The award winning 41m/134'6" motor yacht 'Envy' (ex. Xenia) was built by Lurssen in Germany at their Friedrichshafen shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Patrick Knowles and she was delivered to her owner in January 1995. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Jorg Biederbeck and she was last refitted in 2023.

Guest Accommodation

Envy has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Her features include underwater lights, WiFi and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V396TB94) 3,432hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots with a range of up to 1,600 nautical miles from her 37,400 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Envy features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 7,500 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules.

A refit was done in 2014 full refit. The yacht layout features 4 cabins and accommodates 8 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 2 king cabins, 2 queen cabins.

Crew Information

Captain: Matthew Mullins

Matt and Tara are an experienced and energetic couple, with a diverse range of skills both above and below the water. They are a highly motivated, self-organised couple with an eye for detail and the desire to ensure their guests have the vacation of a lifetime. They love helping guests discover the amazing waters of the British Virgin Islands through snorkelling and diving; Tara has been a diving instructor since 2001, and she really enthuses about the local fish and their habitats, sharing her knowledge with guests. Tara is a highly qualified chef, having spent two years in one of London's top catering colleges, followed by 10 years working in some of the top restaurants and hotels in London. Wanting to travel she became a diving instructor and started exploring the world. Tara has now have found a way to combine her two passions: cooking and the ocean. As a result of her training, when faced with issues like food intolerance or allergies, she can quickly produce suitable alternatives without inconveniencing the customer. Tara really enjoys creating new menus and experimenting with new dishes, in order to provide her guests with a fantastic culinary experience. Matt is an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster with over ten years professional experience sailing the waters of Australia, BVI, Italy and the UK. He enjoys meeting new guests and dealing with any interesting challenges over the years. He loves being involved on deck and in the water, as well as exploring new places and cultures.

They love helping guests discover the amazing waters of the British Virgin Islands through snorkelling and diving; Tara has been a diving instructor since 2001, and she really enthuses about the local fish and their habitats, sharing her knowledge with guests. Tara is a highly qualified chef, having spent two years in one of London's top catering colleges, followed by 10 years working in some of the top restaurants and hotels in London. Wanting to travel she became a diving instructor and started exploring the world. Tara has now have found a way to combine her two passions: cooking and the ocean. As a result of her training, when faced with issues like food intolerance or allergies, she can quickly produce suitable alternatives without inconveniencing the customer. Tara really enjoys creating new menus and experimenting with new dishes, in order to provide her guests with a fantastic culinary experience. Matt is an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster with over ten years professional experience sailing the waters of Australia, BVI, Italy and the UK. Wanting to travel she became a diving instructor and started exploring the world. Tara has now have found a way to combine her two passions: cooking and the ocean. Bavaria vision 46.

The Bavaria Vision 46 has been designed, from the start, to embody the cruising sailor’s wish list. From the cockpit to the saloon to the cabins, a VISION adapts to every requirement, whether this is a cosy cruise for two or taking a party of friends out. What is striking about this boat is the attention to detail, and the endless list of thoughtful features, some high-tech, and some are just common sense, executed simply and elegantly. The Vision’s many unique comfort and handling features combine with elegant interiors, Farr Yacht Design engineering for fast and comfortable passages, and the premium build quality and finish found in all Bavaria Yachts. All combined, this stunning boat is sure to draw attention wherever she drops her hook.

