came providing for my clients.
You’re talking about wanting to focus on the food — was that the main change you wanted to make going into this season, or were there others as well? There’s only so much you can change about the way a show comes together and the way you presented yourself during the course of those six weeks. I felt [season two] of Below Deck: Med was rough — I learned the ropes the hard way, and it wasn’t particularly fun, particularly for a seasoned yacht chef who thought he knew what he was doing after 10 years. Coming back [on season three], I felt I did really well. I didn’t have any issues with the crew, and it was really more about making sure the food was great for the guests. And I proved I was capable of doing that. So coming back, third time’s the charm. There’s always gonna be hiccups, no matter what, but I would say for the most part, the food was great.
What do you think you learned from this season, as someone who has been a yacht chef for so long? When you’re working, you’ve got to remember to just work. That’s the most important thing. I do a pretty darn good job of that this season, considering how many other situations I get myself into. [ Laughs ]
I have to ask: Did you watch the last season of Below Deck: Med ? Yeah, I haven’t seen everything, but I got the gist of it.
What was your take on all the chef drama ? From what I can tell, they’ve had some trouble finding a decent chef on Sandy’s boat — well, and Lee’s boat , so I guess the whole franchise is missing a decent chef at the moment.
Maybe you can be that! On Below Deck: Med you’ve flat-out said, “I know I can be a dick,” basically. Yeah.
Do you think you’re still a dick? I think personality traits don’t just disappear. We’re always gonna have that. I think what I didn’t say was that I also have a pretty tender side, and I can be pretty emotional as well — just rounding out the human personality. I can be a dick when I haven’t slept in 40 days and I’ve got guests yelling down my throat about something I’ve poured my heart and soul into. When that’s not the case, I can be a completely different person.
I do think you bring a sort of wisdom to the show, almost like someone to talk people down or be there to sober up the situation. I feel like having the galley as a place for people to come where they know they can vent a little bit or talk about what’s frustrating them elsewhere, it’s just a very commonplace thing. It’s your kitchen at home: People come, and they talk shit. And that’s basically the exact same thing. It just happens on a boat, and it’s filmed.

Chef Adam Was on TV Long Before His 'Below Deck' Days
Jun. 5 2020, Updated 1:09 p.m. ET
The latest spinoff of Below Deck , called Sailing Yacht , is not for the faint of heart. This new series takes us aboard Parsifal III, a luxury sailing yacht kind of like the ones we're used to on Below Deck and Below Deck Med , except everyone on board now has the added challenge of constantly being at the whim of the wind.
Per the spinoff's official description, "the crew's already difficult job gets tougher" when the sails go up, "as they must contend with maneuvering the sails in high winds and adapting to the steep tilt of the boat, all while troubleshooting the needs of the guests and any issues that may arise."
While everyone's jobs might be a bit more labor-intensive than we're used to seeing on the successful Bravo franchise, no one ever has it harder than the yacht's chef.
This time around, Chef Adam Glick, a familiar face from Captain Sandy's Below Deck Med seasons in Croatia and Italy, is cooking aboard the sailing yacht. Keep reading for everything you need to know.
Chef Adam has been all over the country since his time on 'Below Deck Med'.
"Between my time off from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht , I've been able to travel all over the United States," Chef Adam tells The Daily Dish . "I drove across the country five times. I've just been cooking outdoors over a campfire, really kind of dialing in what makes me happy as a chef."
"So coming back this year, I feel refreshed, I feel like my food's on point, and I feel like I'm ready to go," the chef continued. "It's gonna be a great season."
Adam has been a chef on yachts for over 10 years now, but began his education at a four-year university in California and instead pursued a career in culinary arts at The Art Institute of California in San Diego. According to his website , Adam finished with a degree in Culinary Management.

