Constructed by Golden Yachts with the launch date in 2020, superyacht O'PARI measures 94.6m/310.4ft and boasts the interior and exterior styling of the renowned Studio Vafiadis. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure provide an excellent balance between function, form and stability, and among her onboard facilities is a Jacuzzi and a Jacuzzi/swimming pool, a helipad, an abundance of alfresco dining and sunbathing areas and a beach club containing a massage room, sauna and steam room. The accommodation provides for up to 12 guests across 14 spacious en-suite cabins, with an expert crew of 28 to ensure that guests have the time of their lives while cruising.

Disembark from the tender onto the lower deck swim platform, which has plenty of room for sunbathing beside the water as an extension of the beach club or for spreading out with the water toys. Two stairways lead up to the main deck aft, where a C-shaped sofa lines the stern and two tables create a casual place for the group to dine, drink or spend time on hobbies and conversation in the sunshine.

The upper deck is the main alfresco dining area and provides an elegant setting off the skylounge where up to 16 guests can enjoy a meal at the circular table placed in the shade before savouring drinks at the three sofas along the stern. The foredeck can be accessed via side walkways from the main deck and here a helipad and a flush foredeck create a large space for sunbathing or outdoor exercise such as yoga.

The bridge deck boasts an aft swimming pool/Jacuzzi surrounded on three sides by sunbeds, and an armchair is placed to port and starboard beneath the shade of the overhang.

The sundeck is ready to host a part day or night and provides a fantastic sunbathing area forwards where sunbeds surround a raised Jacuzzi. Under the shade of the hardtop a wet bar is placed forward to port, while a circular alfresco dining table to seat 16 is placed amidships. The sun-drenched aft section has a casual lounge consisting of two sofas and loose chairs around a drinks table, and two broad sunbeds are placed along the stern.

The interiors from Studio Vafiadis use a pale colour scheme and a variety of textures using natural materials to create a beach club-like feel that emphasises the abundance of natural light.

On the lower deck the crew accommodation, mess, galley and facilities are placed forward with the tender garage and water toys storage amidships and the engine room behind. The beach club to the aft comes furnished with a central lounging space, around which there is a massage room, sauna, steam room, a changing room and a bathroom.

The main deck features a sizeable VIP stateroom forward followed by several other of the the guest cabins. The amidships area contains the galley and main foyer, both of which lead into the open-plan main salon to the aft. Here, an elongated table to seat 16 is placed forward and guests can savour a meal together in brightly lit surroundings filled with artwork. The main salon to the aft consists of three plush sofas surrounding a large coffee table and four armchairs around a drinks table.

The Master suite is placed forward on the upper deck and enjoys 180 degree views out across the bow. The rest of the guest accommodation is placed on this deck and consists of VIP and double staterooms as well as a study amidships to starboard. The lobby and crew spaces are behind the guest accommodation, and an atmospheric skylounge is placed in the aft. Desirable as a relaxing social space day or night, the skylounge has a bar in the forward port corner and a central lounge of two sofas and four armchairs around a square coffee table where guests can converse or watch a film together on the widescreen TV mounted on the forward wall. Both sides of the room have a pair of chairs and a drinks table beside the windows for quiet conversation while watching the world go by.

The bridge deck has a spacious wheelhouse with additional seating for guests to watch the action, and behind is the Captain's cabin to port and the ship office and emergency generator to starboard. A lobby amidships leads to the aft gym, which comes with a range of exercise equipment for guests to maintain their routines. Glass sliding doors open out onto the bridge deck aft for a more alfresco experience while granting direct access to the swimming pool and sunbeds.

