Her interior is styled by design house Douglas Richey and she was delivered to her owner in December 2007. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508B-DITA) 8-cylinder 1,300hp engines running at 1835rpm, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 5,500 nautical miles from her 54,116 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. A General Description of Motor Yacht ARETI I

This motor yacht ARETI I is a 39 metre 127 (foot) good sized aluminium vessel which was produced from the keel up by Burger Boats and designed in the office of Burger Design Team. The well proportioned tri deck yacht ARETI I is a particularly distinctive United States made superyacht which was launched to celebration in 2007. The firm of naval architecture that made this yacht's design work on the yacht is Burger Design Team. Further, the interior designing was sucessful creation of Burger Design Team. She could be considered a recent tri deck yacht.

ARETI I was the first of two identical 127' (38.7m) tri-deck yachts completed by Burger yachts for the same owner. The identical yachts are owned by a young Russian industrialist who chose to build two identical yachts and base one in the Mediterranean and one in America due to business interests in each location.

Building & Designing relating to Luxury Yacht ARETI I

Burger Design Team was the naval architecture company involved in the professional superyacht composition for ARETI I. Her interior design was conceived by Burger Design Team. Burger Design Team is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. In 2007 she was actually launched with accolade in Manitowoc Wi and post sea trials and detailing was then passed on to the owner who commissioned her. Burger Boats completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. A fairly large area is brought about with a widest beam (width) of 8.1 metres or 26.57 feet. With a 1.8m (5.91ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned with the use of aluminium.

Range & Speeds - Engineering Package On M/Y ARETI I:

Installed with two CATERPILLAR diesel engines, ARETI I can attain a maximum speed of 16 knots. She is driven by twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 2500 nautical miles whilst motoring at her cruising speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 2600 HP and her total Kilowatts are 1938. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she was built with Zero Speed.

After completing sea trials, Lürssen delivered the 279-foot Areti last Wednesday, so the owner can spend the summer in the Mediterranean. The newest Lürssen will make its public debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. Winch Design , responsible for both the interior and exterior, gave Areti a quasi-classical profile, with a high-riding forward section and tall radar tower on the sundeck. The hull is cream-colored, balanced nicely by the white superstructure and gray accents. Areti ’s owner chose this color scheme to match his previous yachts.

The yacht was built to the Passenger Yacht Code (PYC), which allows for more than 12 passengers. Areti has eight guest staterooms and a full-beam master suite on the main deck. The owner worked closely with Winch designers to create an interior with lavish woodwork and neutral fabrics, and entertainment areas with a “beach-chic vibe,” as Lürssen describes it. The spa, for instance, has a sauna, hot tub, full-depth plunge pool, relaxation area, and “experience” shower (with multi-temperature water jets, chromatherapy lights, and aromatherapy scents). The spa connects to the large swim platform at the transom for the full ocean experience.

Winch also designed in a number of private deck spaces for the owners and guests to enjoy the yacht without intrusion. The owner’s suite has its own forward deck, with Jacuzzi and sunbed, along with a breakfast table. Areti also has a helipad in the bow, allowing easy transfers for the owners and guests.

The owner, chairman of a Russian natural gas conglomerate, had owned three other Aretis before this one. He kept Areti I and Areti II (identical 127-foot yachts built by Burger Boat Co.) in the Mediterranean and the United States so he would have one on each continent. Later, he took delivery of the 198-foot Areti from Trinity Yachts , the largest all-aluminum yacht the U.S. shipyard has built. This larger, bespoke Lürssen Areti promises to open a new yachting chapter for the owner and his family.

Areti: One of the largest yachts at the MYS now listed for sale

Areti, the 85.3-meter Lurssen superyacht delivered in 2017 has now hit the market for the first time at an asking price of €175,000,000. Scheduled to be displayed at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, the yacht was initially presented there last year.

Featuring a classic, elegant interior design penned by Winch, Areti accommodates up to 18 guests in 9 cabins, including a private owner’s deck. Catered by a crew of 27, the superyacht features a helipad, gym, beach club and an extensive spa area with a Jacuzzi and a sauna. According to Forbes, the yacht was delivered in 2017 to Russian billionaire, Igor Makarov, whose net worth is valued at $2.1 billion by the publication.

Areti will be displayed later this month at the Monaco Yacht Show where she will be one of several superyachts available for sale, which include the 88.5-meter Oceanco, Barbara marketed at €189.5 million as well as the 88.5-meter Chinese-built Illusion Plus asking $145 million.

New 55-metre Amels 180 sold with Spring 2019 delivery

Dutch luxury yacht builder Amels is proud to announce the sale of a new 55-metre Amels 180 from the Amels Limited Editions range. With delivery of the yacht in spring 2019, the owner will take full advantage of the Limited Editions approach to combine individual design choices with fast delivery in less than a year.

The owner, represented by Mark Woodmansey of Burgess, created the bespoke colour scheme in collaboration with exterior designer Tim Heywood and the Amels Design team, while the customised interiors are by designer Laura Sessa. Favourite features of the Amels 180 include the impressive 180 square-metre Sun Deck (1,938 sq ft), the Main Deck Owners Suite with folding balcony, plus a wide-body Bridge Deck Sky Lounge.

The Amels 180 has proven full displacement naval architecture with a large volume (671 Gross Tonnage), offering strong and stable seakeeping behaviour for excellent comfort and global range. The logical layout and properly-sized storage for equipment is a direct result of the larger volume, ensuring no compromise for journeys requiring extended periods of full luxury service at sea.

Crew member found dead on 93-meter Mayan Queen IV

Australian Instagram influencer, Sinead McNamara was found dead on board of 93-metre superyacht Mayan Queen IV where she was working as a crew member. Officials have said that a crew member found the young woman unconscious and tangled in rope at the back of the vessel at around 2am on Friday according to the BBC. The incident occurred when the yacht was near Kefalonia.

Whereas the reason behind this tragedy remains for now unknown, media reports have said that McNamara had died whilst being airlifted to a hospital in Athens. According to media reports, the local police has viewed CCTV footage from the yacht’s cameras and questioned the crew, with no foul play involved.

Alberto Bailleres, with an estimated fortune of more than $13 billion is the owner of 93-metre Mayan Queen VI, built by Blohm + Voss in 2008, keeping her interiors unwrapped to public. Not much is known about the superyacht’s interior by Terence Disdale. Her exterior is the work of Tim Heywood. The helipad on the foredeck is marked with a giant blue “B” for the owner’s last name.

In fact the letter “B” is emblazoned on many places on the boat as is the ship’s name, mainly all in silver. There are two pools, two tender garages with all sorts of water toys as well, and one of the garages can convert into a beach club. There are luxurious accommodations for 16 guests in eight suites. The guests are tended to by a crew of 24 who have 12 cabins.
