Guest Accommodation

Aetea has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Aetea is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V4000M53) 1,380hp engines running at 1800rpm, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 2,500 nautical miles from her 46,180 litre fuel tanks at 14 knots. Her water tanks store around 21,020 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.

The motor yacht AETEA is a 41 m 134 (foot) spacious steel ship which was built at Picchiotti (Perini Navi Group) and her design plans were devised by Arthur Defever. The balanced motor yacht was created from the naval architecture of Arthur Defever. Bob Byron produced her interior design brief.

The Building & Yacht Design for Luxury Yacht AETEA

Arthur Defever was the naval architect firm involved in the professional vessel design work for AETEA. Her interior design was realised by Bob Byron. Arthur Defever is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Built by Picchiotti (Perini Navi Group) the vessel was completed in the known yacht building country Italy. She was successfully launched in Viareggio in 1981 before being handed over to the owner. Her hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made for the most part with aluminium. With a beam of 7.83 m / 25.7 feet AETEA has moderate size. A fairly shallow draught of 2.5m (8.2ft) determines the amount of worldwide ports she can enter into, contingent on their minimum characteristics.

Powered by twin MTU diesel engines, AETEA can reach a top speed of 18 knots. For propulsion AETEA has twin screw propellers. She also has an economical range of 4200 nautical miles whilst underway at her cruising speed of 16 knots. Her total HP is 3470 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2553. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she utilises Vosper.
