Top Cat 37 - Fade

The Top Cat features our most complex board design, created specifically to get you close to the ground while cruising, carving and sliding. Your board will gain a few battle scars from being so close to the ground, and with the cleverly designed chamfered edges, the board can scrape the ground endlessly without getting damaged. Easy to push and hard carving, the Top Cat is the result of years of development creating an incredibly capable, all-new model for 2023. The most rocker we’ve ever built into a board creates a surfy, slidy longboard that is truly unique in the world. The graphic is see-through, revealing veneers dyed in red, yellow, and blue, creating a 5-color fade. This technique guarantees that every deck is completely one of a kind. One of our favorite aspects of the ride is bouncing it off the ground while carving. As the graphic scrapes away, it reveals more colors, creating an ever-changing look. A comfy, easy to ride platform that will be a wicked addition to your quiver, the Top Cat will provide you with a unique feeling and bring you a riding experience you can’t get anywhere else. It’s the cats’ pajamas!

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

MEDIUM CAVE

The perfect middle ground, enough concave that you always feel glued to your board, but not too much to hurt your feet during a longer cruise.

Rocker provides a more comfortable foot platform by adjusting the deck angles to a skater’s natural stance. It also adds board control and increases responsiveness under your feet.

SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

All new for 2023, the Top Cat is a rockered, tapered, top mounted drop-deck that destroys any terrain you throw at it. The board is slightly wider at the front than it is at the back to give you lots of leverage over the front truck. The dropped platform provides a snug pocket for your feet at the ends of the board, and combined with the aggressive rocker, this board is low to the ground which makes it stable and easy to push long distances. The board is going to touch the ground enough to scrape, and because of the clever design of the board and chamfered edges, the scraping will have zero effect on the strength & longevity of the board. The concave is very mellow and curves up towards the chamfered edges very gradually. Your feet will have a nice firm contact with the board, leaving you with a secure feeling and lots of confidence when riding. You get classic wheelbite cut-outs that historically appear on drop deck style boards, which provide you with the wheel clearance you need to run anything 72mm & under. The wheel cutouts also give the board a pleasing shape, curving outwards from the mounting area and joining up harmoniously with the standing platform to complete the shape of the board. The truck mounting area at the nose and tail do not have any drop through mounting options; this board is purely top mount for added control and precision, also increasing the grip you get out of your wheels. The extreme shape of the board is likely to have a little more of a twist than other models, but when you’re on the board, the flex ensures a straight ride.

74mm Plow King GT

The bigger brother to the Plow King, the Plow King GT is taller, wider, and softer than last time! The Plow King GT comes in at 74mm tall and 66.5mm wide, with a durometer of 76a. These upgraded specs offer a faster, smoother, and grippier ride allowing anyone to tackle even bigger and badder terrain!

Flex Rating

Flex has a big impact on the overall feel of your board and is influenced by a bunch of different factors. The main ones being thickness of the deck, it's wheelbase and rider weight. To put the equation in laymans terms: more flex occurs when you decrease thickness of the deck, increase the wheelbase and increase rider weight. The more flex in your board the more carvy and agile it'll feel, less flex means it's more stable and suited for faster skating. We test every complete with a device we built in house, specifically to standardize flex ratings.

Very unique ride

Such a cool combo of carvy and hill rider. Little jumpy with the added riser but slides easy and super locked in with the drops

My first and only bored however need.

If you're looking to do exactly what i'm doing, then look no farther on your quest to find the best board. Personally, I don't care what something was made to do, I care about what it can do. The combination of the flex, length, and unique design allow this board to be the best land yachtz for land paddling. In combination with a good paddle....your set to get a full body workout of core muscle groups....and your certainly going to look cool while having a fun workout. Beep Beep.

I decided to give myself a treat for my 60th after watching videos and reviews of the Top Cat 37. Adding to my collection of longboards but I’m loving so far. Only got to ride it once before the snow came. Looking forward to spring and long cruises!
