Everything was great from start to finish. Booking online was simple and you can fill out the waivers online ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Very nice for a friends outing or date night! We went late afternoon/early evening and it's still pretty hot (late June) but once we took off it was cooler with a breeze. Enjoy the ride and take in great views along the Potomac. It's BYOB and you can connect your music to the boat's Bluetooth. Overall great time and our driver Jafari waited for us even though we were late. Make sure to use your phone for accurate directions, you'll walk though a tall gate past an office to get to the docks. We got a Little confused at first.

A tiny pod on a tiny boat trying to celebrate a protracted Halloween, we wondered how we can show off our cute outfits but also stay safe and distant....enter....Yachtsy. What do you do in the time of COVID-19 when you want to be out with friends, not pay a billion dollars at a bar where you can only be seated with so many people, enjoy the weather, and do something a little bit different? You rent a boat with Yachtsy. It was super easy to set up, the boat driver was right on time and super polite and you never got the feeling that he was wishing he were somewhere else. Its BYOB, which, how can you beat that!? and you can bring your own munchies. This was a great time and everyone in my group said we needed to do it again once it cooled down. Def check it out.

More than just a diving centre, our facilities include lecture room and all diving facilities within walking distance of the harbour and village area.

We do half day and full day tours with our fleet of modern sailing boats, the Fastnet Rock Tour Day tour first stops on the beautiful Cape Clear Island for around two to three hours before heading out to Fastnet Rock Lighthouse itself.

For diving, we provide all the necessary diving equipment. However, if you have your own equipment, you are welcome to use it. For sailing, we provide the necessary safety equipment and boats.

What are the qualifications of your instructors?

Our instructors are highly trained and experienced professionals in their respective fields .  They hold PADI and RYA certifications and have extensive knowledge to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.

We have had many repeat visits to Baltimore Diving Centre. John goes above and beyond in making sure that our dives are safe and enjoyable. His local knowledge, expertise, and well-maintained boats and equipment all contribute to a fantastic diving experience. Highly recommended.

Baltimore Diving is a family-run business in Co Cork, Ireland. I have been diving for 30 years and found the owner/skipper to be one of the very best. John Kearney leads the Co Cork Underwater Search and Rescue team and also is cox on the local lifeboat, so be assured you are diving with someone who knows what he is doing. John goes out of his way to make sure you have a great holiday. The diving, wildlife and the countryside are all top quality. Chorley BSAC highly recommends John and Baltimore Diving to our fellow divers.

We sailed with John and had one of the most memorable experiences. John shared his local knowledge and expertise with us and showed how to operate a sailboat safely. We learnt about wind, weather and tides. The best part was seeing the wildlife in silence, we could hear the whales and dolphins breathing and the noise the wild birds made. It was truly a magical experience that we will never forget.

I have worked with John Kearney and the Baltimore Diving setup in both a professional and personal manner over many years and I have to say that John is one of the most knowledgeable and easygoing dive providers I have ever encountered. A fantastic setup with some of the best diving in southwest Ireland on his doorstep assuring a great diving experience whatever the weather allows. I cannot recommend him highly enough and we will certainly be using Baltimore Diving again in the future.
