Crew Profiles: Captain Guy Seymour: Guy was raised on a farm in South Africa outside of Durban. Growing up, any chance Guy and his family had, they would make trips to their cottage on the rugged, yet majestic Wild Coast. After graduating from University, Guy was a successful Account and Sales Manager but, craved adventure and travel. He joined the yachting industry in 2011 and has since proved to be a great asset. Early on, Guy was determined to become a Captain and has worked hard for the last 10 years to achieve that goal. He has travelled many of the world’s waters during this time including the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska and New England. Guy warmly welcomes you on board Doña Lola and is looking forward to ensuring your time is spent safely and enjoyably. Please ask him for anything you may require.

First Mate Stephen Fleming Stephen, also known as Steve, was born in the small country town of Camper Down in Australia. Steve was a farm boy by birth but, a sailor by passion. He gravitated towards sailing after school and took 2 years sailing around the world. During this adventure, he quickly came to realize a career in sailing was possible. Steve has worked on a variety of yachts both motor and sail. One of his most recent jobs was working in Mexico onboard a Sea Shepard vessel protecting marine wildlife. Aside from sailing, Steve also enjoys the outdoors and travelling on his Triumph motorcycle. Steve would like to warmly welcome you on board Doña Lola and hopes you enjoy your time. Chief Engineer Lance Howden Lance grew up on a farm in South Africa. He spent a large portion of his childhood fishing or riding motorbikes with his elder brother and father. After grade school, Lance studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape of South Africa. He graduated in 2015 with honours and immediately decided that he wanted to pursue a career on board super yachts. Lance holds his Y4 and is a qualified Mechanical Engineer. He has various interests and hobbies including fishing, wakeboarding, motorbike riding, scuba diving and golf when he gets ashore. Lance has worked on various yachts in the Bahamas, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean and is now happy to welcome you onboard Motor Yacht Doña Lola. Feel free to ask him for assistance at any time.

Chef John Ruben Valcarenghi Ruben was born in a small town in the Alps of Italy. Growing up, Ruben’s mother dreamed of him being an accountant but, his passions led him into the heart of the kitchen. Ruben began his career as a chef working in restaurants and hotels in the Alps and spent 3 years working in the Danieli Hotel Venice. After 6 years of experience on land, Ruben got the opportunity to work on board World travelling cruise ships. He worked for over 8 years on circumnavigating ships, stopping everywhere from South America, Asia, South Africa and more. On board, the ship, Ruben met a Turkish President who invited him to be a personal chef. He worked on both the yacht and his villa for 2 years. In 1999, craving life at sea again, Ruben pursued a career as a yacht chef. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Lake Coma, Italy. With his wealth of knowledge in all things, food, be assured that every meal you have onboard will be memorable and tailored to your unique requirements.

Chief Stewardess Samantha Tester Throughout Samantha’s life travel and adventure have been prevalent. She was born in Germany and grew up in North Carolina. Weekends and holidays were spent either hiking in the mountains or on the coast fishing, surfing and boating. After graduating high school in Charlotte, N.C., Samantha’s love for the sea brought her to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she graduated with her Bachelors in Business. Some of her hobbies include hiking, photography, and scuba diving. Samantha’s passion for people, travel and the desire to give the highest level of service will make your stay on Doña Lola an unforgettable one.

Second Stewardess Chelsea Keenan Chelsea was raised in Central California. After grade school, she attended San Diego State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. She always had a strong desire to travel and learn about other cultures which lead her to live in New Zealand for a year. She naturally gravitated towards yachting 2 years ago and has sailed throughout the East Coast of the USA, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and reading. Chelsea hopes you enjoy your time onboard, please feel free to ask for any assistance you may require.

Deckhand Kari Morgan Kari was born and raised in San Diego, California. She attended university at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she competed on the women’s rowing team and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business. After working a couple of years in marketing she decided to quit her office job and take off travelling. While living in Australia, she learned how to dive and became a scuba diving instructor while working on the Great Barrier Reef. She has also spent time backpacking through Southeast Asia, exploring Eastern Europe, and working a season as a ski instructor in the Rocky Mountains. Kari has always had a deep love for the ocean and looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for marine life and keen sense of adventure with you for an unforgettable stay onboard Doña Lola.

