07.00: Pick up in your hotels at Hanoi Old Quarter by our English speaking guide and shuttle bus. Please be ready at your hotel's lobby and you can be the first or the last passenger depends on your hotel location and traffic. Leaving Hanoi for Ha Long Bay, it takes us about 2hrs to 2,5hr for transfering on new express way

09.00: On the middle way, we will take a short break for restroom, relax, take some coffee or grab a quick snack incase you missed breakfast.

09.30: Arrival in the Tuan Chau Boat Station , ends driving and starts boarding the cruise. Our crews welcome you with warm smiles and a complementary welcome drink. Have a seat on ship and have a quick briefing of program and cruise introduction when we set off into the bay.

10.30: Cruise will stop in a beautiful area and clean water to let us paddle kayak. We will spend about 1 hour to take kayaking trip around rocks, through a little grottos and into lagoon, surrounded by rock walls in all directions. Then, paddling back to the boat.

11.45: We will have buffet lunch on board with a variety of options of some famous traditional and delicious surprises dishes in around Vietnam

*Mineral water is served free throughout the cruise time and other drinks will be charge with noticed price

14.00: After lunch, our cruise will stop at Three Peaches Beach  for swimming, relaxing on beach, sunbathing or take a fun option with speed boat ride around (optional).  We are the only day boat able to reach this far end of Lan Ha Bay .

15.30: Get back to our boat and it is time for Cooking Class where you can learn more the preparation method with Vietnamese fresh ingredients and try to make it by yourselves.Taste your foods with fun

16.15: After cooking time, we relax and have a sunset party, enjoy some coffee, tea, fresh fruits and snacks and enjoy the return sail back

Complimentary vietnamese teas, coffee, fresh fruit, and little cakes to keep you satisfied until you return to hanoi. While the sunset starts to drop and the sky fills with deep reds, purples, and yellows, enjoy the return sail back.

17.30: Back to the boat station and we dock at the harbor, get onto the bus to return back to Hanoi 

19.30: We arrival into Hanoi around 19.30 - 20.00, say goodbye at the the front door of the hotel and see you in the next trip of Vietnam

The Halong Catamarans restaurant and bar are fully stocked to serve guests. The restaurant has been beautifully designed with wood and metal elements in uniquely Vietnamese motifs. The steel boat building process was carefully followed, inspected and became certified then registered with Local Authority at the highest level of safety standards. The marine safety equipment provided on board includes VHF Radio, GPRS, Water Ingress Alarm system, Fire Alarm System, Fire Extinguishers… In the public areas and tenders, all safety facilities and life jackets are provided in easy access places. The lighting system, fire alarm, and extinguishers, emergency use hammers are ready for use in public areas. On board, our crew members have followed safety training courses and have knowledge in dealing with an emergency. Before boarding, our staff will present safety information with clear guidance during your stay. A speed boat is available for support in the event of an emergency and local authority rescue teams stand by to help.

07:45 – 8:30 Hotel Pick Up

Our English-speaking tour guide will pick up guests from various hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter, ranging from 07:45 – 8:30 AM, we try to make the pick-ups as timely as possible but with morning traffic in the Old Quarter and many hotels to collect from this time is approximate. Please be ready to help expedite this process.

10:00 – 10:15 Short Lavatory Break

Quick rest stop halfway to stretch your legs, use the facilities, or grab a quick snack in case you missed breakfast (our driver appreciates a coffee break as well!) before we get back on the road and finish the drive.

11:30 – 11:4 5 Boarding the Cruise

The bus will arrive at Tuan Chau marina and reach our pier, where our welcoming staff will be waiting for your arrival with a big smile. A complimentary welcome drink will be served, and a quick briefing as we set off into the bay.

12:00– 13:00 Lunch On Board

Our award-winning chef will be serving up amazing delights for guests to indulge. Paired beautifully with lavish cocktails, fine wines, and beers. The bar will be open for the entirety of the service.

14:00 – 15:00 kayaking or Sitting on Bamboo Boat to Visit the Bright – Dark Cave

We will spend 1-hour round trip paddling through a little grotto and into our private lagoon, surrounded by rock walls in all directions. It’s a peaceful little corner of Halong Bay all to ourselves. The tour guide will tell the folklore of Halong Bay before paddling back to the boat.

