Great getaway from our busy life down the mountain. Beautiful course and all the amenities are top notch! Excellent drinks and menus at their Pub and Restaurant!
Beautiful golf course with two lakes on the property, the country club is nice and they offer a nice variety of food. Quality of the service is nice as well. The "who is who" in Lake Arrowhead has membership here since it is $ 50,000 per year. Yes, it is a private golf course. Sometimes they have charity events and "high end" golf competitions. If you know someone take advantage of golfing here. You can have lunch at the club house without membership, nice place for breakfast, brunch in the weekend or lunch.
Very nice private golf course
DISAPPOINTED. Where do I even start. Maybe I can start with the starter cussing me out for an issue that was on their end. They overbooked the course, and then proceeded to cuss out the customer and pin the blame on us. Just wow. Sad. Not to mention they ran out of golf carts. What am I supposed to do??? Bring my bike to get around?????? NO. I do not appreciate the use of the f word and GD. Especially not with teenage children around. These people should be embarrassed by the lack of character and respect they displayed today. I guess this is just Biden's America. Sad sad day. Just wanted to play some golf and not be treated like this. Sad. Just SAD.
Home away from home everyone is so pleasant Clean excellent wine selections and of course delicious food and freshest air we love coming in Thank you everyone we love you
Great food, great atmosphere! Our bartender Alyssa rocked it!! Awesome service, fun and on point with our food and drinks! 5 stars and 2 .
beautiful facility we had a tour and the staff is so nice. great place if you love golf! very elegant changing areas and facilities.
During our first visit to the Arrowhead area, some friends took us to the Country Club for lunch. The restaurant was empty other than 3 nice, older gentleman who appeared to be enjoying a post-golfing bite to eat. The lack of patrons worried me a bit. Service was very friendly and prompt. The food turned out to be quite good. I had the blue cheese burger and it was amazing. Everyone (including the kids) was full and satisfied. Apparently the ownership has changed a few times over the years and so has quality. I can safely say the current owners know what they're doing and we'd be happy to return and eat here again. 4 stars!
Hosted by our 2 great friends, we were delighted to enjoy mega side dishes (a very unique potato salad, Brussel sprout salad) and a gorgeous , large, perfectly made sandwich of sourdough bread with turkey and all the fresh fixings. . Really surprised at the presentation. High up on the mountain, loads of twists and turns, but worth the views and a great place to stop for a nosh. Cheers!.
OK as a past member of this club I am going to give you the real scoop that I did not get when I bought my membership. Understand that I bought my membership for golf only. Did not care about what social events were offered or how good the food was so my comments will be slanted in the direction of golf life quality. Here are the pros and cons Pros: The club staff are great. They go out of their way to make you feel like they truly want you to experience the top level of service, kindness and professionalism. The general manager is awesome and I really enjoyed getting to know him. The golf course is great, BUT, only from June 1st through September. So for 4 months you cannot beat it. But prior to June 1st there are problems with the weather which will still be cold and usually windy. Because of the harsh winter it takes the maintenance crew up until June to get the playing surface in good shape. Beginning October 1st a lot of the maintenance crew is laid off so naturally the quality of the grounds begins to deteriorate. Cons: As previously mentioned you only get about 4 months of quality golf so it is certainly a "part time" golf course. I was told when I joined that there was a men's club that golfed on a regular basis. That is not true. There is NO men's club. I tried to start one and it was a horrible failure. Nobody supported it. Oh there are some groups who play together but nothing substantial. Also there are only about 4 or 5 men's tournaments for the entire year. Yes it is true. Very little opportunity to compete is such events. There are a couple of "couples tournaments" each year but that's it. It really is a shame because the golfing events they do have are really nice and done well but because of the bad weather and lack of interest that is just the way it is. I must say there is a pretty active women's club and although very small they are active and have done very well in competition. Again however this is a very part time group and is nothing like the clubs down the mountain. The food is average at best. My wife and I forced ourselves to eat there because we had to meet our minimum requirement. In 2 years we figured we had maybe 2 or 3 good meals. Also because of the part time nature of the club the only time the restaurant operates in full swing is again from June through September. Other than that dining opportunities are limited. Understand that I loved the club from June through September but hated paying full dues the other 8 months. Hope this helps you because it is all true.....
I tried to apply for a position as a server, but as I approached the front desk the brunette receptionist left me standing there so long without greeting me or telling me she'd be right with me, I ended up just taking a seat. 5 minutes later she said," Can I help you,?" While I was trying to explain that I was there to apply for a job,she cuts me off and hands me a clipboard. Because the add said to apply in person, I asked if the hiring manager would be able to see me today. The reply was ,"I don't know, he is in meetings." As I was filling out the application, she walked out without saying a word to me and did not return. I peeked through two other office doors looking for assistance but no one was there. Other people came through the door and were looking around helpless. No "Out for lunch" sign, or anything. I left my application and resume on the desk. I intended on applying as a server, but I'd be more than happy to replace your current receptionist with a warm, welcoming, more efficient one. Hopefully you received my information...Other than that, seems like a great place!