'Below Deck' isn't even his first time on TV! Here's where you've seen him before.
First of all, we have to urge you to follow Chef Adam on Instagram . When he's not cooking for wealthy yacht guests, he photographs the trips he takes with his dog Tex around the country, and let's just say the 35-year-old knows his way around a camera.
But we were excited to learn that before becoming the chef we know and love on Bravo, Adam also competed on a Food Network show, Cutthroat Kitchen , back in 2013. "Chef Glick gets it. Period," reads his Food Network bio. "He understands the hard work and dedication that goes into growing and bringing fresh products to market, which is why he treats each fresh ingredient on his cutting board with respect, allowing it to speak for itself from a flavor and color perspective in any given dish."
"In fact, while he's at sea, Chef Glick is proficient at catching and foraging for the ingredients that he uses to make the next meal on-board," it continues.
While we haven't quite seen much of his foraging side, we'd welcome the opportunity to watch him fish on Sailing Yacht !
New episodes air Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Here’s What the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Currently Up to Now
Are Jenna and Adam still together?
From a spontaneous proposal failing spectacularly to a joke about being breastfed as an adult, Sailing Yacht was as much a dramatic success as the other franchises. It also left fans wondering about what's happening to the crew since the show wrapped. Did chief stew Jenna and chef Adam stay together? What's going on with Georgia's music? And most important—is Captain Glenn really as cool as we think he is?
Here's what the cast of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is up to now:
Jenna MacGillivray
When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.
These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.
Madison Stalker
Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.
Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).
Georgia Grobler
As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.
While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.
Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.
Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.
Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan
If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.
These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.
Byron Hissey
As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.
Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.
Parker McCown
Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.
It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.
Chris Miller
As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.
These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.
Captain Glenn Sheppard
Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.
Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.
Adrianna Freedman writes all things TV and film for Cosmo . When not binge-watching the latest series on Netflix, she is busy singing along to her favorite artists/showtunes, consuming too many coffees a day and dreaming about penning her next big story.

A new Below Deck series is upon us! And that means a whole new Below Deck crew, too. Well, mostly. Viewers will recognize a familiar face in Below Deck Sailing Yacht ‘ s galley, the one and only Chef Adam Glick who spent two seasons on Below Deck Mediterranean . New to the franchise but already making her mark is chief stew Jenna MacGillivray, and Decider caught up with them for lunch at Felice 56 in New York City today to discuss what’s ahead for the new franchise .
Adam and Jenna dish on their fellow crew members, their new captain, and all the adventures ahead on the new series.
Decider: Yay, new franchise!
Adam Glick: Yeah, needed to happen. Fill out the whole year [with Below Deck shows].
How was it being part of a new franchise for you?
AG: It was great, absolutely epic. First of all, having the opportunity to be able to come back. I think this particular franchise is gonna blow the other ones out of the water, no pun intended. Full pun intended. Honestly, we are cooler. Everything we’re doing is more badass, it’s harder, it’s more difficult, it’s more challenging. The guests are the same, the level of working is the same, the preferences are the same, the bitchiness, it’s all there. Only it’s like an addition onto what you’ve already seen. Anything that you thought was dramatic and badass before, it’s that on crack.
Jenna, how was the experience for you, was it what you thought it would be?
Jenna MacGillivray: Yeah, I think it exceeded my expectations in terms of the crew. So many of the crew I really got along well with. The captain was great and overall it’s pretty similar to the boats that I’ve worked on before, so I was happy to go back to that. I had just been on a motor yacht and going back to a sailing yacht was great.
Captain Glenn said some very nice things about both of you when I talked to him. Do you guys feel the same, do you like him too?
JM: Oh yeah, love him.
AG: Yeah we love Glenn.
He seems very laid back, especially compared to some of the others.
JM: Yeah, he’s super laid back. But he knows when to get stern, and he’s very safe as a captain but he’s also really lighthearted. And that’s kind of a sailboat mentality, right? You’re still manning a boat that could kill you so you’re serious when the time’s needed, but when not, he’s happy and good.
We see in the first episode that the rest of the boat was a little bit of a shitshow, was the galley a mess too?
AG: Oh yeah, it was a fucking disaster. Like really, really bad.
Did you take a day to get it together?
AG: Oh yeah. I mean, you’re still cleaning days after. You’re like, ‘Ah, still haven’t done the oven.’ There’s so much you have to do and eventually you’re like, ‘Well, I’ll finish this charter, then I’ll do that. And I’ll finish this charter then I’ll do that. And we’re gonna go a whole charter without this today.’ [Pointing to Jenna] She has the same problems, and everyone does, the deck has the same problem. This is such a tight, tight, tight schedule.
We see in the trailer a little bit, there are items flying all over the place: did you get hurt at all?
AG: No, no major injuries.
JM: No, I bashed my leg a couple times but I’m just clumsy.
AG: Let’s just say that the odds of getting hurt are substantially higher. I’ve got knives flying around, I’ve got shit flying around, it could be really dangerous.
JM: There’s more of a sport aspect to it.
AG: Yeah, there’s a moment of sport where you’re pulling lines and this thing’s happening; that doesn’t happen on any of the Below Deck s. It’s just all drama the whole time. Now there’s actually a sport moment, like, ‘Oh this is badass.”
Jenna, the way you introduce yourself to the stews is by saying you don’t want to intimidate and you don’t think that you’re a bitch. Did that change at all over the course of the season in having to manage them?
JM: I never want to intimidate anyone or make them feel bad but I have a certain threshold that can be broken and I felt like that was broken a number of times. I have a job to do and my primary focus at all times is the guests’ satisfaction. So if that’s being met and the guests are happy, I’m happy. And sometimes that comes at the expense of somebody’s feelings and that’s okay. If you have an issue with it I’m always happy to talk about it, but I think my issue is that sometimes during the season, people will prefer to talk behind my back rather than confront me about it. I lose respect for somebody in that. I am a good communicator, I like talking rationally, so if somebody can’t speak to me I feel like that’s on them instead of me.

