The 59m/193'7" classic yacht 'Capella C' (ex. Capella) was built by Scheepsbouwwerf Gebr . Her interior is styled by design house Scheepswerf Schouten and she was completed in 1968. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Scheepswerf Schouten and she was last refitted in 2017.

Guest Accommodation

Capella C has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 suites. The supremely spacious full beam master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Capella C is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by 3 x diesel-electric Deutz (BF8M1015MC) 590hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 100,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 85,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.

A Summary of Motor Yacht CAPELLA C

Originating from the Nv Scheepsbouwwerf Gebroeders Pot shipyard in the Netherlands the CAPELLA C is 59 metre 193 (foot) in length. Superyacht CAPELLA C is able to accommodate up to 7 guests with 7 professional crew. She could be considered a classic converted private yacht. The old, former or build project names are Capella. She is able to attain a top speed of 14 knots.

Shipyard Work & Designing for Luxury Yacht CAPELLA C

Dutch Navy was the naval architecture company involved in the technical vessel plans for CAPELLA C. Also the company Dutch Navy and Devereaux successfully worked on this venture. Built by Nv Scheepsbouwwerf Gebroeders Pot this vessel was fabricated within the Netherlands. She was successfully launched in Bolnes in 1968 before being handed over to the owner. Her main hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made largely from steel. With a width of 10.61 metres / 34.8 feet CAPELLA C has spacious room. A fairly deep draught of 3.69m (12.1ft) determines the number of overall ports she can enter, taking into account their individual characteristics. She had refit maintenance and changes completed in 1985.

The Engineering And The Speed/Range The M/Y CAPELLA C Can Reach:

The BA 8M 816 engine powering the yacht is produced by DEUTZ-MWM. Coupled to the CAPELLA C engines are a single screw propeller. The engine of the yacht generates 564 horse power (or 415 kilowatts). She is fitted with 3 engines. The total power for the yacht is thus 1702 HP or 1252 KW.

60’s classic Capella C gets new explorer look from ER Yacht Design 14 January 2016 by Simon Hardie ER Yacht Design has revealed the redesign of 59 metre classic superyacht Capella C for a London based client. The design company, founded by renowned yacht designer Ivan Erdevicki, has come up with a design that will turn the 60’s classic yacht into a functional explorer yacht capable of cruising to the remotest parts of the world.

Capella C was originally built in 1968 as a pilot vessel by the Scheepsbouwwerf Gebroeders Pot yard in the Netherlands. In 1985 she was converted into a luxury yacht and in 2008 underwent a refit. This latest design marks another change for Capella C.

The 193.57ft Conversion expedition motor yacht ‘Capella C’ was built by Scheepsbouwwerf Gebr in Netherlands, she was delivered to her owner in 1968 and last refitted in 2008. Previously named Capella,

Accommodation Capella C’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests overnight in 12 cabins, comprising a master suite, She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Construction & Dimensions Capella C features a displacement steel hull and steel superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.

Motor yacht Capella C is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway.

Performance Powered by 3 Deutz (BF8M1015MC) 599hp diesel-electric engines and propelled by her single screw propeller Motor yacht Capella C is capable of a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 100,000 fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 85,000 litres of fresh water.

Expedition yacht Capella C for sale at Fraser

A call to Fraser Yachts in Monaco brings more details of Richard Earp's latest listing, the 59m motor yacht Capella C .

Built as a pilot vessel by Holland's Scheepsbouwerft Pot yard in 1968, she was converted into a luxury yacht in 1985 and was last refitted in 2008. Capella C sleeps 22 guests in 12 staterooms with 17 crew and her triple 600hp Deutz engines give her a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11.5 knots.

Lying in Monaco, Capella C is asking $5.8 million.
