About Joyce and Sebastian’s wedding day held at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran, New Jersey

The happy couple started off their day getting ready at Springhill Suites in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Here I started photographing bridal details such as the wedding dress, jewelry and accessories, shoes and other cute items that Joyce and her bridesmaids had so generously gathered for me. After finishing with details, I hopped right into documenting the girls doing their hair and makeup. Sebastian and his boys were right down the hall in another separate suite, which made it incredibly easy for me to bounce back and forth between rooms in order to get all the coverage I needed.

Every time I document the start of a wedding day, I always make sure to stay silent and unobtrusive. This allows the women to feel at ease with my presence and to relax and be themselves. I want your natural personalities to shine through in your photographs and staying out of the way and hidden is a perfect way to accomplish this. After we finished with the getting ready portion of their wedding day, we all hopped in our cars and headed straight to St. Casimir Church in Riverside, New Jersey.

I always leave the hotel a bit really so I can arrive at church in time to setup my photography gear and capture the bride coming out of her limo. Normally the bride is accompanied by her father into the church. This is a very nice little moment that no photographer should miss. Upon the guests arriving, I always photograph lots of reactions. This is the first time of the day that family members will be seeing each other and these kinds of photos always make for some nice emotion. The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony went off without even the slightest issue. After the church service was finished we quickly started with family group photographs. Once we finished with all the photos we had on our list, the couple and their families went for a short break before we all headed to Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran, New Jersey.

Once we arrived at the Clarks Landing wedding venue, we started with creative photographs of the bride and groom. I took the happy couple around the property and quickly and easily captured a ton of really great photographs. On a wedding day, you want to be as efficient as you possibly can be. Shoot each pose/scenario with purpose and waste no time with complicated lighting setups that yield less than stellar results. After the bride and groom were fully satisfied, I completed some really fun bridal party group photos before we all headed back inside for a special Chinese Tea Ceremony.

This tea ceremony yielded a ton of really great emotional moments. I was able to easily capture photo after photo of family members presenting the bride and groom with intimate, special gifts. I love real moments like this at a wedding day where the bride, groom and their family members let their guards down and allow themselves to be emotional with one and other. I have to admit it brings a tear to my eye when I watch moment’s like these.

After their tea ceremony was complete, cocktail hour began. During this hour, I quickly photographed the ballroom , any and all remaining details and setup my photography gear before their reception began. Their party was an absolute blast. First dances, speeches and toasts all went perfectly. The DJ did a great job and kept the crowd really dancing all night long. At the end of their evening Sebastian and Joyce took part in a wonderful little new tradition called The Shoe Game. The couple is asked random questions about their relationship and depending upon their answers, they hold up either the left or right shoe. One for the bride answer and one for the groom answer. This game really makes for some hilarious outcomes.

At the end of their reception I thanked the bride and groom for allowing me the pleasure and honor of documenting their wedding day. I also make sure to congratulate the parents and say thank you to them as well. Overall, Joyce & Sebastian’s wedding day was a great success. I wish the happy couple nothing but health, happiness and many years of love.

Olivia and Ryan met through mutual friends on a Halloween boat cruise on the Hudson River. Olivia was dressed as Cruella De Vil and Ryan was Superman! They hit it off and Ryan eventually proposed on a trip to California overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge! Needless to say, these two had a memorable proposal and they started planning their wedding shortly after. Little did they know, they would end up having a long engagement of over two years due to the pandemic.

These two were supposed to get married in April 2020, but had to postpone their wedding and, in the end, they were my most rescheduled couple with five different wedding dates. They tied the knot in a small minimony this past spring and postponed their big wedding celebration until it would be safer for their loved ones to celebrate with them. In the meantime, they went on an incredible honeymoon to Bora Bora while looking forward to finally having their postponed wedding celebration.

Their Clarks Landing wedding day was our last wedding for September and it was truly beautiful. When Olivia and Ryan began to plan their wedding day, they knew from the start they wanted a venue on the water. With all of the sage green and ivory inspiration Olivia was pinning, when they saw Clarks Landing, they knew it was the venue. It checked off all the boxes and it’s just so beautiful! They filled their day with white, sage green, and blush details and it turned out to be a truly stunning September wedding day. As with all of my postponed couples, it was worth the wait!!

Congratulations to Olivia and Ryan! We waited so long for this day and it was such an honor to be able to capture it for you!! Enjoy these highlights of your day!!

Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran, NJ is located only 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia and is the perfect place for all your special occasions! The spectacular waterfront views and sunsets make for the perfect photos.

With many different locations, Clarks Landing Yacht Club caters to people all over. The original “castle” was built in the late 1800’s and today’s design still embodies elegance and charm. Roderick Clark started his company in Point Pleasant, the first and original location, as a boat building business, but it quickly turned into much more than that. It became a go-to spot for families to spend their time together boating, fishing, swimming and more. Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran is a very popular location and is owned by the Truesdale family. The family makes sure to keep the same elegance that Roderick Clark envisioned for his business.

Clarks Landing Yacht Club is known for its beautiful out door ceremonies. Enchanted Celebrations and Clarks Landing Yacht Club helped Alicia and Vincent tie the knot in March of 2018. The sun was shining and their outdoor ceremony was unforgettable! The view of the blue sky and calming water made for a perfect ceremony and perfect wedding photos. Molly and Kevin’s wedding photos were also spectacular. Our NJ Wedding Photographer captured photos of Molly and her bridesmaids as they posed in front on the beautiful marina.

Clarks Landing Yacht Club does it all from custom wedding cakes to 5-star chefs. Their dinner entree options are endless! With roast prime rib of beef, herb encrusted flounder, vegetarian options and more, you can please all of your guests! The dessert menu includes an ice cream sundae bar, warm coffee, and a “hangover prevention station” to make sure all of your guests feel good the next morning. Enchanted Celebrations and Clarks Landing Yacht Club’s goal is to please. Corryne and Mike’s wedding was filled with delicious food thanks to Clarks Landing Yacht Club. Clarks Landing Yacht Club is not just a venue, they are there for all of your needs. They took stress off of Corryne and Mike’s shoulders as they made sure their guests had only the best food and more!

The grand ballroom at Clarks Landing Yacht Club has held many amazing weddings, all special and unique in their own way. The grand ballroom makes for the perfect reception and gorgeous wedding photos. The tall ceilings and elegant chandeliers make the room feel inviting as guests arrive. Corryne and Mike posed for our NJ Wedding Photographer in the grand ballroom. The floor to ceiling windows were made for perfect wedding photos with the view of the water in the background.

Samantha and Chris’s wedding was absolutely amazing! Samantha started her day off by getting ready in an elegant room with her bridesmaids. Our NJ Wedding Photographer captured the most stunning photos of Samantha as she posed alone for the camera. Their outdoor, spring wedding was incredible. The pink flowers were starting to bloom and the water formed small waves as the breeze blew. Their wedding photos were absolutely amazing thanks to our NJ Wedding Photographer and the help of Clarks Landing Yacht Club. The reception in the grand ballroom was a blast. The nature light came in through the large windows and the dance floor was big enough to fit everyone! Samantha and Chris’s wedding was filled with lots of love and amazing wedding photos that will last a lifetime.

Katie and Michael’s summer wedding was spectacular. Clarks Landing Yacht Club holds beautiful weddings any time and season of the year. The sun was shining down on Katie as she was wrapped up in her gorgeous, lace wedding gown. She held a personalized bouquet of wedding flowers that looked absolutely stunning in photos. Our NJ Wedding Photographer captured an intimate portrait session down by the marina of the two lovebirds. Their wedding photos were incredible thanks to Clarks Landing Yacht Club’s amazing views and scenery. Their guests danced the night away in the grand ballroom and our NJ Wedding Photographer was their to capture it all.

Enchanted Celebrations and Clarks Landing Yacht Club make the perfect team. We take the stress off of couples so they can enjoy the happiest day of their lives. Our years of experience and seeing couples so happy is why we do what we do. We go above and beyond for our clients and we know how to please everyone. I got married here on April 21st, 2023 & it was the best decision we could have made! The entire staff at Clark's was amazing and helpful throughout the entire process. The cocktail hour & food in general was exceptional and we are STILL getting compliments on our wedding!! HIGHLY recommend Clark's Landing for anyone looking for an above & beyond wedding venue!

My son and daughter-in-law were married here in October 2023 - it was perfect! The entire staff was professional and friendly, very well organized but flexible too. The food was beyond delicious and plentiful. Everyone had a fantastic time and are still talking about the wedding. Thank you for creating the perfect day!