Charter Rates

Luxury Crewed Charter Rates

The Horizon Yacht Charters BVI Crewed Charter rates are for 7 nights per vessel and are based on the number of guests. Please see individual yacht pages for detailed specifications and charter rates. Horizon Yacht Charters luxury crewed yacht charters come complete with your own personal Captain & Chef (and in the larger yachts, first mate and hostess).  NB some yachts may be skipper only (with the option of a chef) – they are stated as such. Your meals aboard are included in the rate and prepared to your group’s individual preferences and dietary requirements. Beverages are also included but please note special requests for specific brands may be subject to an additional charge.  Watersports equipment (such as paddleboards, kayaks etc) are also included and some yachts offer all-inclusive diving.

High season rates typically apply from December to April, and Low season from May to November, but please do check the seasonal rates for your yacht.

Each individual crewed yacht may charge for certain additional expenses (e.g. National Park Permit, Cruising permit, different port collections or departures).  Please ask for a full breakdown of costs for your chosen yacht. Additional supplements may apply at Christmas and New Year.

All yachts come with tenders with outboards and safety equipment. Please review the individual yacht specification on our website for further details of available equipment and details of inclusions and exclusions.

Yacht photographs and specifications act as a guide and are for information purposes only.  Although we endeavour to ensure that images are accurate reflections of the yachts in our fleet, certain aspects may vary slightly.

Please note that our bareboat repeat client discount does not apply to our crewed charter fleet.

Charter Rates shown above are for 7 nights per vessel (Christmas and New Year supplements on selected yachts). Crewed Charters usually start at noon and finish at noon, but please do check times for your particular yacht.

• Additional water-sports  (other than those included on the crewed yacht) are all available at competitive rates.
• Hotel Accommodations  throughout the islands can be arranged. Most major credit cards accepted.  Please check our Accommodations page for more information.

An Environmental levy of $10 per head is payable by all visitors to the BVI on arrival (effective 1st Sept 2017).

Bookings and Cancellations  – We require a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation and the balance due of 50% no later than 45 days prior to charter start date. A smaller deposit and interim fee may be acceptable for bookings made more than 12 months in advance. Cancellation fees apply, and vary from yacht-to-yacht. Please check the specific terms for your yacht at the time of booking.

Luxury yacht DONA LOLA measures 130 feet in length and is able to accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 lovely staterooms. Motor yacht DONA LOLA has an elegant designer interior with neutral furnishings and good ambient lighting. She has a good sized and comfortable main salon with large windows and a separate dining area forward. M/Y DONA LOLA is in excellent condition having been well maintained and having had an extensive refit in 2010.

Charter yacht DONA LOLA has good deck space on three levels. There is a large and comfortable dining area on the main deck aft, a further dining area on the bridge deck, with BBQ and Spa Pool, and ample sun pads and a bar on the sundeck. Luxury motor yacht DONA LOLA also has a convenient swim platform for easy access to the water, so you can board the wave runners effortlessly, or leap into the water for a spot of snorkeling.

