Dockside Boat & Bed

A bed and breakfast on boats.

Staycation is a beautiful 48' Meridian motor yacht located at the end of our dock with sweeping views of the marina, Queen Mary, Light House and Shoreline Village. 

Upon entering thru the mid-deck, you descend into the spacious and well appointed salon with double windows stretching the length of the room to allow for plenty of sunlight and for showcasing the magnificent views. With two large couches , there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the DirectTV.  The entire boat also features central climate control.  

The galley kitchen is just 2 steps down from the salon with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.  The galley is also appointed with glasses, dishware and silverware for your use.  Forward of the galley is the very comfortable guest suite with queen bed and it's own bathroom with bathroom and shower. 

The primary bedroom in the rear of the yacht features a queen size walk around bed, ample closet storage and its own en-suite bathroom and shower.  The primary also enjoys access to the rear aft deck- a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while you take in the views.  

The Staycation also enjoys plenty of outdoor space.  The mid-deck features a wet bar and seating for 4. The upper fly bridge offers the best views of the area with plenty of seating for 6.  Then there is also the rear open air deck off the master.  

Sleeps up to 4 guests 

All rates are for 2 guests, additional guests (unless children 5 or younger) are $25 ea.  Please note, unless otherwise requested, our staff only prepares the primary stateroom for 2 guests.

I had a wonderful experience staying on the Minnow! The boat was pristine and well appointed. The harbor is secure, and my sister and I felt very safe during our stay. Shaun is a consummate professional. She was happy to answer my many questions and provide recommendations on what to do in the area. There are a ton of Shelter Island restaurants and bars within walking distance of the harbor. This was hands down a fantastic, restorative experience. Nothing says vacation like waking up on the water with beautiful views of the ocean surrounding you. I will definitely be back to stay with BoatBnB again!

We stayed with Boat BNB twice, and both times for a week. First time on General Yacht and recently on Goode Karma. I will add some pictures below. My bestie and I love to be on a water and living in hot Vegas it's really dreamy to us. Both boats were about 52 ft, 3 BD, 2BTH. Both decks have the most amazing views. Shaun is such pleasure to work with! Overall, super friendly staff, very clean, fantastic location with yummy restaurants around. Looking forward to rent it again. Thank you, BOATBNB!

This gem of a find fulfilled my fantasy of staying on a luxury sailboat with my beautiful wife (alas without bikini) overnight. Best $250 I ever spent. Get a look at the view from the back bedroom rear porthole windows!! I love the look of varnished wood throughout, and the layout inside was hugh. I would buy this in a heartbeat if God granted me the money to do so. Did you know Hollywood used the Slipaway in a full length movie?

Stayed on the Why Knot last year and was Not disappointed. The boat was clean and stocked with breakfast goodies. The outdoor furniture provided gave us a comfortable area to relax and enjoy the ocean air and boat living experience. We will definitely be back again!

Such a relaxing time on a very nice boat. The BnB was really nicely prepared and provided more than we expected. It was in a great location to amazing restaurants and of course a great city. would highly recommend staying here as we will be back!!

We stayed on the Minnow for 3 nights and had a amazing adventure. The boat was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the furnishings made for a relaxing experience. Shaun was great to work with when booking and checking onto the boat. We have already booked another stay for the near future. We were able to see all 8 boats while we were in San Diego and they were all beautiful, clean and well maintained.

Wonderful getaway experience - better than any waterfront hotel or condo. The boats are in perfect condition, the amenities are first class, from immaculate linens to fresh fruit baskets. Everything about the experience was positive - location is in a secure harbor with free parking surrounded by beautiful watercraft, clean ocean water, shore birds, views of the San Diego skyline. The Staff is knowledgeable and expert, knowing how to take care of both the boats and the guests. Nearby neighborhood gourmet restaurants and ocean front walks along the adjacent shoreline. Compared to an onshore hotel, this is waterfront living (for a getaway experience) at its very best.

So much fun! I wish they were in Florida so we could do it when we travel there. You won't be disappointed. we stayed 4th of July and they fireworks were shot off right next to us. so fun!

Great time. This was our second time staying on the same boat. Perfect location to beach, restaurants and bars. Shaun is an excellent host and is a broker if you need a boat! Nice touch with fresh orange juice and fruit for our stay.