You do have an epic moment in the trailer where you seem to be in a hot tub and you’re just pouring wine in your mouth.
AG: The finished look at the camera, she like growled at the camera.
That’s a meme waiting to happen.
JM: I know, I want them to meme me. But I will say that I like doing little schticks when I’m drunk or not drunk, so that was me playing. But from the trailer I did look pretty drunk. I’m gonna have to see how drunk I actually was.
Adam, was there anything you swore to yourself that you would do differently this time?
AG: Yeah, a million things.
And did you do them differently?
AG: No, I never do. I think I’ve learned my lesson. No regrets. You do what you do normally and just kind of hope for the best, honestly. No one’s perfect and we all have faults and we all do things but guess what, none of you were recorded when you were doing it. So, welcome to my life.
Any romance that we’ll see this season?
JM: I’ve heard a rumor that some people on the crew dabble and we’ll have to wait and see who that is.
How about Ciara and Paget’s relationship, did any of their drama get into the interior as well?
JM: They were good. They’re pretty mature. I would call them my friends.
AG: Yeah, they’re some of the cast members that I would still communicate with, go out to dinner with. Ciara for her age, she acts like she’s 35.
JM: I always joke that she’s twelve but she’s very mature. She’s awesome.
That probably helps the two of them in their relationship.
AG: It does, yeah. It’s amazing that she’s so responsible and they’re very loyal to each other.
JM: They’re just good people in general. Like, really good people.
AG: However, they do bicker like, incessantly.
JM: Oh yeah, and a couple times that that happens, it’s the best thing ever to watch. I love it. I’m like, “Go Ciara!”
View this post on Instagram These stews are on a roll. 😂 Can Chief Stews @Kate_Chastain and @jennathemac keep their balance and their cool? 🤔#BelowDeckSailing A post shared by Below Deck (@belowdeckbravo) on Jan 25, 2020 at 12:06pm PST
Jenna, how long did it take for you to learn to manage the other stews, Madison and Georgia?
JM: I like to be a little bit hands-off because I’m not working with 15-year-olds, they are supposed to have some experience. I don’t want to be a micromanager so I left them to their devices in the beginning and then pretty soon after you see some things that are not going super well. So it really did take me quite a while to achieve some of my personal goals of having them actually learn things and be passionate about it and I think that’s in general about yachting. People that don’t have passion for the actual job shouldn’t be there and that happens a lot and that’s difficult.
Can you manage Madison with candy? Some people can be pretty motivated by sweets and she seems to be one of them.
JM: I’m actually unclear as to what Madison’s motivations are.
Adam, in the trailer you say that you’re the same grumpy, dickhead, asshole: are you?
AG: I just want viewers to know that when I’m working I’m a very different person. I think we all are. We all take on a different role and particularly in a sailing yacht, chartered, with cameras, I mean fucking business. I like things run my way. Until it’s crew night out, then I’ll start smiling, I’ll have fun. I have that ability but don’t fuck with me during the charter.
JM: I think you might have smiled a few times in the galley throughout the whole season.
AG: Yeah, I was smiling, I was laughing, I was having fun.
JM: You sang to yourself.
AG: I would sing every now and then. The point is you’re gonna see a lot of it because I’m working and that’s the key difference that I wanna drive home to viewers: that’s me in the highest stress of my life. Just prepping people for what they’re gonna see. Remember that because I’m not walking down the street with my dog, enjoying the day. Like, that’s as bad as I get.
How is Tex, good?
AG: He’s amazing. He’s with my parents right now.
But I think from like a cooking standpoint, all my food was spot on. She and I work like bread and butter. Nothing like Hannah, night and day. She and I worked great together and it shows in my food, it shows in my presence in front of the guests. No real crew drama other than the typical chef saying, “Get the fuck out of my galley!”
You are good at that. How about the guest requests, did they want a lot of Greek food?
AG: Yeah, we had a Greek night almost every charter. Maybe every other one. It was very popular so my Greek food got dialed in pretty good. I didn’t mind it, it’s not my specialty but pulled it off. We would do huge spreads, whole tables, it was pretty fun.
JM: You did well.
View this post on Instagram Can't wait to see what Chef Adam cooks up on #BelowDeckSailing. 🙌 What do you think his first meal will be? 🤔⬇️ A post shared by Below Deck (@belowdeckbravo) on Jan 9, 2020 at 12:01pm PST
Were there theme parties too?
JM: Yeah. I love theme parties, too. Corfu was a little bit difficult to get supplies but yeah, I can’t even remember all them but we had quite a few, and they were good for the most part.
And beach excursion things too? A lot of those?
JM: Yeah, which are my least favorite. Which you’ll hear about because I bitch and complain about it.
All three ladies from the interior department were in one cabin. How was that?
JM: Um, hell.
AG: She would talk about that every day.
JM: I was really pissed off. Typically as a Chief Stew when there’s all new crew joining, I would be responsible to say who’s in what cabin. But because we have Ciara and Paget who were already on the boat and it was like their little home and when I came on, it was like, this is what’s happening. So it was predetermined and that was a little bit, I guess beyond my control at the time. I didn’t want to step on any toes and you want to respect people that have been there, but I definitely tried to change cabins at one point but it was difficult. Also, Glenn has a cabin with Byron, he doesn’t have his own cabin.
Adam, I’m guessing this was a nice change with Glenn versus what you were used to with Sandy?
AG: For me, yes. I loved it, I loved working for Glenn. Listen, I love Sandy. She’s awesome, she’s an awesome person. I don’t like working for her. Glenn on the other hand, didn’t give a fuck what I did. He could care less. He just knew that the guests were happy, that’s all that mattered.