Bavaria Vision 46 – Accomodation

The forward main cabin and en suite is a one-piece unit, with island style queen bed. To aft of the ship, on the port side is an unusually wide twin cabin equipped with two single berths. The bathroom is accessible from the main salon and is divided into separate toilet/shower cubicles. There is a large door in the shower’s rear bulkhead. This provides walk-in access to the second aft cabin. The offset companionway allows for a spacious galley area to please even the most professional of chefs. This comprises a dishwashing island mounted on the centre line, immediately at the bottom of the companionway steps. It houses twin sinks, with a cleverly-designed drying rack higher up and aft, built into the bulkhead. The rest of the galley lies to port. Covers over the cooker and sinks, allow plenty of workbench area for food preparation. That drying rack helps to free up space, too. With the galley and its island wash-up area efficiently using the aft end of the saloon, the designers of this Bavaria Vision 46 could afford to let their creative juices flow for the rest of the area. The saloon table can be lowered electrically to create a large lounger/daybed. This would also be a good berth for additional crew. On the port settee, the centre section hides a decent-sized chart table which slides up from a recess. It’s an easy, quick conversion. The two settee sections fore and aft of the chart table are movable – they’re best described as ottomans. Moved to the saloon table, they become two separate seats or a single bench seat for extra dining. Masses of ambient light and ventilation floods in through large saloon windows and overhead hatches.

Bavaria Vision 46 – On Deck

The unique cockpit design with offset companionway allows for a large port cockpit table that is electrically lowered and convertible to a day/lounging bed – which creates a true living cockpit. Every instrument essential for navigation and control is within easy reach. With a perfect view of the deck and sail trim, the Bavaria vision 46 can literally be sailed with the fingertips. The bathing platform can be lowered manually to easily access the water edge and it features a refreshing shower. Primary Lewmar 55 winches on the cockpit coaming are within arm’s length of the helmsman, and with the German mainsheet system, trimming from either side is easy. Because each of the primaries has a battery of jammers in nearby attendance, swapping the mainsheet for a jib sheet is quick and simple. The sleek decks are enhanced by flush-fitting hatches and the below-deck jib furling drum which gives it good protection from the elements.

Xenia Fleet: Crewed Yacht Charters on Virgin Islands

Small, medium and large size boats, all Privilege catamarans make up the Xenia Fleet. Xenia 50 , Xenia 62 and Xenia 74 are all heading down island this summer. If you have set your sights on a summer vacation with family or friends, it is not too early to book. Like birds migrate, so do many charter yachts . Some go to the Mediterranean but the Caribbean boats head south in July. This leaves fewer quality boat crews in the Virgin Islands. The talented team on Xenia 62 are one of many who are heading to the Grenadines .

Captain Matt is a RYA/MCA Yachtmaster 200 ton, a sailing instructor and rescue diver. His sailing background locations include Australia, Italy and the UK before leading 15 boat flotillas in the BVI in 2011. After pairing up with Tara (clearly the better half) life changed. The food was so much better! A qualified chef, Tara trained for 2 years in a top culinary college – City and Guilds in the UK, followed by 10 more years working in high end English palate pleasers. A PADIi Divemaster and videographer, Tara crafted this fun video “Tales of Down Island”. Check out the green monkey on her shoulder, not too far from the Grenada Chocolate factory.

The trending destination is the Grenadines this summer. It is best sail north to south. Try embarking at Young Island in St Vincent and stop at some of the 32 islands on the way to Grenada. Divers will be wowed in Grenada with a leisurely shallow dive in the first underwater sculpture park in the world. The circle of cement statues are more colorful now with 14 years natural growth of marine life covering them. Subsequent picture-worthy statues have been added since. Known as the Spice Island you might see carpets of nutmegs drying in the sun, visit the Botanical Gardens or a historic Fort.

Sharon Bahmer

Sharon Bahmer, is Luxury Charter Group's USA Senior Charter Executive, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The majority of her clients are resident in the USA; however she also has an extensive international clientele who desire charter destinations primarily in the Caribbean, Bahamas, USA and Mediterranean.

With three decades of experience across the complete spectrum of luxury yacht charters to her credit, Sharon's talents sit comfortably with the Luxury Charter Group's ethos – to create the perfect match between client, charter vessel and destinations.

