2014 North Pacific 49’ Pilothouse, MV Coast To Coast

Spacious, 2 stateroom, 2 head design. Capable, proven and well-equipped.  

Having cruised from OR to Alaska, Coast to Coast has proven to be a capable long range coastal explorer. A spacious design and layout means you can spend extended periods on board in the comfort of home. This NP49 is well equipped and maintained and ready for her next adventure. 

Coast to Coast has the a spacious salon and galley design, rivalling many vessels in the 55' range. Two recliners on the starboard side across from a drop down TV, provide the comfort of home. A large dinette can seat 6 for dinner. 

This NP49 has the popular two-stateroom, two-head/shower layout (pilothouse can act as a third stateroom). The master stateroom is forward and is built with a true queen bed with one only step on each side, making access easy. A 7' ceiling, ceiling hatch and large portholes create a feeling of spaciousness. Raised spray chines mean that there is no "chine slap" so you can enjoy a quiet night. The master stateroom has an ensuite head and shower. The guest stateroom is versatile with two single beds that can slide together to make a queen as well as a fold down bunk. 

The pilothouse is has a large L settee (convertible bed) that can act as a third stateroom. There is great visibility from the two helm seats as well as the settee. 

A large flybridge is standard on all NP49s. 

The NP49 is based on a stable semi-displacement hull, allowing for economical cruise speeds of 7-10 knots. At 7 knots, fuel use is about 3.5 GPH, at 8 knots, 5 GPH and 10 GPH at 10 knots.

I started this company because, at the heart of it all, I am a boater.  A boater who experienced a catastrophic electrical fail on my first boating voyage.  As a systems design expert, I couldn’t understand how someone could overlook the very basic, safety requirements of a marine electrical system.  It really is the heart of every boat and, simple or complicated, these systems are based on industry standards that are designed to keep you and your family safe. 

My personal philosophy has always been to do things right versus making things work.  Boat electrical systems are getting more and more complicated and these standards exist for a reason.  I believe the secret to our company’s success has been “expertise through repetition”.  We concentrate on a few things and do them over and over.  All of our technicians receive ABYC and NMEA training, updates and share tips and tricks on a daily basis.  It is this concentrated approach that makes us specialists in the industry. We live for this stuff.

What exactly is a yacht? Just like everyone’s home is their castle, we believe everyone’s boat is their yacht, so we define a yacht as any pleasure craft not used commercially. From a 14’ aluminum skiff to an ocean-crossing trawler, if it’s a pleasure craft, it’s a yacht.

Do you sell brand new boats? We don’t. We specialize in locating and selling new-to-you yachts, but we’re not a dealer for any specific brand.

Do you provide support for assessing boat condition? Absolutely. We work with reliable surveyors and mechanics who will help you make informed decisions when both buying and selling your boat.

Do you take my boat out with potential purchasers? No. We only leave the dock when there is a signed Yacht Purchase and Sales agreement and we have received a 10% deposit.