We see that Paget and Ciara have the pictures of themselves up in the boat, did you guys want to put pictures of yourselves on the wall too?
JM: No. I didn’t care. I was too busy to think about pictures.
Did Kate Chastain give you any advice at all during the journey?
JM: I don’t think she gave me any advice. I’m not a person who ever likes advice and I think that she is probably similar to me in the way that we’re both type A personalities and she would just know I’d probably hate that. I would assume that she has that common sense to know that, and vice versa. I’ve asked her for a couple tips but yeah, she’s just been a support, so that’s nice.
Anything else that you guys are looking forward to people seeing this?
AG: Basically everything that you’ve seen on previous Below Deck shows you’re gonna see again in our show all bottled up into one with adventure — which is something that none of the other ones have.
JM: One thing that’s my favorite part is I feel like we have such a cool, sarcastic, witty banter with most of the crew.
AG: Our crew are, they’re smart, they’re witty, they’re not like dumb, well a couple of them are but for the most part we talk and we joke. I think you’re gonna see it in the end product because these are real people talking about real things.
JM: It’s that camaraderie and I think that’s part of sailing too. I feel like there were certain people who fit into that and certain people who did not fit into that and they suffer as a result.
Are we gonna learn if Parker is still breastfed by his mother?
JM: Oh yeah, you will find out.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Monday at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.

Where Are Jenna and Adam from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Now?
American reality television shows have a way of getting us hooked to people’s lives. There is something so enthralling about getting to be a part of someone’s story and having a glimpse of what it would be like to walk in their shoes. While many complain of these shows being partly scripted, others don’t mind the romance and drama at all! Such is the case with Bravo’s latest spin-off ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ that gives us a sneak-peek into the behind-the-scenes of a luxury sailing yacht during a charter season in Greece. The show follows the professional and personal dilemmas of the crew members and the manner with which they handle complicated relationships, high-pressure situations, sailing crisis, and obnoxious guest demands.
Jenna and Adam: Below Deck Sailing Yacht Journey
Chef Adam Glick, who is an old cast member of the show featuring on ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ twice, is joined by the new Chief Stewardess Jenna MacGillivray. When the two meet for the first time, sparks fly! Since the very first episode, the two are seen flirting heavily and not being able to keep their eyes off each other. Due to the pressure of planning an impromptu wedding, a stressed and drunk Jenna ends up making out with Adam.
With their professional relationship becoming more and more personal by each passing day, the couple’s intense sizzling chemistry comes to the forefront and is noticed by other crew members. They are not too happy about it as it affects their work when the couple engages in a fight. Even though Adam and Jenna’s romance continues to blossom, they are hit with a few challenges.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jenna MacGillivray (@jennathemac)
Adam and Jenna are continuously arguing about the speed of their relationship. While Jenna wants more from him, he seems reluctant. Jenna has a long list of ex-boyfriends and it seems like she is running out of patience. Adam, too, is not new to workplace romance as he has been involved in love triangles in the past seasons.
Jenna’s insecurity shoots up when she witnesses guests flirting with Adam. Adam’s jealousy and anger, too, poses a threat to their relationship when he comes to know that Jenna and their colleague, Georgia, had hooked up with the same guy in the past. But, Georgia manages to sort things out between the duo, and they quickly kiss and make up. Even though Adam and Jenna officially hook up on-screen and their sexual tension finally comes to fruition, Madison and other crew members are mad at the couple for sleeping together in the master guest cabin!
Even though their relationship is filled with drama and romance, the two have constantly been confusing the viewers with their mood swings. The off-and-on chemistry has been keeping fans at the edge of their seats with Jenna and Adam screaming their heads off one second and then cuddling the next.
Are Jenna and Adam Still Together?
Even though the show is still going on, it was filmed months ago. So fans are already wondering if the couple’s hot steamy romance will last or not. Adam has been keeping a low-profile on Instagram and doing a great job of hiding any spoilers. But, he recently said in an interview that his dynamic with Jenna has always been complicated and it still kind of is. He doesn’t know what is in store for the future, but they still talk every day. He confessed that their relationship has always been filled with lots of feelings and emotions, so it is hard to keep it stable. He also said that his job in the season was very frustrating and claustrophobic, and it was Jenna who would pop in from time to time to cheer him up. So, he appreciates that.
On the other hand, Jenna is a bit more open to sharing. She recently took to Instagram and dedicated a long post to Adam, wherein she said how grateful she was to have shared this journey with someone like him, be it a friend or lover.
According to Jenna’s posts, it seems like the duo is still together but working things through. She also confessed in an interview that she meets Adam regularly during weekends. The duo also met up with the crew for a reunion in Los Angeles, recently. She also shared that Adam went through a lot because of her but he evolved massively on the season.
For now, the two are leading different lives and probably attempting a long-distance relationship. While Jenna has been working full-time in Ontario, Adam has been traveling across the country for the filming of his new show ‘Stoked’.

