This was my 12th trip with them in the 20 years that I have been visiting Puerto Rico. The captain and the crew are exceptional in their service and friendly demeanor. The variety of drinks was great and the food tasty and well planned out for a day on the ocean. I completely recommend this day trip to anybody visiting the island. Recently booked a snorkeling tour to Icacos and it was amazing. The prices were fair and they were able to provide transportation from Viejo San Juan for an additional cost. The crew was amazing and took care of us. They were very attentive and they kept the drinks coming. The water conditions weren’t the best for snorkeling but they did their best to find us s spot. Accessing the beach required to swim from the boat. It wasn’t ideal but made it fun. I intend to book again on my next trip to PR. Next time it’ll be Culebra. Keep up the good work. I would love to hear more reguetón and more Latin music next time.

We went out to flamingo Island owned by Puerto Rico. It was absolutely beautiful. The captain And his crew were delightful. The lunch was delicious and they kept the drinks rolling in. The captain even had a specialty drink, called the Jellyfish. They made the experience fun and memorable. The Katarina Catamaran is moored in Rincon. You will need to board a small watercraft from the Balneario of Rincon, which transports you to the bigger boat.

The spot chosen for snorkeling was just amazing. Flamenco beach is definitely a must. But what made a difference is the awesome Sail Getaways crew. All of them were super attentive and nice with us. Was all of our first time and it was so beautiful and fun. We got to see a barracuda, big jellyfish and a bunch of other little fish. My friend and I took the tour to Tamarindo and Flamenco beach and it was amazing. The weather was perfect which made the ride super smooth. We were a fortunate group to enjoy a beautiful day. Great quick getaway for our group of 13. Quick boat ride to snorkel, excellent fish viewing and lunch. Then a quick boat ride to Flamenco Beach to wander around. The staff was friendly, knowledgable, and patient.
We took the three-in-one catamaran getaway on New Year's Day with Omar and Arturo. Our group was 2 adults a 9 year old and a 5 year old. All of us had an amazing time. Do I need a licence to rent a catamaran in Puerto Rico on Sailo?
No, you do not need a license to rent a boat on Sailo as long as you are renting a private catamaran charter in Puerto Rico with a captain included. There are two types of boat rentals and yacht charters available on our website: bareboat and captained charters. If you rent a bareboat yacht, then your charter comes without any crew, and you or someone in your group will need a license. The boat owner will require you to upload the boating resume or license of the person who will drive the boat. Most of our boat owners might also like to test your boating skills before you take your bareboat charter out on the water. When you charter a yacht with a captain included or add the captain and/or crew as an extra to your sailing adventure, then a certified skipper will be provided.

Animaos a disfrutar de una travesía por la costa de Puerto Rico a bordo de un catamarán desde el que podréis divisar cómodamente los cautivadores paisajes del sur de Gran Canaria.  Tras pasar a recogeros por vuestro hotel del sur de Gran Canaria , nos desplazaremos en autobús hasta el muelle de Puerto Rico , donde zarparemos a bordo del catamarán Afrikat 69 . La embarcación, de 21 metros de eslora y capacidad para 69 personas , dispone de un servicio de barra libre a bordo que incluye agua, café, zumos, refrescos, cervezas y sangría. Además, cuenta con una zona de solárium para que podáis broncearos mientras navegamos por la costa de Puerto Rico, en el litoral suroccidental de Gran Canaria . A mitad de trayecto, el catamarán efectuará una parada. Durante dos horas, os daremos la posibilidad de realizar diferentes actividades acuáticas. Si os apetece, podréis disfrutar de un paseo en lancha rápida , pilotar una moto de agua, utilizar el equipo de snorkel o, incluso, hacer parasailing. Para reponer fuerzas, cargaremos las pilas con un almuerzo a bordo compuesto de wrap de pollo con guarnición de ensalada y chips o verduras salteadas para vegetarianos. Después de comer, descansemos en la cubierta del barco antes de poner rumbo hacia Puerto Rico. Desde allí, regresaremos por carretera a vuestro alojamiento.
