Michael Jordan and his family are enjoying a holiday abroad.

The NBA legend, 60, was recently photographed taking a boat tour off the coast of Sicily with his wife, Yvette Prieto, and their 9-year-old twin daughters.

Jordan paired his short-sleeve button-up with a white baseball cap and cargo shorts.

The Italy sighting comes on the heels of a recent date night in Nashville , where Jordan and Prieto were seen socializing around the NASCAR Ally 400 race weekend.

Jordan met Prieto, a model who was born in Cuba, at a nightclub in 2008.

The couple wed in 2013, and their daughters, Ysabel and Victoria, arrived the following year.

Jordan has three other children from his previous marriage to Juanita Vanoy: Jeffrey, 34, Marcus, 32, and Jasmine, 30.

Marcus is dating Larsa Pippen , the ex-wife of Jordan’s former Bulls teammate, Scottie Pippen.

Last month, Jordan — a five-time league MVP — agreed to sell his majority stake in the Hornets to a group led by financiers Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall at a reported valuation of approximately $3 billion.

Jordan will reportedly maintain a minority stake in the franchise.

“In the same way that it’s wonderful that one of our greatest, Michael Jordan, could become the principal governor of a team, he has the absolute right to sell at the same time,” NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in June during the NBA Finals.

“Values have gone up a lot since he bought that team, so that is his decision.”

Jordan had owned the team for 13 seasons.

The Hornets finished the 2022 season at 27-55 and did not make the playoffs.

The team did not win a playoff round during Jordan’s time as owner and missed the playoffs for seven straight years (although they did make the play-in tournament in 2022).

With the second overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, the Hornets selected Brandon Miller out of Alabama over Scoot Henderson, who forewent college to play for the G League Unite last season.

Jordan won six championships with the Bulls in the 1990s and is widely regarded as either the best or second-best NBA player of all time.

Fans of the athlete know that the couple are very protective of their twins Ysabel and Victoria, and have yet to post photos with them on social media, as they prefer to keep them away from the public eye and the media attention.

During their family outing, the pair wore matching all-white ensembles, with Michael sporting a white cap and sunglasses. The twins wore colorful dresses and seemed happy to join their parents on the boat ride as they vacationed on the island of Sicily.

The European adventure continues for Michael Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto !

The couple were spotted strolling through the summer vacation hotspot of Portofino, Italy arm in arm. Jordan, 61, was dressed in a white t-shirt and a dark pair of shorts, with coordinating bright white sneakers and a white bucket hat.

Prieto, 45, chose a more colorful ensemble for the outting. She wore a white t-shirt underneath a multi-colored print jacket and matching printed shorts. The former model accessorized with a pair of sunglasses and brown sandals for the sight-seeing outting.

Despite their casual outfits, at 6'6", Jordan still easily stood out in the crowd and onlookers were eager to try and snap photos of the couple, who walked with what appeared to be a security guard, before being whisked away by a blue van branded with the logo of a local eco-farm that offers tours.

The sighting of the retired Chicago Bulls star and his wife came a couple of weeks after they were spotted in another celeb-favorite European vacation destination: Saint-Tropez, France .

There, they were seen enjoying a beach day, holding hands as they walked on the sand together, The couple also had a lunch date at Casa Amor restaurant and took a boat ride.

Jordan wearing a black Jordan brand hat, a white t-shirt and black shorts. Prieto was wearing another coordinating set: a matching all-white jacket and shorts over a pink bathing suit.

The couple, who married in 2013 and share 10-year-old twins Victoria and Ysabel, are rarely seen in public together.

Before their European trip, their last public appearance together was in June 2023 on the red carpet of a party at Electric Jane  in Nashville to celebrate the start of NASCAR race weekend.

NBA legend Michael Jordan has been spotted in Italy, enjoying a vacation with his wife Yvette Prieto and his twin daughters.

The 60-year-old, who won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls between 1991 and 1998, is spending time with his family on the island of Sicily.

Jordan, sporting an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore watch worth around $40,000, was seen heading out to a luxury yacht alongside Yvette and their identical twin daughters Ysabel and Victoria.

Jordan's feats on the court made him one of the most successful and recognisable athletes on the planet but these days the NBA icon keeps a low profile.

He and Yvette met in a Miami nightclub in 2008, and Jordan proposed to the Cuban-born model three years later. They married back in 2013 and a year later they welcomed their daughters, now nine.  

Last month, MJ and Prieto, 44, headed out on a rare date night in Nashville to celebrate the start of the NASCAR Ally 400 race weekend.

In recent weeks, Jordan has been in the headlines amid reports he is selling his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets for an eye-watering $3BILLION, after 13 years as the owner of the NBA team.

Only recently, they picked Brandon Miller as No 2 overall in the 2023 Draft, and while MJ is said to be keen to relinquish overall control, he is reported to be keeping a minority stake in the team. 

Jordan purchased a minority stake the Hornets back in 2006, but became the majority owner of the team in 2010.

Jordan's tenure with the Hornets has been fraught with poor results, unlucky deals, and bad management - including by Jordan himself.

Since his first full season of majority ownership in 2010-11, the Charlotte Hornets have put up a combined record of 423-600 - with only three winning seasons.

In that time, they made only two playoff appearances in 2014 and in 2016 - both ending in the first round through losses to the Miami Heat.

Since that last playoff appearance in 2016, the Hornets never finished higher than ninth in the Eastern Conference.

It all culminated in last season with a 27-55 record - seeing Charlotte finish 14th in the conference and last in their own division.