Attended a wedding here on a Friday evening. Unfortunately we missed the ceremony; yet, the set up outdoors was lovely. The view was pretty as the sun was setting. I bet the pictures were priceless. The cocktail hour was in a room that also had a great view to the water and the sun setting. The main room was spacious enough to fit a live band, newly wed table, photo booth and over 100 guests. The bar wasn't as big as expected for the amount of people; yet the bartenders were so awesome the line moved so quick! Each table had a personal waiter. That was great! No need to call someone over from afar when they would be right there ready for you. When our dinners cane out, each table cane out with enough waiters carrying a plate each. Loved how they circled the table to then place the food down. Nice presentation. Upon leaving there was a station serving burgers, fries and water to go. Overall, as a guest I would totally recommend this place to brides and grooms!!

I can't thank the staff of Clark's Landing enough for the fabulous job everyone did making a special day spectacular and perfect. Throughout the entire planning process, they were nothing but accommodating and helpful. Every detail was attended to for the wedding party as we all got dressed and prepared for the ceremony. Someone asked me if there was behind the scenes drama, and there was none. The food was wonderful and plentiful. The waitstaff was ever-present and so kind to all the guests. Despite the amount of guests we had, the room felt spacious with a wonderful wide-open dance floor. The staff was also accommodating by staying masked, ensuring our guests stayed as safe as possible. We have been receiving endless raves about our affair, and I am sure more receptions will be planned for the future by many guests. In sum, the wedding exceeded our expectations.

I could not recommend Clarks Landing enough! We fell in love with this venue from the minute we saw it. Nicole's enthusiasm and excitement for all of her couples is unmatched, and we were so lucky to work with her for our wedding. When 2020 had other plans, Nicole and the Clarks Landing staff supported us through the difficult postponement process due to shutdowns. Nicole provided positive thoughts and support in such an unprecedented time, whether it was to answer a question, provide a suggestion, or the keep up the excitement in a time of doubt or worry! In May 2021, we were able to have a more perfect day than we imagined, thanks to Nicole, Judy, and the entire Clarks Landing staff. Our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was, in addition to the delicious food, amazing views, and outstanding service. We cannot thank them enough for such a special wedding day!

Jan and I went here to celebrate the wedding for the daughter of good friends of ours and we were very impressed indeed. The happy hour reception was phenomenal as far as the food, variety, drinks and service. The sit down dinner was excellent as well as the overall execution of the entire affaire. With dozens of staff tripping over each other to serve you the service was outstanding. Their awesome river views contributed to the ambience which help provide a great experience that night. The bottom line: you would be hard pressed to find anything better than Clarks Landing for a wedding reception.

Beautiful place! We were lucky to have the best weather when we came here. It was incredible with the sunset and the layout. If it wasnt good weather i could see the review going down but it wasnt the case. Just an amazing place if you want a wedding on the water.

My husband and I are so happy we chose Clarks Landing for our wedding venue in September 2018! First of all, the views are spectacular! Outside, there's the ceremony space and marina. Then, you go inside and it's unbelievable! The cocktail room is huge (just imagine how much food will be there on your wedding day)! The ballroom is upstairs and it's beautiful! The circular dance floor is unique, the chandeliers are elegant, and the ceiling has awesome up-lighting! Now, let's talk about the food. Have you seen the menu yet? There are multiple pages and when you ask "do we really get ALL of this food" the answer is yes! (Well, you do have to choose your main entrees... good luck--that's a hard choice!) Besides the amount of food, I need to mention the quality of the food. Clarks Landing offers something for everyone, everything tastes amazing, and every food item is cooked to perfection! Before we booked this venue, we heard great things about the food and now we know why! Also, the entire staff is fantastic! We had the pleasure of working with Nicole throughout our wedding planning process and she was there for us every step of the way. If I had a crazy question, I received an email response in minutes no matter what day or time it was. Also, the staff was able to set everything up on our wedding day. We gave Nicole a box with our favors and a few other items in it a few days before the wedding. The staff made sure everything was in the right place at the right time and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Although there were weddings going on every weekend, Nicole made me feel like I was the only bride that mattered the entire time I was working with her. Here's another nice bit of information-- Clarks Landing offers an annual ball for all of the couples that have gotten married there in the past! When we went back for our first ball, everything was exactly as we remembered. It's basically a wedding without someone getting married. There is a cocktail hour and a reception-- wear a loose dress this time because you'll definitely eat all of the food you didn't have time to eat on your wedding day! It is a lot of fun going back and meeting other couples that have been married there as well. The best part is that the money you pay to attend the ball goes to charity. :) You may think the price of Clarks Landing must be pretty high since I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. The price is actually super reasonable! Compared to other venues we looked at, Clarks Landing offered the most for our money so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a perfect wedding day there. Oh, did I mention the ice sculpture that's included? In conclusion, don't wait to book your wedding date at Clarks Landing!