15:15 – 15:45 Frog Pond, Swimming- Lan Ha Bay

Enjoy in the trampoline, water slide , go for a swim, or just stay on the boat and relax in Lan Ha Bay. You will have 1hour to enjoy the sand between your toes. So, relax and take a few moments to reflect on the absolute beauty of this natural wonder of the world.

16:00 Cooking Demonstration

Learn the history of a traditional Vietnamese dish that is the most famous. From the fresh ingredients to the preparation method, and then have a try at making them yourselves. You’ll be able to make Vietnamese summer rolls in your own kitchen after this informative and fun course. Excite all your friends and family at home with your new skills!

16:30 Sunset Ceremony – Tea, Cakes

Complimentary Vietnamese teas, fresh fruit, and little cakes to keep you satisfied until you return to Hanoi. While the sunset starts to drop and the sky fills with deep red, purple, and yellow, enjoy the return sail back.

17:45 – 18:00 Disembark – Limousine

We dock at the harbor, get back onto the Limousine, and go on the highway. A quick stop halfway, and back to Hanoi.

20:00- 20:30 Hotel Drop

Thank you for giving The Halong Catamaran the chance to deliver you a once of a lifetime experience. The tour guide will deliver you to the front door of the hotel, of your choice, in the Old Quarter.

*Note: On weekends, some roads will not allow vehicles to make room for the Walking street, therefore our buses will drop you off at the closest and most suitable point in the Old Quarter instead. Thank you very much for your booking.

The Halong Catamaran one-day trip

06:30 - 07:00: Pick-up

You will be picked up from your hotel if it is in Hanoi Old Quarter. There will be an English–speaking tour guide with you on the ride.

08:30 - 08:45: Short break midway

We will have a short break midway for you to use the facilities or grab a quick snack before we get back on the road.

09:30 - 09:45: Boarding the cruise

When we arrive at Tuan Chau Harbour and reach our pier, our staff will be there welcoming you with a complimentary drink, then the crew will give you a quick briefing of the schedule as well as safety on board.

10:30 - 12:00: Kayaking

The one unmissable activity to do when you go on this trip is kayaking on the clear water of Lan Ha Bay. Along with this, you can listen to the folklore of Halong Bay told by our English-speaking guides.

12:15 - 13:00: Lunch

Your lunch on board will be made entirely by award-winning chefs, there are many options to choose from and we can guarantee will satisfy every preference of yours. Side with the wonderful meals are cocktails, fine wines, and beers.

The bar is also open during this time so when you want to try anything outside of the menu, please feel free to order from the bartender.

14:00 - 15:30: Visiting the Three Peaches Beach (Biển Ba Trái Đào) at Lan Ha Bay

You can enjoy the white sand of the beach between your toes, go for a swim, or just stay on the boat and relax; whatever way you choose, you can take this moment to indulge in the absolute beauty of this natural wonder of the world.

16:00: Cooking class

All guests are invited to join the cooking class, in which we will learn and try to make one of Vietnamese famous dishes - the summer role. Fresh ingredients are all prepared beforehand for guests to just take part in the class.

16:30: Sunset Ceremony

Under the beautiful sunset sky, guests are served Vietnamese teas, fresh fruit, and little cakes to enjoy while returning to harbor.

17:30: Departure from the ship

When we are back at the harbor, guests will be taken by bus to go back to Hanoi. There will also be a short break midway during this ride.

20:00 - 20:30: Drop-off

You will be dropped off at the closest spot to your hotel or the most suitable place around the Old Quarter.

A great journey with my family during our 2-week trip to the most famous destinations in Halong Bay. This one-day Halong Bay Cruise took us to Three Peaches Beach, stunning caves, and Lan Ha Bay.

The seafood was fascinating and tasty for a variety of people, from kids to adults. Thank Vietnam Airport Car for supporting us during our holidays from South to North.

On the Halong Catamaran journey, my family had a nice time. Our tour guide, Mike, was excellent. Extremely observant and a good time for the group, the guide. The cuisine was excellent, and the accommodations were suitable for our needs. Everything was delicious and diverse. One of our party members had a seafood allergy, and they provided her with delicious alternatives so she wouldn't miss out. They were also excellent with allergies and dietary needs.

Overall, it was a fantastic vacation that I would suggest to anybody seeking a straightforward trip to Ha Long Bay.

Emperor Cruises Nha Trang is a 5-star cruise ship inspired by King Bao Dai, the last king of Vietnam, with a design that simulates the style of the 1930s. During the cruise, passengers can explore Vietnamese culture, history, art, and cooking.