Twin CAT 3516C-HD engines producing 2525 kW each produce a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests across 14 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 6 double cabins, 4 twin cabins with a Pullman berth and 1 single cabin. ~ The Master suite is situated on the upper deck forward and contains a king-sized bed against the wall, a pop-up TV in the cabinetry at the end of the bed, a seating area to port and a daybed to starboard. The en-suite bathroom is to port behind the bedroom and contains two sinks, an enclosed toilet and bidet, a shower and a bathtub. A sizeable dressing room is placed to port, with a guest lobby that can also be used as an office. ~ Two double cabins are placed to port and a VIP cabin to starboard on the upper deck. The VIP stateroom comes furnished with a queen-sized bed, a pop-up TV, an armchair and side table beside the window, and a walk-though wardrobe that leads to the marble en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has two sinks, a toilet, bidet and a shower. ~ The double cabins both have double beds and a pop-up TV, large wardrobes and an e-suite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, bidet and a shower. ~ On the main deck, there is a spacious forward VIP stateroom that could be considered a second Master suite. Within, there is a king-sized bed on the forward wall with a widescreen TV mounted on the wall opposite, a chaise-lounger beneath the port windows and to starboard a pair of armchairs with a drinks table in the middle. A walk-in wardrobe is placed forward to port while the starboard side contains a marble-finished en-suite bathroom within which are two sinks, a toilet, bidet, shower and a bathtub. The VIP lobby aft also has a study to starboard. ~ The main deck also hosts three double cabins, three twin cabins with Pullman berths and a salon convertible to a single cabin. The double cabins all have a double bed, widescreen TV, a seating area, a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, bidet, sink and shower. The twin cabins have twin beds and a widescreen TV, a large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom which has a toilet, bidet, sink and shower. The salon/single cabin contains a desk and chair, a sofa, armchair and coffee table with an en-suite bathroom providing a toilet, bidet, sink and shower. ~ The professional crew of 28 will provide guests with an exceptional experience throughout their time on board.

Over five levels, O’PARI is a lavish, floating palace that offers guests the pinnacle of charter experiences that can be completely tailored to your every whim.

On deck, there are several spaces dedicated to leisure and relaxation, including the magnificent sundeck that boasts an inviting jacuzzi with large sunpads, undercover bar and dining table, DJ booth and dance floor and vast lounge area.

The bridge deck features the second pool/jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads. Inside, there is a fully-equipped gym with an impressive selection of machines and weights, as well as the Captain’s cabin and wheelhouse helm.

The aft upper deck is the ideal place for meals alfresco, casual dining and entertaining, and enjoying the views from the lounge and banquette seating. On the foredeck is the touch-and-go helipad for arriving with discretion and taking off to explore the coastline.

There is yet another social space on the Main deck which would be perfect for pre-dinner aperitifs ahead of moving into the main saloon for forming dining. On the lower deck is the extensive ‘beach house’ for making the most of your time close to the watersedge, with extended swim platform, sun lounges, umbrellas and garage housing all O’PARI’S watertoys and tenders.

A lift services each level, there is wi-fi and air-conditioning throughout the vessel and O’PARI is wheelchair accessible.

A certified “green yacht”, O’PARI is equipped with DPF systems to reduce pollutants and other hazardous substances in the air and water.

Decorated in a sophisticated palette of neutrals, O’PARI’S décor is 5-star elegance, with quality custom furnishing, exotic marble and various timbers, plus high-tech LED lighting and floor to ceiling windows for panoramic views.

Adjacent to the Beach House on the lower deck, is the dedicated massage room, with warm Turkish hammam and dry Finnish sauna, guaranteed to pamper and relax guests after days enjoying the sunshine and island hopping.

The upper saloon and main saloon are tranquil lounges for relaxation, socialising and enjoying the state of the art AV entertainment system, including audio distribution system with independent Airplay, Bluetooth, Internet radio, Spotify, tune in radio, Pandora, Sirus Xm, Deezer, Napster in each area of the yacht; wired and wireless CRESTRON touch screens for music and TV control, or guests can connect their own iPhone/iPad/Android device.

O’PARI has a phenomenal 21 TVs installed throughout the yacht each with independent movie players, satellite receiver, media player, Apple TV, blue ray players, local TV channels and local inputs for gaming consoles and video cameras.

There is a fantastic outdoor cinema on the sun deck and the movie server is equipped with 450+ movies. Guests have individual control of all lights, climate, blinds and shades from analog classic switches, mounted touch panels or wireless touch screens with Smart Graphics user interface for easier control.