Why Below Deck Sailing Yacht Didn’t Bring Jenna MacGillivray Back After Season 1
The first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht had Bravo fans hook, line and sinker. It took the original premise of Below Deck and intensified it into a more confining space. Oddly enough, though, none of the crew (save the captain) returned for the highly anticipated Season 2, which premiered on March 1. Fans were left wondering, why was chief stewardess Jenna MacGillivray not brought back?
Ahead of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 premiere, Captain Glenn Shepherd and executive producer Jill Goslicky revealed in an AMA on Reddit why Jenna MacGillivray did not come back. What it, essentially, boils down to is exactly what MacGillivray was accused of not having last season: professionalism . Goslicky said,
The short is answer - we absolutely wanted Jenna to have the staying power of Kate and Hannah. In our dream scenario, every cast member we bring on board is such a hit they carry on for seasons and seasons. I also genuinely loved working with Jenna - she gets a lot of flack on social media, but she truly was great to work with. I think if I’m being truly honest… Jenna got swept up in a boatmance… and I think in that way, she didn’t allow herself to shine and show how amazing she truly is.
The relationship between chief stew Jenna MacGillivray and chef Adam Glick on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was the key drama of the season. They would often make out in front of the crew and talk smack in private about them. Though it was often a little over the top, and not to mention nauseating, it made for great reality television as they isolated themselves from the group.
Captain Glenn Shephard reflected,
I think the situation with Adam [Glick] - they would have been better postponing getting involved until the season was done. If I can see everything happening between Adam and Jenna in real time, I would probably tell them to tone it down and focus more on work than their personal lives.
The assertion that Jenna MacGillivray’s boatmance is the reason why she didn't return for Season 2 sounds more like MacGillivray's own reason. Fans were critical of her emotional entanglements while working, but they no doubt have always loved a stone-cold chief stew with an attitude. Hannah Ferrier and Kate Chastain set this precedent on Below Deck .
Jill Goslicky said that when the Below Deck producers and Bravo discuss bringing back previous crew members, the main question is: “Do they have compelling reasons for their story to continue on in the show?” Jenna MacGillivray has the most compelling reason out of the whole first season crew to come back on the show. At the reunion show of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , fans awkwardly learned that the two lovebirds were no longer together.
A similar occurrence happened on Below Deck: Mediterranean . Stewardess Aesha Scott got hot and heavy with Jack Stirrup on Season 4, only for fans to find out about a brutal breakup that involved cheating with an ex-girlfriend. But she had the last laugh when she came back for Season 5! Then again, Scott maintained a hero's role throughout her season, not MacGillivray's villain one.
Jill Goslicky teased that there is still potential for a Jenna MacGillivray comeback story. She hinted at the fact that many times crew will take off and return in a later season.
As for Below Deck Sailing Yacht , the new season just started, with promises of drama , cheating, and COVID complications . Tune in to Bravo on Mondays at 9pm EST to watch.

