The 2024 edition looks set to be even more spectacular than previous years, with an incredible number of world-class yachts that have been commended for their innovation, pioneering technologies or show-stopping design confirmed to appear. Read on for selection of our favourites to look out for.

Best for: Luxury chartering

Citation Longitude

At 122 m in length, Kismet is set to be the largest new superyacht on display at the Monaco Yacht Show. Chartering for €3 million per week with Cecil Wright, she’s also one of the most expensive charter yachts on the seas—and for good reason. Built by prestigious German shipyard Lürssen with an incredible design vision behind her— Nuvolari Lenard penned her head-turning exterior while Reymond Langton Design styled her incredible interior—she’s a force to be reckoned with. A floating wellness sanctuary, Kismet is kitted out with all the latest amenities, including a Balinese spa with a hammam and cryotherapy chamber. She also features a boatload of entertainment facilities, a gigantic owner’s suite and a beautiful, elongated bow with a helipad. On top of that, she’s got one of the highest guest-to-crew ratios in the industry, with 40 crew tending to 12 guests. If you’re lucky enough to get up close, look out for the Jaguar emblem on the bow spirit—a nod to her owner, Jacksonville Jaguars proprietor Shahid Khan.

Best for: Electric elegance

iyc monaco yacht show

Forget everything you know about electric yachts and meet Seawolf X, a hybrid-electric multihull that’s innovative both inside and out. One of the most unique yachts on display at the Monaco Yacht Show, the 42.8-m yacht built by Italian yard Rossinavi features fast-charging batteries and solar panels that allow her to cruise for an entire day in electric mode—or at 90 percent for multiple days. Ideal for eco-conscious cruisers, Seawolf X sleeps 12 in five inviting cabins and features calming interiors designed by Meyer Davis and inspired by the sun, sea and sand. She’s available to charter with Cecil Wright from €380,000 per week.

Best for: Al fresco living

iyc monaco yacht show

Making her world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show is a new all-aluminium yacht from Turkish yard Alia Yachts, SAN. The 45 m custom yacht is designed for al fresco living, with open-plan decks that blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor areas. Described as a “marvel of modern engineering and design”, she features minimalistic yet elegant styling by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and sleek naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects. From the panoramic glass windows that frame the main salon to the fold-out bulwarks on the aft deck, everything has designed to enhance the guests’ connection with the ocean.

Best for: Incredible interiors

iyc monaco yacht show

The most expensive superyacht for sale at the Monaco Yacht Show is also one of its finest. Built by Dutch yard Oceanco and sailing in fresh from an extensive three-year rebuild with upgraded design by Reymond Langton, H3 is now looking for a new guardian; for an asking price of €295 million with Edmiston. The 105 m yacht is packed full of unique amenities including a giant spa and wellness area and an impressive owner’s suite with a climate-controlled winter garden, as well as a host of elegant design features such as a waterfall. Sleeping 20 guests, H3 is said to offer the “perfect combination of design, lifestyle and accommodation”, and the industry seems to agree—she’s received myriad accolades including the Robb Report Monaco Côte d’Azur 2024 Best of the Best Award for Best Yacht Rebuild.

Best for: Conscious cruising

In a significant step towards carbon neutrality, Sanlorenzo is set to unveil 50Steel, the world’s first superyacht with a green methanol fuel cell system. The revolutionary set-up, developed with Siemens Energy, will transform green methanol into hydrogen and then into electrical energy, and will be capable of powering all the yacht’s hotel systems without storing hydrogen on board. Other special features of the 50 m yacht include a “hidden” engine room, an expandable beach club on the aft and innovative styling by Zuccon International Project—spacious, multi-level living areas have been engineered to create the feeling of open-plan living.

SERENISSIMA I

Best for: Mediterranean escapes

iyc monaco yacht show

New from Turkish yard Mengi Yay, SERENISSIMA I combines the best of Turkish craftsmanship with Italian design by Nuvolari Lenard. The custom 47 m tri-deck superyacht, which is currently on sale for an asking price of €35.8 million with Northrop & Johnson, is perfect for the sunny climate of the Med. She features a dedicated owner’s deck with a private terrace and hot tub, a spacious sundeck offering sweeping views, and amenities including a gentleman’s lounge with a cinema room, a walk-in wine cellar and al fresco entertainment spaces with glass panels that can shelter the aft from the wind while on the move. There’s also a cosy firepit for cooler evenings and plenty of water toys to keep guests entertained all day long.

