The Azimut 52 initially replaced the Azimut 50, maintaining most design features but extending the overall length for more socializing space. The fiberglass flybridge on this Azimut is an open-top space with curved windshields to the front, and hosts a rear sunpad, a curving leather side sofa to starboard, an angled wet-bar console with a sink and a barbecue grill, as well as an upper helm station to port with a double sofa-style piloting seat.

One level down and you will discover a teak-lined aft deck with a leather transom sofa and room for an outdoor breakfast table, as well as side steps down to what was at the time one of the largest hydraulic swimming platforms on a vessel of this size. The platform also doubles as storage space for a water tender and comes equipped with a hydraulic tender crane. Out on the foredeck, meanwhile, there is a double sunpad with marina-facing views.

The single-level internal cockpit is accessed via sliding glass doors, and benefits from double height windows in a striking, tear-drop shape. Internal spaces are decked in glossy cherrywood with burl accents, authentic Italian leather, chrome fixtures and polished fiberglass walls for a sedate and restrained feel. In the aft salon there is a U-shaped leather sofa surrounding a large coffee table as well as a loveseat and cabinets to starboard. Beyond this you will find a walk-in galley with a curved serving bar inspired by the classic cocktail lounges of the Art Deco era, equipped with a microwave, a two-zone electric hob, a sink, a fridge and pink faux-marble worktops. At the front of the cockpit is the main deck helm station, where you will find Raymarine Autohelm or Garmin electronics paired with a steering wheel and bow thruster controls.

On the lower deck you will discover three spacious en suite bedrooms, including a pair of twin cabins positioned amidship and a lavish owner’s stateroom fitted in at the bow with a double bed. Lower deck spaces benefit from plenty of natural light thanks to porthole windows and, in the owner’s room, a skylight.

A pair of Caterpillar 660MHP engines provide top speeds in excess of 30 knots, while a deep-V hull with double chines provides excellent durability and balance while moving through the waves. A fuel capacity of 1800 liters of diesel, meanwhile, should take you far and wide as you captain your Azimut 52 to some of the premier coastal destinations in the world.