Below Deck: 8 Charter Guests With The Worst Attitudes
- Only a few charter guests on Below Deck have been nice, like Justin Guarini from season.
- Delores, Timothy Sykes, Barrie & Tony have been terrible guests ruining crew morale.
- Erica Rose and Charley Walters were labeled as the worst guests due to their high-maintenance behavior.
Hundreds of charter guests have appeared on the Below Deck franchise over the last 11 years, but only a few have been nice. The famous Bravo series first premiered in 2013 and gave fans a more intimate look at the lives of the yacht crew and their encounters with the charter guests. Laura Desiree from Below Deck Down Under season 2 has been among the newest and most memorable guests. She was extremely inappropriate throughout her stay on Captain Jason Chambers’ yacht, making wild demands such as asking Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph to cover her in chocolate.
Justin Guarini from Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 was also very memorable. The American Idol season 1 runner-up surprised viewers by boarding Captain Glenn Shephard’s yacht a few months ago. He immediately left a mark on fans by being one of the nicer charter guests. In one instance, Justin complimented Chef Ileisha Dell by claiming her cuisine was out of the world. Despite some great charter guests, there have been more than a few with terrible attitudes.
20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Alexis bellino, below deck season 7.
Since 2013, numerous rude guests have appeared on Below Deck . Alexis Bellino appeared as a guest on the original series who angered the crew with her excessive PDA. The Real Housewives of Orange County alumni appeared in Below Deck with her boyfriend at the time, Andy Bohn. Immediately, she creeped fans out with her PDA and made Kate Chastain and Courtney Skippon roll their eyes. Later, Alexis took to X and called out the crew members. She wrote,
“pot calling the kettle black,”
taking a shot at Kate and Courtney’s boatmances with Tanner Sterback and Brian de Saint Pern.
Below Deck Season 8
Delores from Below Deck season 8 was extremely inappropriate and a terrible guest overall. In episode 11, she gets so drunk and later tries to have a late-night swim. She made the entire crew scared for her well-being by attempting to swim in the ocean at night. Even when Captain Lee Rosbach warned her, Delores jumped into the sea and broke safety rules. As expected, the Captain had to send her home the next day. During her final scene, she again jumped off the mini-boat to shore , proving she hadn’t learned anything.
Justin Richards
Below deck season 9.
When Justin Richards appeared on Below Deck season 9, it looked like he wouldn’t be too much trouble. However, the charter guest proved everyone wrong by creating a big scene. In one of the episodes, Justin got very drunk before dinner alongside primary charter guests Michael Durham and Terri Foss. He then argued with them and got so angry he chose to leave the table. Justin then ate his dinner on the swim platform, creating unnecessary drama . At one point, Justin even threatened to throw someone overboard, which was out of the line.
Timothy Sykes
Below deck season 2.
Like Delores, Timothy Sykes was one of Below Deck 's most disrespectful charter guests. Timothy complained about small things like the internet and reduced the crew’s tips in front of Captain Lee because of minor food complaints. While replying to a fan, Captain Lee shared his first-hand experience of Timothy and why he was a terrible charter guest. He said (via Cheatsheet ), “Timothy Sykes took back some of the tips, 5K after he had already handed it to me and said he was taking some back because his 19-year-old girlfriend didn’t like her dinner after he ordered it for her.”
Below Deck: 12 Crew Members Who Should Have Been Fired But Weren't
Barrie & tony, below deck sailing yacht season 2.
Barrie and Tony Drewitt-Barlow were charter guests on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2. They boarded Captain Glenn’s yacht to take their family on a luxury holiday through Croatia. Unfortunately, they were on their worst behavior throughout their time on the boat, leading to petty drama and cringe-worthy moments. The first thing viewers disliked the most about Barrie was his mean attitude . Tony was just as bad as his former partner, with his high maintenance and lack of self-awareness.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Seasons 2 & 3
Below Deck Sailing Yacht guest Erica Rose was the worst charter guest ever after her appearance. One reason why fans felt Erica was the worst was her high-maintenance behavior. The attorney was constantly throwing orders, using the Stews as her maids, and being inappropriate overall. Crew members like Daisy Kelliher felt demeaned by Erica’s demands and rude behavior. She told the cameras, “These people are disrespectful,” adding that they are unpredictable and scary. Erica had an issue with everyone from the Chef to the stews until the end.
Charley Walters
Charley Walters was on Below Deck season 8, episode 14. He was a returning guest, having made other appearances on the Bravo show before. One of the worst demands from Charley was an inclination toward embarrassing male crew members. At one time, he made them wear short speedos and served them dinner and drinks. He also made outrageous demands from the Chef, making others suffer for his enjoyment.
While Charley later said producers told him to act badly for the drama, it doesn’t change the fact that he did it without remorse.
Dean Slover
The self-proclaimed food-lover and traveler, Dean Slover, was a difficult charter guest . Despite his past difficult life, Dean didn’t make it easy for fans to like him. When he debuted on the show, he made an extensive preference sheet on the spot, pushing the crew to run around trying to fulfill his demands. He also showed a bossy attitude toward others, thinking he was the biggest deal on Captain’s yacht. From demanding rocket ship-shaped towels to requesting meals at precise times , Dean did ruin the entire Below Deck crew’s mood, be it the Stews or the Chef.
Below Deck season 11 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.