The main saloon is adjacent to a formal dining room for up to 14 guests, complete with custom-crafted glass table and contemporary chandelier.

ACCOMMODATION

O’PARI comprises a total of 14 luxurious cabins: On the upper deck are the owner’s suite, VIP suite and two Double cabins. On the main deck is one VIP suite, one salon/double cabin, three double cabins, three twin cabins with a Pullman berth in each, then on the lower deck are the twin/staff cabin with a Pullman berth, and one single/hospital cabin. All guest cabins have private ensuites and the impeccable styling with original artworks and custom-designed furnishings.

The lavish owner’s suite on the upper deck that is a private haven, with wraparound windows, walk-in robes, dressing room, lounge area, office, expansive ensuite with bath and shower, and his ‘n hers basins.

The VIP suite on the main deck is just as sumptuous, comprising full-beam cabin, large ensuite with bath and shower, and walk-in robe and dressing room.

Luxury charter yacht O’PARI has been kitted out with the latest equipment for guests’ total delight, whether you prefer just to dip a toe in or flat-out, high-octane fun.

Besides the charter fee for the mega yacht, are there additional costs i should budget for.

Here is the example of all obligatory costs for one of the Luxury Yacht:

LUXURY YACHT: 30,000.00 € APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of the charter fee – 9,000.00 €

VAT is included in all the prices.

What is Advance Provisioning Allowance – APA

When chartering a crewed yacht under MYBA terms or special Europe Yacht Charter terms on the fully crewed yachts, you will be required to make a deposit in advance of the charter, which is separate to the charter or booking fee.

This deposit is called the “advance provisioning allowance” or APA. The APA amount is used to cover expenses incurred during the course of the charter such as fuel, food, beverages, mooring fees, visa fees, harbour fees, park fees, taxes, and other expenses not included in the Charter Fee. In the event of cancellation of the charter the APA is refundable.

The captain of the yacht is responsible for accounting for all APA expenses during the charter, and the breakdown will be presented to you in a clear manner at the end of the charter.

If the costs incurred during the course of the charter are less than the APA deposit, then the difference will be refunded to the Charterer at the end of the charter.

If the costs incurred during the course of the charter that are over and above the APA deposit then this difference will be payable by the Charterer at the end of the charter.

What is the cancellation policy?

If the Client wants to change the charter terms or cancel the reservation, this must be done in writing (via e-mail, fax, or post.)

If the Client cancels the reservation in writing, Charteree reserves the right to apply the following cancellation charges:

• In the event of a cancellation made up to 45 days prior to the start date of the charter period Charteree charges 50% of the Charter Fee.
• In the event of a cancellation made within 45 days prior to the start of the charter period Charteree charges 100% of the Charter Fee.
• In the event of a cancellation made after check-in Charteree retains 100% of the Charter Fee and charges to the Client all expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation.

If the Client is able to find a new rental client for the same period of the charter and under the same terms and conditions, Charteree reserves the right to charge for any administrative and manipulative costs incurred by the change.

In the event that the Client has to cancel the reservation due to objective reasons (death in the family or serious illness), Charteree is not liable to return the paid amount, but if the Client rents the vessel in the same period Charteree will organize charter on other adequate vessel for the next appropriate date or for the next season, i.e. Charteree will issue a credit note that can be used in the agreed period.

The credit note is calculated taking into account the difference between the cancelled reservation and the reservation later confirmed for the same vessel and in the same period. Charteree is not liable for damages in the event of reservation changes or cancellation due to situations such as war, riot, strikes, terrorist activity, exceptional sanitary conditions, natural disasters, interventions of local authorities, etc.)

When can I get in touch with the skipper?

You can get in touch with the skipper as soon as you’ve completed your booking.

Our skippers are highly qualified and knowledgeable about their locality. They all speak English. The skipper is to be payed in the marina at the check in (for crewed charter, the crew is already included in the price)

COVID-19 cancellation

We understand that there is an uncertainty regarding travel plans this year. For that reason we are offering free reschedule of the charter.