ETERNAL SPARK

Best for: Form and function

iyc monaco yacht show

Eternal Spark, a standout in the Bilgin 163 series, beautifully blends elegant design with practical functionality. Featuring expansive, sheltered decks and a sleek, sporty exterior, the 50 m yacht offers ample space for entertainment and relaxation. Eternal Spark has undergone significant customisations, including an extended stern and a redesigned aft area allowing more space. Inside, the yacht features refined details including natural embossed leather, soft colours and a balanced aesthetic that stretches across six inviting cabins, sleeping 12 guests. Powered by twin 1,450 CAT engines, Eternal Spark achieves a top speed of approximately 17 knots, while maintaining low operational costs. It’s a win-win all round.

Best for: Tender viewing

iyc monaco yacht show

With so many exciting yachts on show in Port Hercules, it’s also worth jumping in a tender to explore one of the many yachts at anchor just outside the marina. One such superyacht will be Aalto, a well-maintained 80 m Oceanco yacht built in 2007 and now on sale with Burgess for €79.7 million, and for sale and charter with Edmiston, renting from €775,000 per week. A tried-and-tested family boat, she is home to a vast owner’s suite and eight guest cabins, a large sun deck with a pool and water jets, and a giant garage overflowing with toys and tenders. Her striking, angular exterior styling is by Italian firm Nuvolari Lenard and her elegant interiors, featuring surprisingly large volumes, were penned by Paris-based studio Alberto Pinto.

Best for: Classic sailing

iyc monaco yacht show

Designed by Ron Holland and built by Perini Navi, 56 m sailing yacht Fidelis perfectly blends luxury living with long-range cruising capability. Her highly contemporary interiors are spacious and elegant, while the vessel itself has proven reliability for global exploration. In fact, she’s never stopped sailing since she was delivered, voyaging along the Amazon, visiting Desolation Island and Australia, rounding both Capes, and beyond. If you’re ready for a sailing adventure like no other, Fidelis is currently on sale asking €32 million with Edmiston.

Best for: Turning heads

iyc monaco yacht show

Mould-breaking superyacht Energy pushes boundaries in more ways than one. Designed to “defy convention and find ways to connect with the ocean”, the 77.8 m vessel brought together some of Europe’s greatest talents: she was built by Dutch shipyard Amels, with Monaco-based naval architect Espen Øino drafted in to pen the exteriors, and French designer Francois Zuretti in charge of the expansive interiors. Among the highlights are seven luxurious cabins, including an owner’s deck with a private terrace, lounge and firepit; a music lounge with a Steinway piano and a marble-topped bar; and a giant beach club, wellness spa and gym with a sea terrace. Energy was custom-built for its current owner and has only been used privately since her 2022 delivery, meaning she’s almost as good as new. She’s currently for sale, asking €199 million with Burgess and Cecil Wright

NIGHT FURY II

Best for: Watching from the waves

iyc monaco yacht show

The latest launch from the Atlantique line by Columbus Yachts, owned by Palumbo Superyachts, might be its most eye-catching yet. The Atlantique 43 m Night Fury II is as fierce as its name suggests and yet manages to retain a softness, thanks to her curved shelllike external lines inspired by classic sailing. Designed by Hot Lab to an “architecture for voyagers” philosophy, the motor yacht features generous entertaining and relaxation spaces that connect the indoors and outdoors, as well as design elements that are both stylistic and functional. Designed for an owner and their family, Night Fury II is a private yacht and not available to charter, but that doesn’t stop us wanting to view her from the waves.

Best for: Italian styling

iyc monaco yacht show

Launched in July 2024, AKULA is fresh out of the Baglietto shipyard in Italy. She brings together some of the finest Italian names in the business, including Francesco Paszkowski who penned her sleek, modern, exterior lines and expansive outdoor spaces, and Enrico Gobbi’s Team For Design who styled her luxurious, versatile interiors. She cuts a commanding silhouette on the water, accented by her elegant grey hull. Highlights on board include a multi-level beach club, a spacious sun deck which is said to be the largest in its class, a pool on the main deck and a gym with a view. The yacht sleeps 12 and is available to charter from around €267,000 per week with IYC.

