A boatload of teamwork and creativity ensured the success of this fully custom Rossinavi under the guidance of an experienced owner. As Lel makes her debut on the charter market with Ocean Independence , we took the chance to tour around this 50 metre motor yacht. 

The custom 50-metre Rossinavi Lel raises the bar in the art and science of reimagining a superyacht’s exterior proportions – or, to be more specific, its decks. Lel ’s aft deck sits 90 centimetres higher than the rest of the main deck. This seemingly subtle change creates a lofty, private lounge on the aft deck, far out of sight of quayside gawkers, as well as what is without doubt the standout space on board – the cavernous beach club below. But there’s more to this layout edit than meets the eye.

The exterior

Delivered in 2020 by Rossinavi, the 50 metre Lel is the first collaboration between the Italian shipyard and designer Luca Dini. The brief called for a yacht with plentiful spaces for entertaining that could be used year-round in any weather, all while keeping the interior volume under 500GT and the length under 50 metres so that the yacht can easily go into port. The finished product has resulted in an exterior with sporty and sharp lines that is not overtly aggressive, paired with a blunt-nosed, vertical bow and black radar mast that adds an edgy feel to her profile.

The main saloon

Interior spaces on board Lel have been designed with a neutral colour palette that's interspersed with reflective materials, well-designed lighting and pops of colour. The main saloon features extra-large windows and a forward bulkhead in black and gold marble, a motif matched by the soft goods. 

Accommodation on board Lel comprises six guest cabins for 12 guests with a crew of nine. A full-beam master suite on the main deck cultivates a feeling of openness; glass doors on the starboard side lead out on to an integrated balcony that can be used even in port, while a glass-walled bathroom is left entirely open to the bedroom. This glass frames a silver-coated bathtub that is a work of art in itself, and the dramatic bathroom is adorned in white and grey onyx, shining stainless steel and counters with under lighting.

The beach club

Comprising a lounge and swimming platform complete with a cocktail bar, the beach club has been designed as a spectacular living room on the water with a generous ceiling height of over two metres. When not in use, loose furniture can be easily moved to allow the space to transition easily into a tender garage.

The beach club is accessed only from an internal stairwell; there are no exterior steps down to the bathing platform so it can also be used as another indoor lounge. The hull cut-outs that make this space count towards outdoor living rather than internal volume are angled upwards to manage airflow, so it's never too breezy inside with the transom doors closed.

The sundeck

A cocktail bar, sun loungers and a glass-bottomed spa pool surrounded by greenery make for a fun-filled sundeck to enjoy in warmer weather. The spa pool sits directly over the central stairwell, so light is filtered through its glass bottom and streams down into a dazzling metallic stairwell. Glass steps allow the light to keep going down and down into the yacht’s interior for a stunning visual effect. An additional saltwater pool can be found on the foredeck.

The exterior lounge

The upper deck veranda offers an al fresco lounge for enjoying the outdoors whatever the weather. The partially covered area offers comfortable seating and a table for al fresco dining, and the entire aft deck can even be temporarily enclosed in glass with heaters installed in the ceiling for staying warm on cooler nights.

Lel is currently available for charter with Ocean Independence with a weekly charter rate starting from €285,000.

Guest Accommodation

LEL is great for families thanks to her child-friendly setup. Built in 2020, She offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests with a layout comprising a master suite located on the main deck, one VIP cabin, three double cabins and one twin cabin. The supremely spacious full beam master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room. There are 8 beds in total, including 1 queen, 4 doubles, 2 singles and 1 pullman. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on LEL is easy thanks to the available amenities, notably the pool, useful to practice your technique or just cool off. Even the most discerning of charter guests will enjoy the included beach club plus soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

LEL is built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 17 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots with a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.

LEL has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. In addition there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Also there are two S 5 SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and experience life swimming with the fish. If that isn't enough LEL also features wakeboards, scuba diving equipment, inflatable water toys and paddleboards. When it comes to Tenders, LEL has you covered - with two tenders, including a 5.8m/19' Novurania Tender.

LEL is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

The exciting news comes from the Italian shipyard Rossinavi as the 49.7m/163.1ft luxury superyacht LEL  ( HULL FR038)  hits the water during the private launch ceremony on the 31st of January.

Her sporty and dynamic exterior profile and modern interiors come from Luca Dini Design . The naval architecture was developed by Arrabito Naval Architects .

The yacht’s renders showcase spacious outdoor areas, with plenty of room both aft and forward. The foredeck hosts a large pool with sunbeds, while the bow of the vessel hosts tender and water toys space. Up on the sundeck is the Jacuzzi with wet bar and sun loungers.

Her interiors are brightly lit with natural light which comes through full-height windows, especially on the main and upper decks. Guests onboard can admire views of the surroundings while dining alfresco or relaxing indoors.

Powered by two MTU 12V 4000 M93L engines, motor yacht LEL can reach a top speed of 23 knots. At 11 knots she has a range of 4,000 nm.
