Toni has been working on private and charter yachts for 15 years all over the Med. He is certified Yacht Master up to 500GT. Fluent in English and Italian. As a passionate photographer he will be happy to capture some memories for you by drone or DSLR. Toni will make you feel safe and welcome at all times on Catamaran Marla.

Toni and Ljuba, Thank you for the vacation of a lifetime, we are forever spoiled! As it was a first for us we did not know what to expect but you have both made this week what it was through your thoughtfulness and kindness. Marla is a wonderful catamaran that certainly stands out from the crowd and is a testament to you Toni. We had so many highlights but getting to know you both and hearing your stories and the passion you have for the sea and Croatia was the best. Ljuba, we will take the $60K wine story with us forever! It´s so sad to say goodbye but hopefully our paths will cross again some day and know that wherever we are in the world, our door is always open to you! We are a living advert for you and I am sure you will hear more about us from friends who want to experience the beauty of Croatia from the deck of Marla.

Toni is a fantastic guide for his clients, whether they want to explore the remote areas or enjoy sightseeing in Dalmatian towns. He knows the area intimately and works with us and the guests to create the most interesting itinerary for them.

Catamaran MARLA supports sustainability conscious charters - please read our recent BLOG:

SUSTAINABILITY IN YACHTING – CATAMARAN ‘MARLA’ – BEACH CLEAN-UP ON VIS BY THE CAPTAIN AND THE GUESTS

- MARLA does regular beach clean-ups - When they encounter floating trash during their sailing trips they always stop to collect if possible and dispose of it later on - They use different bins for plastic and organic waste on board - There is a water-maker on board and solar panels too

Weekly charter rate 2024: High Season (1 July - 31 August 2024): €16,300 (including VAT) Mid Season (1 - 30 June 2024 and 1 - 30 September 2024): €13,900 (including VAT) Low Season (1 January - 30 May 2024 and 1 October - 31 December 2024): €10,900 (including VAT)

PRICE INCLUDES: 13% Croatian VAT, accommodation for up to 6 guests, service of the Skipper & Stewardess, breakfast, lunch and 2 dinners on board, fuel for up to 4h daily, Tourist tax, use of on board water toys, WiFi, Android TV, Apple TV Gas barbecue, Linen, towels and beach towels and final cleaning.

Obligatory extras: €3,000 APA

Additional Extras: Underwater scooter: €700 per week Relocation fee of €1,000 would apply for a route Split - Dubrovnik, unless the return leg is booked.

Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.

CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.

Embarkation: from 17:00 Disembarkation: by 09:00

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate paid with the balance to cover running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees and anything else guests might need during the charter). The final account will be prepared by the captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full directly to the charterer. If the funds are insufficient, the captain will inform the charterer accordingly and the bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

Terms of payment: 50% of the charter price within 7 days of signing the charter contract, the remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the start of the charter.

Thank you so much for the wonderful moments you let us have. The trip was perfect, the islands and bays you made is visit were wonderful. The towns and restaurants you took us were amazing. Sanja’s cooking was way beyond our expectations, the kids loved it, she pleased them at every single moment. All the little details in the boat were beautiful. And the water toys you had for entertaining the kids were too much fun! You really are a lovely couple and amazing hosts. It was a truly perfect experience from start to finish: Beautiful Mala with her many comforts and amenities, their knowledge of the sea and all the magical islands and bays, Sanja’s flawless cooking and hospitality…. all add up to a customized, perfectly curated, dream come true excursion. Beyond all this, and perhaps most important is the perfect partnership of Sanja and Zoki… Without their warmth, generosity, professionalism and sense of humor, Mala would just be another fancy boat. “Our experience with Zoki, Sanja, and Catamaran Mala was one of the best trips of our lives. We spent time in Croatia and Greece, and this was the highlight of our vacation. We offer our highest recommendation to anyone. Here are a few things that really stood out to us (which might not be so obvious when you’re researching and comparing options):

1. Ownership. Zoki and Sanja own Catamaran Mala, so they are as invested as can be in making sure that every detail of the experience is the best that it can be. In most situations, a Captain and Hostess are hired to work a boat. That is not the case here. Catamaran Mala is their business and their baby, and you can truly feel that they have put their full selves into making the experience as great as possible for guests.

2. Experience & Chemistry. Along with having several decades of experience on the sea and working with guests between them, Zoki and Sanja have great chemistry as Captain and Hostess (and as a couple themselves!). That chemistry creates a beautiful energy aboard Catamaran Mala, whether you’re relaxing during quiet times, asking Zoki questions about the islands and their history, or having a lively chat with Sanja, whose energy and humor will always put you in a great mood. They strike the perfect balance of giving you space, being your guides, and being your friends.

3. Space, Quality & Food. Whereas similarly sized vessels are often built to cramp as many people as possible onboard, Catamaran Mala is a very comfortable space. That might mean one or two fewer rooms, but it’s well worth it if you have the right party size. The boat is in excellent condition, all of your needs are accounted for onboard, and Sanja is an unbelievable chef. Our freshest and most memorable meals came on Catamaran Mala rather than on restaurants on land.

4. Flexibility & Customization. Zoki and Sanja have thought of everything you might want or need, including snorkels, water tubes, water skis, paddle boards, and even a full-size BBQ (to prepare whatever you’d like), electric bikes (for on-land exploration), and an outdoor movie projector (this was super unique… check out the photos on their Instagram page). They are super accommodating and flexible, and they will customize every bit of the experience to your preference.

For all of these reasons and more, we offer Zoki, Sanja and Catamaran Mala our highest possible endorsement. It was an amazing experience and we hope to join them again one day!”

We had the best family vacation in Mala! Sanja and Zoki made it really easy for us to relax. They adjusted to whatever we wanted, food was amazing and they have the best details. They know the area perfectly, we went to incredible different places you wouldn’t find in trip advisor. I have absolutely no complaints about this Week. It was a truly great experience.