Best for: Long-range adventures

iyc monaco yacht show

If you’re looking for adventures further afield, the Oceano 44 could be the winning ticket. A magnificent displacement three-decker from Italian yacht builder Mangusta’s long-range line, the 44 m yacht aims to “radically reinterpret the way life at sea can be enjoyed”. Built at Overmarinroup’s manufacturing site in Pisa with design by Monaco-based designer Alberto Mancini, she creates a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor areas thanks to an extensive use of glazed surfaces. Interiors are luxurious, calming and contemporary, with the eye consistently being drawn to the ocean outside. Standout spaces in the exterior include the stunning pool, which features a partial transparent bottom that shines natural light into a full-beam owner’s suite, the beach club with fold-out terraces, and a sunbathing area surrounded by water that’s been dubbed the “island”. With an impressive range of 4,500 nautical miles and in-built stabilisers guaranteeing a comfortable cruise, the Oceano 44 could be the perfect choice for those seeking longer trips to more far-flung destinations across the globe.

WALLYWIND110

Best for: Catching the wind

Making its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, the wallywind110 will be the first launch from Monacobased Wally Yachts’ wallywind performance cruiser range. The anticipated 33.4 m vessel is set to be one of the fastest sailing yachts on the water. Slicing through the waves with her sleek bow and metallic-blue all-carbon hull, she will be impossible to miss while underway. At anchor, she remains just as captivating as she transforms into a sanctuary of relaxation and entertainment thanks to her wide decks hosting 15 people. Below deck, discover a full-beam owner’s suite with twin bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes, plus three guest cabins, a light-filled salon and an office.

Best for: Cruising in comfort

iyc monaco yacht show

One of the latest launches from Dutch shipyard Heesen, ELA is packed full of charter-friendly amenities, including luxurious suites for 12 guests, a variety of flexible interior spaces and a boatload of fun facilities such as a gym and sauna, an alfresco cinema, a spacious beach club and an on-deck hot tub. The 50 m fast displacement motor yacht is ideal for cruising in the Mediterranean or Caribbean, and stands out on the water with her sleek silhouette. Inside, guests can enjoy exceptional contemporary design from Italian designer Cristiano Gatto, while in the garage, a huge arsenal of water toys is waiting to be enjoyed. A popular charter yacht, ELA is currently for sale at €39 million with Edmiston, and available for charter from ¤250,000 per week in the winter and €300,000 in the summer with Y.CO and IYC.

RENAISSANCE

Best for: Large group charters

Accommodating up to 36 guests in 19 cabins, the 112 m superyacht Renaissance has one of the most generous capacities in the industry. Built by Spanish shipyard Freire, she’s incredibly well outfitted for chartering, offering everything guests could desire. Standout facilities include a giant spa deck with wellness, beauty and fitness areas; a stunning beach club; a large pool; a cinema seating 19; and an entertainment zone with a sushi bar, BBQ and DJ set-up. The owner’s deck, meanwhile, is simply palatial, with private fore and aft decks featuring space for private dining, a private lounge and bar, and much more. Renaissance is available for charter with Burgess from around €2.7 million per week.

100 SUNREEF POWER

Best for: Eco-conscious owners

iyc monaco yacht show

For owners looking for an eco-friendly alternative, Sunreef Yachts has the answer with its line of electric catamarans. Exhibiting at the Monaco Yacht Show is the new 100 Sunreef Power, a luxury catamaran that’s designed to embody elegance, stability and safety. The yacht, which is powered by solar panels and features entirely customisable interiors, has a generous, light-filled main salon, a full-beam al fresco lounge and dining area, and a sunken lounge in the bow area. Owners can choose to outfit her with a spa pool and level out the aft platform to create a large beach club. With the 100 Sunreef Power, the world is your oyster.

Best for: Italian design

iyc monaco yacht show

The Made in Italy moniker is personified in this striking, steel and aluminium superyacht from Italian shipyard Benetti. Featuring bespoke design by Rome-based design studio Giorgio M. Cassetta, the 67 m CALEX was entirely customised for her current owner, who took delivery in 2022. The attention to detail is inspiring and she features indoor and outdoor spaces that ensure absolute privacy and comfort, while catering to the owner’s passion for exercise and well-being—take special note of the state-of-the-art spa and fitness areas and the luxurious beach club. She’s built as an expedition yacht with an impressive range, meaning she’s perfect for taking far-flung adventures in style. She’s also wheelchair accessible and sleeps 12. Like what you see? CALEX is available to charter with Northrop & Johnson from around €624,000 per week.