In the comments section, Captain Glenn replied to several comments, one of which was asking about the next season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
“not til late spring early summer.” Captain Glenn replied.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 won’t hit Bravo airwaves until Below Deck Season 11 wraps up. The season has only just begun, with plenty more drama to play out before we get to the hit sailing show.
Captain Glenn also had fun when one fan asked why all the Below Deck captains are so hot.
“Smoke and mirrors?” he wrote.
Aside from those comments, several Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans happily gushed over a young Captain Glenn. The consensus was that he looked hot and yummy.
“Love this, Bosun Glenn!” declared one Captain Glenn fan.
Here’s what else we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5
While fans are anxiously waiting for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, there are a few things we know. For one, Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are back for another stint following their Season 4 rift.
How Gary will be portrayed or how involved he is in the season remains up in the air following allegations of sexual assault against him that came out after filming wrapped last summer.
Sadly, Colin MacRae won’t return for another season amid his falling out with Daisy. It’s unclear if it’s because of things that unfolded between him, Gary, and Daisy or if he simply wanted to sail his newly restored catamaran.
In other Below Deck Sailing Yacht news, Daisy has built a friendship with Hollywood A-lister Christina Appelgate .

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht chef told Andy Cohen that he and Jenna are no longer together. However, Adam said that the two still keep in touch. "Yes, in fact, we were just speaking earlier today," he shared in the above clip.
Adam and Jenna's relationship had become incredibly strained by the May 4 episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . After a tense discussion following a late-night hookup in the master cabin, things had majorly cooled between Adam and Jenna. The chief stew's attempt to smooth things over with Adam by writing him several love notes proved to be unsuccessful in getting them back on track.
Adam Glick Addresses His "Attitude" with Jenna MacGillivrary on Below Deck Sailing Yacht
The two had a serious discussion about the state of their relationship and what the future holds for them at the end of the episode. When Jenna asked Adam where he sees them going from here, he made it seem like his next steps after the charter season didn't include her. "I'm gonna get the f--k off this boat, hop in my van, and drive away," Adam told Jenna as her eyes filled up with tears.
However, Jenna isn't giving up on love. She reflected on her romantic history and vowed to continue to love and give love to others in an emotional post on Instagram on May 5.
View this post on Instagram My relationship history is scattered with intensity, genuine love, and a lot of heartbreak. I have always loved deeply because I have always believed in a fairytale that perhaps doesnât exist. You get jaded after how many times you believe in someone or something that doesnât believe in you. Iâve also broken hearts and hurt men in ways I didnât think I had the power or capability of doing. But no matter how many times I fall, I get up and get the desire to love again. At times I have absolutely put love and that fairytale above anything else, including myself. I have lost my way, lost what I needed. But I believe we all want and need to be loved, and we need a healthy love that gives equally from both sides. I will love as much as I can in this life in various forms, because it is what we are here for and I have so much of it to give. Tell someone you love them today, and above all, tell yourself â¤ï¸. Below Deck’s Jared Woodin Gets Into Awkward ‘Fight’ With Provisioner Over Towels: ‘F—king D—khead’
Between an awkward fight with the provisioner and getting insulted by a guest, Below Deck ‘s Jared Woodin is visibly struggling on the boat.
During a new episode, which aired on Monday, March 4, Jared started the charter off on a rocky note with a call to the provisioner. Jared initially sent a text message asking for blue and white deck towels, which the provisioner called a “tough” request.
One day before the charter, Jared got back on the phone with the provisioner for an update on the “state” of the towels. In response, the woman informed Jared that they weren’t able to track down the items.
“We cannot get towels on the island [Grenada] very easily. Especially the model that you are asking for and in a specific color,” she said, to which Jared fired back, “I just need towels. There have to be towels on this island. White or blue.”