Her life has always been associated with the sea. Sharon has cruised considerable distances under sail, even crossing the Atlantic from her native South Africa to Brazil on a small yacht, and subsequently voyaging to the most beautiful islands and destinations in the Caribbean. This lifestyle is so deeply entrenched that quite often she spends her vacations aboard sail and motor yachts, visiting far-flung, exciting and romantic destinations.

Sharon's professional standing within the luxury yacht charter industry in America sees her as a Board member of the International Group, the Charter Yacht Brokers Association (CYBA). She was previously Chair of that group's Education Sub-committee, a unit which has as its goal the education of charter brokers about issues and trends across the industry. Sharon is also a member in good standing of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association, and a proud member of MYBA, the worldwide association of Charter Brokers.

Radek Gendek

Radek Gendek is Luxury Charter Group's Senior Charter Executive in Europe where he manages the company's presence to best serve our European clients.

Radek was born in Gdansk, Poland, the home of several renowned shipyards including Conrad, Galeon and Sunreef Yachts.

He divided his college education between Universities in France and Poland. After obtaining his Master's degree, Radek returned to Gdansk and worked for Sunreef Yachts for several years as Director of the Charter and Management department, growing those parts of the business for the esteemed brand.

A firm believer in growth through building personal relationships based on respect and results, Radek offers clients the benefits of his 15 years’ experience in superyacht charter, management and sales.

Most recently, Radek was responsible for the acquisition and construction of the largest yacht ever built in Poland, 44.5m M/Y ACE, whose owner had chartered with Radek for over a decade to all corners of the world.

ACE is a prime example of how the relationship built with a dedicated broker is the foundation of the purchase and construction of a dream superyacht. When making the leap from charter to ownership, there is no better guide to accompany you every step of the process, from concept to delivery.

Joanna Kozak

Joanna Kozak is a valued member of the Luxury Charter Group team based in Europe. A member of the international professional Charter Brokers' associations of MYBA and CYBA, Joanna is fluent in English and Polish.

Joanna has travelled extensively, exploring most of Europe's key charter destinations including the South of France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey and the Spanish coast, as well as the islands of the Caribbean. As a professional charter broker Joanna brings this experience to add value providing her clients with highly personalised luxury yacht charters.

Joanna’s charter experience stems from 10 years in roles in the industry moving up the ranks to managing a fleet of 20 luxury charter yachts, for a major international yacht builder, before joining Luxury Charter Group.

“The variety of people we work with clients, yacht owners, and industry colleagues is exciting and I am always learning. I love that each day is different and brings new challenges!”

Joanna's favourite charter destination is Greece, “for the great food, fantastic people and rich culture”, and being a nature lover, Joanna hopes to one day visit the Galapagos and Antarctica.

Rebecca Montgomery

Rebecca has been working within the Charter industry for as long as she can remember. The daughter of the CEO of an international yachting company Rebecca rose through the ranks covering every facet of administration, marketing and client service.

Xenia Bregianni

French-born Xenia was raised in Greece and from a young age enjoyed travel and the coastal lifestyle.

Xenia has been in the charter business for 10 years, and prior to that, was an accomplished and formally trained jeweller, working in Greece and New York.

In 2012, she followed her passion for the sea and embraced a career in charter.

After obtaining her sailing license and various qualifications and certificates, she started her yachting career and within two years, was offered a permanent crew position on board one of the most successful catamarans in Greece – SERENITY.

Recognised for her skills and client service prowess, Xenia made the passage on the yacht from France to Greece and remained on board for eight years, rising to a senior role of managing and running the yacht’s maintenance.

In 2022, Serenity was sold, and Xenia took the opportunity to pursue a different path within the charter industry, joining Luxury Charter Group as a Broker. Over the many years, the team at LCG had worked closely with Xenia and admired her expertise and professionalism.

During her decade aboard charter yachts, Xenia developed a genuine ability to communicate with charter guests and cater to their needs and their vision of the ideal charter.