Couples looking for the perfect wedding venueshould look no further than Clark's Landing Yacht Club. We recently had our wedding reception at Clark's, after having to postpone from our original date in July 2020. When we met Nicole two years ago to tour the venue, there was no question that this was where we wanted to celebrate the happiest day of our lives. Nicole obviously loves what she does, and her enthusiasm was immediately contagious. We were blown away by the views, and the reception and cocktail rooms are so beautiful. We had heard about their amazing food from friends who attended weddings there, so our choice was an easy one to make! Nicole was amazing during the initial planning stages, but really showed us a different level of service when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to postpone due to the pandemic. She was so calming and strived hard to make things work by getting us a date that was exactly a year later, so we would be able to celebrate our one-year anniversary with the wedding reception we had dreamed about. Once our parents and us attended the amazing meal tasting, we knew our guests would have endless delicious food served to them. Many members of our family and several guests have various food allergies, which Clark's handles in stride. They had us detail each guest who had allergies and where they were sitting, so the servers were aware in advance of the night. The day of the wedding was just a dream. Judy, the maître d, along with her team, had the day run perfectly smooth. Our guests could not believe how much food was served at the cocktail hour and were raving about how delicious everything was. The same for the reception. Guests are all welcome to have seconds of any entre on the menu, which impressed all. The options guests can choose for dessert, along with the added "to-go" station (pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwiches), not one guest went home hungry! Above everything however, was the service. Everyone is treated the way you would want your guests to be treated. The team of Nicole and Judy, along with their staff is second to none. They treat you like family and never make you feel like you are just another wedding. The number of phone calls and texts we received from guests the day after raving about Clark's made us so happy we chose them for our day. If you are looking for a well-run, beautiful venue who treats you with class, look no further than Clark's Landing.

This venue deserves a lot more than 5 stars! What an amazing place to have your wedding and ceremony. My daughter started off with her outdoor ceremony facing the water. It was so lovely. Even a couple of seagulls flew by. Very relaxing and beautiful setting. Then came the cocktail hour. It was a feast in itself. The reception was upstairs and the food and drinks were incredible. Everything was delicious! A beautiful place to have your wedding. It starts with the wedding planner and maitre'd. The are so helpful. They made us feel so welcome and gave us a lot of attention. All of the servers bridal attentant, bartenders did so much for my daughter to make her feel special. It truly was a perfect event.

Family Owned Over 40 Years

Over a Century of History

Roderick a. clark.

In 1862, Roderick A. Clark was one of the first in a group of volunteers to enlist in the Union Army. As a Sergeant in Company F, 14th/Regiment of the New Jersey Volunteers, he was wounded at the Battle of Monocacy Junction and thus began receiving an $18 per month pension from the U.S. government in 1863.

16 years later on July 1, 1879, Mr. Clark purchased a wooded parcel of land on the Manasquan River for $1,141 (only one dollar more than the next best offer) and developed the area into one of the finest tourist spots in the area.

Clarks Landing began as a boat-building business but soon evolved into much more than that. Being located in such a gorgeous location, it became a popular recreational spot for families from all over the state. They would come for boating, fishing, crabbing, canoeing, swimming, picnicking, dancing, and bathing.

The Victorian Destination

Entertaining in the late 1800s.

In 1894, a two-story pavilion was built on the riverfront. In 1896, a steam organ, an electric merry-go-round and a steam-powered ice cream machine were added. Due to the addition of outdoor music, another large pavilion and a dancing platform were constructed in 1903. In 1862, Roderick A. Rosia Clark, Roderick Clark's son, joined the family business in the 1920's. Sailing regattas were all the rage during this time period and friendly rivalries developed on the Manasquan River.

Subsequent owners of Clarks Landing Yacht Sales included H.R. Bills and Leonard Patrick, who made some improvements with the addition of several summer cottages. The easy accessibility of Treasure Island, the canal, and the upper reaches of the Manasquan River makes Clarks the best place to spend a relaxing day!