Growing up, any chance Guy and his family had, they would make trips to their cottage on the rugged, yet majestic Wild Coast. After graduating from University, Guy was a successful Account and Sales Manager but, craved adventure and travel. He joined the yachting industry in 2011 and has since proved to be a great asset. Early on, Guy was determined to become a Captain and has worked hard the last 10 years achieving that goal. He has travelled many of the world’s waters during this time including the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska and New England. Steve was a farm boy by birth but, a sailor by passion. He gravitated towards sailing after school and took 2 years sailing around the world. During this adventure he quickly came to realize a career in sailing was possible. Steve has worked on a variety of yachts both motor and sail. One of his most recent jobs was working in Mexico onboard a Sea Shepard vessel protecting marine wildlife. Aside from sailing, Steve also enjoys the outdoors and traveling on his Triumph motorcycle. He spent a large portion of his childhood fishing or riding motorbikes with his elder brother and father.. After grade school, Lance studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape of South Africa. He graduated in 2015 with honors and immediately decided that he wanted to pursue a career on board super yachts.<br /> Lance holds his Y4 and is a qualified Mechanical Engineer. Growing up, Ruben’s mother dreamed of him being an accountant but, his passions led him into the heart of the kitchen. Ruben began his career as a chef working in restaurants and hotels in the Alps and spent 3 years working in the Danieli Hotel Venice. After 6 years of experience on land, Ruben got the opportunity to work on board World traveling cruise ships. He worked for over 8 years on circumnavigating ships, stopping everywhere from South America, Asia, South Africa and more. On board the ship, Ruben met a Turkish President who invited him to be a personal chef. He worked on both the yacht and his villa for 2 years. In 1999, craving he life at sea again, Ruben pursued a career as a yacht chef. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Lake Coma, Italy. <br /> With his wealth of knowledge in all things food, be assured that every meal you have onboard will be memorable and tailored to your unique requirements.<br /> <br /> Chief Stewardess Samantha Tester<br /> Throughout Samantha’s life travel and adventure have been prevalent. She was born in Germany and grew up in North Carolina. Weekends and holidays were spent either hiking in the mountains or on the coast fishing, surfing and boating. After graduating high school in Charlotte, N.C., Samantha’s love for the sea brought her to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she graduated with her Bachelors in Business. Some of her hobbies include hiking, photography, and scuba diving. Samantha’s passion for people, travel and the desire to give the highest level of service will make your stay on Doña Lola an unforgettable one. <br /> <br /> Second Stewardess Chelsea Keenan<br /> Chelsea was raised in Central California. After grade school, she attended San Diego State University where she graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management. She always had a strong desire to travel and learn about other cultures which lead her to live in New Zealand for a year. She naturally gravitated towards yachting 2 years ago and has sailed throughout the East Coast of the USA, Caribbean and the Bahamas. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and reading. She attended university at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she competed on the women’s rowing team and graduated with a bachelors degree in business. While living in Australia, she learned how to dive and became a scuba diving instructor while working on the Great Barrier Reef. She has also spent time backpacking through Southeast Asia, exploring Eastern Europe, and worked a season as a ski instructor in the Rocky Mountains. Growing up, Ruben’s mother dreamed of him being an accountant but, his passions led him into the heart of the kitchen. Ruben began his career as a chef working in restaurants and hotels in the Alps and spent 3 years working in the Danieli Hotel Venice. After 6 years of experience on land, Ruben got the opportunity to work on board World traveling cruise ships. He worked for over 8 years on circumnavigating ships, stopping everywhere from South America, Asia, South Africa and more. On board the ship, Ruben met a Turkish President who invited him to be a personal chef. He worked on both the yacht and his villa for 2 years. In 1999, craving he life at sea again, Ruben pursued a career as a yacht chef. While living in Australia, she learned how to dive and became a scuba diving instructor while working on the Great Barrier Reef. She has also spent time backpacking through Southeast Asia, exploring Eastern Europe, and worked a season as a ski instructor in the Rocky Mountains. After 6 years of experience on land, Ruben got the opportunity to work on board World traveling cruise ships. He worked for over 8 years on circumnavigating ships, stopping everywhere from South America, Asia, South Africa and more. On board the ship, Ruben met a Turkish President who invited him to be a personal chef. He worked on both the yacht and his villa for 2 years. In 1999, craving he life at sea again, Ruben pursued a career as a yacht chef. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Lake Coma, Italy. <br /> With his wealth of knowledge in all things food, be assured that every meal you have onboard will be memorable and tailored to your unique requirements.<br /> <br /> Chief Stewardess Samantha Tester<br /> Throughout Samantha’s life travel and adventure have been prevalent. She was born in Germany and grew up in North Carolina. Weekends and holidays were spent either hiking in the mountains or on the coast fishing, surfing and boating. After graduating high school in Charlotte, N.C., Samantha’s love for the sea brought her to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she graduated with her Bachelors in Business. Some of her hobbies include hiking, photography, and scuba diving. Samantha’s passion for people, travel and the desire to give the highest level of service will make your stay on Doña Lola an unforgettable one. <br /> <br /> Second Stewardess Chelsea Keenan<br /> Chelsea was raised in Central California. After grade school, she attended San Diego State University where she graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management. She naturally gravitated towards yachting 2 years ago and has sailed throughout the East Coast of the USA, Caribbean and the Bahamas. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and reading. Superyacht DONA LOLA is a 130ft Westport from 2003 with refits in 2010 and 2018. Accommodating up to 10 guests sleeping and 12 guests cruising, she is found in the BAHAMAS, EXUMAS and the EAST CARIBBEAN during witner months and at times in the Mediterranean during the summer months. She cruises at speeds of close to 20kn and reaches  maximum speed of 27kn.  She is a great value charter yacht with exceptonal 7-crew including a captain.