The offscreen provisioner didn’t take kindly to Jared ‘s response.
“Listen, if you are a little bit more professional and cordial in your tone, I think it will go across better,” she noted. “Because I feel like we’re having a little fight on the phone here. I’m here to help you.”
Jared apologized to the provisioner but ultimately wasn’t able to get the towels. In a confessional, Ben Willoughby called the bosun a “f—king d—khead” after witnessing Jared’s back and forth on the phone call .
Later in the episode, Jared got emotional when a drunk guest told him it was a good thing he was attractive because he had “nothing else going” for him.
“The guest’s comment brings me back to the way I felt as a child and being told I f—ked something up. Back to not being good enough,” Jared told cameras before starting to cry on the boat. “I tend to put myself down a lot. It is the way I feel about my self worth.”

In the sneak peek for the March 11 episode, its revealed that Jared’s future on the boat will be called into question when Captain Kerry Titheradge walks in on a tense conversation between him and Kyle Stillie. The captain previously attempted to help Jared after noticing how his mental health had deteriorated.
“I really care about where Jared is at and I can see that he is not in a good place. He is going through a tough spot but he is the head of a department,” Kerry said in a confessional on Monday’s episode. “You can’t have your head in the clouds or somewhere else. It affects your safety and the safety of the guests. You have to be focused on the job.”
Jared told Kerry that most of his stress came from not being able to contact his daughter .
“I only get two times a week to talk to my daughter. I’m in jeopardy of losing all communication if I do not adhere and stick to the schedule that I have,” Jared, who shares the young child with his ex, explained. “I’m trying to build trust again. It is super important to me that I maintain consistency.”

Jared, who has never met his child before, explained how important it was for him, adding, “Last night was particularly difficult for me. It was very emotional because Tuesdays and Fridays are the days I am supposed to speak with my daughter. And not having phone service — I was not able to speak with my daughter. It is real.”
Kerry, meanwhile, offered resources to Jared . “At any point if you need to call someone, then come and see me. All that stuff that you have going on, work through it but you are the boson on the boat,” the captain added. “You have to hold yourself to a higher level.”

Before season 11 premiered on Bravo, Kerry exclusively told Us Weekly that not all the cast will last.
“I think we may have reached the record of firings this season,” he teased to Us in February before weighing in on Jared and Ben’s tension. “It’s a bit of a power struggle there with Jared and Ben. I didn’t realize how bad it was until that first episode.”
Below Deck season 11 airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.

Below deck sailing yacht: what to know about jenna macgillivray.
Jenna MacGillivray caused a lot of drama on Below Deck Sailing Yacht when she got into a boatmance with Adam Glick. Learn more about Jenna!
Jenna MacGillivray appeared on Bravo's Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1 as the chief stewardess, and she's been up to a lot since then. During her time on the show, Jenna was proven to be a tough leader who easily got swept off her feet by chef Adam Glick. Her debut season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht proved to be trying and tiring which resulted in plenty of drama and finding love.
Jenna is originally from Canada, and she had no plans to join yachting , but that all changed when she got bit by the travel bug. She started her yachting career in 2004 and worked her way up to chief stewardess. At one point, Jenna took a break and took a job as a social worker. Realizing that wasn’t where her passion lied, she went back to yachting. Overall, Jenna is a perfectionist and holds her team to high standards. She's not a coddler and has no problem letting someone know when they’re messing up. Alas, when Jenna is off the clock, her sarcastic humor and partying nature are on full display.

During Jenna MacGillivray's time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht , she took on her role as the chief stewardess with the agenda of developing a successful interior. However, love became priority number one when Jenna and chef Adam developed a connection . Throughout the charter season, fans got to see the ups and downs of the budding couple and how it impacted the rest of the boat. The season ended with Adam and Jenna doing some traveling together in his van.
Viewers didn't really get a chance to witness how good Jenna is at her job due to her "boatmance" with Adam. Her lack of professionalism is the main reason why she wasn't brought back to season 2 or any season thereafter, unlike other chief stews Kate Chastain and Hannah Ferrier. Executive producer Jill Goslicky actually talked about Jenna's lack of return during an AMA on Reddit . Goslicky wrote, " The short is answer - we absolutely wanted Jenna to have the staying power of Kate and Hannah. (...) I think if I’m being truly honest… Jenna got swept up in a boatmance (...) and she didn’t allow herself to shine and show how amazing she truly is. "
Since the end of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1, Jenna is no longer with Adam and continues to be a part of yachting. Prior to the show, she was already a member of that world as a stewardess. She still continues to travel when she's onshore, and recently even took a road trip with friends. However, viewers didn't really get a chance to witness how good Jenna is at her job due to her "boatmance" with Adam. Her lack of professionalism is the main reason why she wasn't brought back to season 2 or any season thereafter, unlike other chief stews Kate Chastain and Hannah Ferrier.