“Chartering a yacht is more than a sightseeing trip around the islands,” she says. “It is about stepping out of routine, leaving the constraints of normal life onshore, experiencing new destinations in privacy and comfort, reconnecting with and creating memories among family and friends.”

An expert on charter around the Greek Islands, Xenia knows that an important part of the guest experience is fascinating itineraries and insight into new cultures, which means that every charter is unique no matter the destination.

Xenia speaks four languages: French, Greek, English fluently, and Spanish, and brings to LCG her unrivalled knowledge of the myriad Greek Islands, itineraries to recommend based on weather conditions, a local’s repertoire of authentic Greek experiences, and her ability to match suitable yachts and crew for her clients.

Emily is Luxury Charter Group’s charter broker, and valued Team member based in USA, attending to our Clients in North and South America with professionalism, expertise and dedication.

Emily's commitment extends beyond her role at Luxury Charter Group she actively contributes to the charter industry's growth. Her influential presence on various Charter Association boards, including her 11-year tenure at CYBA, where she recently steered the association through the challenging times of COVID as President, demonstrates her leadership and commitment. She is currently Acting Secretary of AYCA (American Yacht Charter Association).

With 20 years’ experience in the charter industry, Emily has earned a reputation for working with guests to successfully craft their ideal charter vacations by matching them with yacht and crew, and with itineraries in their preferred destinations.

Over the past two decades, her reward for diligent and perceptive work is client feedback that attests to her insight. “When guests let me know that they felt well cared for and well matched with their vacation, or when crew let me know they couldn't have asked for a better fit in terms of guests … these are the highlights.”

Emily has had a lifelong love of the sea and all it offers. In fact, Emily and her family live so close to the ocean, they can smell the salt air from their front door.

Her diverse background includes roles in special education, lobstering, oystering, and marine resource assistance, showcasing her versatility and dedication to maritime pursuits.

“A career in the charter industry found me in a way,” she says. “I was not aware that this was a ‘thing’ when at age 24, I applied for a position and was trained from the ground up by one of the most respected brokers for Caribbean Charters at the time. I fell in love immediately with getting to know the boats and crews and using that knowledge to match guests to an unforgettable experience.”

“Charter vacations are unique in their scope and diversity”, Emily says.

“Having the flexibility to explore so much of a region while keeping the comfort and security (and convenience) of the same accommodation is unparalleled. An avid traveller, Emily has explored the US and Caribbean, and parts of Europe including Switzerland, Italy, Greece, the Bahamas and Belize. “I spent a month touring through Poland in an exchange of young professionals’ program sponsored by Rotary. I also had an outstanding trip sailing through the Swedish Archipelago. I love travel, I am a voracious reader, enjoy cooking and boxing, and getting outside with my family.”

As a seasoned traveller, Emily brings a wealth of experiences to her role that fuels her dedication to creating memorable experiences for all her clients.

Both professionally and privately Chrisy’s life has revolved around yachting for nearly 40-years. Chrisy is a valuable member of our Team and is dedicated to ensuring you achieve your dream charter experience.

Most remarkably Chrisy, from New Zealand, made an epic 17-year world circumnavigation aboard her own yacht. Chrisy’s incredible journey took her to many amazing places we dream about, including most charter destinations around the world. Her first-hand cruising experience gives her an appreciation about the many aspects of life onboard a luxury yacht and achieving the optimum charter experience. Chrisy relishes sharing this unique wealth of knowledge with our Clients.

Her professional experiences in the industry are many and varied, beginning with managing a charter company in New Zealand, yacht sales brokerages in Turkey, Mallorca and New Zealand, crewing on board yachts as a stewardess, and also in New Zealand as VIP/Hospitality Manager for two of the Volvo Ocean Race Auckland stopovers.

Chrisy’s role within Luxury Charter Group includes providing personalised itineraries to our clients, and background stories about charter destinations and luxury yachts. Among her administration duties are managing the website and being PA to Managing Director, Jeni Tidmarsh.