Sarah was born in London though moved to Sydney Australia when she was 6 years old. A desire to see the world lead Sarah to sailing from Argentina to the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, where she discovered a love of sailing, scuba diving and the ocean. She was introduced to professional yachting in the Caribbean where she worked in the demanding charter yacht industry. Sarah has spent the past 13 years working on yachts where she has cemented her hospitality knowledge and furthered her diving qualifications. CHEF: ADRIAN TATLOCK

Born in Colwin Bay, United Kingdom, February 27. Adrian was trained in the classic French manner, but due to his travel experience he now has a global culinary perspective. Adrian has been in the yachting industry for over 15 years and has catered to a wide variety of guests, from politicians to Hollywood celebrities. Your taste buds are in for a real treat, so sit back, relax and know that your culinary experience onboard Dona Lola will be exquisite. _____________________________________________

FIRST OFFICER: Gareth Hunt Gareth was born in a small surfing village called Ballito in South Africa. Growing up surfing, diving and fishing, Gareth gravitated seamlessly to the yachting industry at the age of 21 and is working towards captaining his own yacht in the future. Gareth is a PADI diving instructor and enjoys spending time teaching others the joys of the underwater world. He also has an affinity for any outdoors activities and being immersed in the natural world. He has a passion for photography, diving, free diving, fishing and spearfishing. A natural under or above the ocean’s surface, Gareth would like to warmly welcome you on board Dona Lola and hopes you enjoy your time. ENGINEER: Peter Hill Pete was raised in a small country town with The Great Barrier Reef and coastal rivers as his backyard. An avid fisherman, snorkeler and diver from a very early age. Pete enjoyed all aspects of the ocean. Pete entered the engineering sector initially as an aircraft engineer with a particular focus on helicopters. He moved to the Caribbean 8 years ago where he discovered the yachting industry and began his career on yachts. This has allowed him to combine his love of the ocean with his engineering skills. DECKHAND/DIVE INSTRUCTOR: Johnny Bruce Johnny was born on the West Coast of the USA in Long Beach California. The abundant beaches and many harbors of the coast line of California naturally inspired Johnny to pursue a life on the water. Johnny is a certified PADI Free dive instructor and open water diver with a passion for teaching others about life underwater. 2nd STEWARDESS: Amber Simrad Amber was raised in Boston, spending her summers along the coastline of New England she realized her love for the ocean. She always had a strong desire to travel and learn about other cultures, leading her to live in Ireland for 3 years. She naturally gravitated towards yachting 2 years ago and has sailed throughout the East Coast of the USA, Caribbean and the Bahamas. In her spare time she adores horseback riding, yoga, and reading. The 39.62m Westport motor yacht Doña Lola is now available for charter on selected dates in the Aeolian Islands or Greece.

Doña Lola was built in 2003 as a Westport 130 and has naval architecture and exterior design by William Garden and Gregory Marshall respectively. Her interior is styled by Pacific Custom Interiors.

Spread over three decks, Doña Lola can accommodate up to 10 charter guests in five staterooms. She has a myriad of water toys for you to choose from in addition to two tenders and she features the latest entertainment technology on board. Doña Lola is available in the Aeolian Islands or Greece from June 18th to July 3rd. She will also be available in Croatia from August 5th.

She is available for charter from €120,000 per week.