In case of travel restrictions or a CDC Travel Health Notice for any country to/from the charter destination will be issued and it won’t be possible for charterers to reach charter destination then:

Completion of the preference list document would let our crew know about the specific likes and dislikes you and your guests may have and also potential allergies, and it gives us the opportunity to plan and cater to your individual tastes. Please contact all members of your party before completing the preference list, as we want to ensure that their favorites are on board as well. The Preference list will be send to you approximately one month before the charter by our booking manager.

The Captain

The Greek Captain Alexandros Skaris has been in the charter business for almost 20 years, with many of his guests being repeat visitors to his yachts. Speaking of his role as captain, it is clear that he has a true passion for delivering the ultimate ocean experience. “The challenge in my role is to offer memories that extend beyond the yacht and the destination,” he says. “To build a connection with the guests and be part of their memories."

The Experience

O’Pari is a yacht that offers a little something for everyone. Her ample space and superb contemporary decoration give an immediate feeling of calm and luxury. Exotic marble walls contrast with sleek wooden floors, allowing guests to breathe a sigh of relief when they step on board.

The upper deck plays host to an impressive owner’s suite complete with its own salon. In total, O’Pari offers 14 guest cabins, including a master, one VIP, six  doubles, four twins with pullman and one single/hospital cabin, all with ensuite bathrooms.

A full gym and spa including a massage room, a Turkish hammam and a Finnish sauna are sure to delight those seeking ultimate relaxation. The Cuisine

The talented Chef Takis Papayiannis brings the best of Mediterranean cooking to every dish he creates. Born and raised in Greece, he trained in his home country before honing his skills at some of the best 5 star restaurants across Europe. Working alongside Assistant Chef Steliyan Dimitrov, the dining experience on board O’Pari is therefore nothing short of perfect.

A key feature of Chef Papayiannis’ menus is fresh seafood. Popular dishes might include freshly caught lobster baked with hollandaise sauce served with sweet potatoes and green apple, or healthy salads packed with flavour, such as scallop, tuna, tomato and fresh herbs finished with a zingy lime dressing. Whatever the mood, Chef Papagiannis always rises to the occasion whether he’s catering laid-back brunches with classic favourites or formal dining and celebratory feasts.

Captain / Alex Skaris Greek / 1980

Alex holds a Captain Class A’ Diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and certificates in Lifesaving Equipment and Drills, First-Aid, Fire-Fighting & Prevention as well as a Dive Master certificate. He commenced a career in 2002 following his passion for the sea and served on cruise ships, but his love for yachts brought him to the yachting industry a year later. Alex has since served on motor yachts both as a Chief Officer and as a Captain with top references and 80% repeat clientele. He is really talented and has expert knowledge of the Greek Sea. What excites him the most about being a captain on a charter yacht is that he is given the chance to share unique experiences.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE

Dmitry Korchak (born February 19, 1979 in Elektrostal/Moscow Oblast) is a Russian tenor and conductor.

Korchak received his musical education at the Moscow Choral Academy. In 2004 he won prizes at the “Francisco Viñas” International Singing Competition in Barcelona and at the Plácido Domingo Operalia International Competition in Los Angeles.

As a singer he has appeared at La Scala in Milan, the Vienna State Opera, the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden, the Paris Opera Bastille, London’s Covent Garden and New York’s Carnegie Hall. He has collaborated with artists such as Daniel Barenboim, Riccardo Chailly, Plácido Domingo, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta and Kent Nagano.

From 2017 to 2020, Dmitry Korchak was Principal Guest Conductor at the Novosibirsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, where he directed his own festival, and Guest Conductor at the Mikhailovsky Theater in Saint Petersburg.

Korchak has made several guest appearances at the Kissinger Sommer, the Salzburg Festival and the Rossini Festival in Pesaro, where he also worked as a conductor. Korchak also worked with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, among others.

Jewish Encyclopedia of Russia Surnames starting with the letter P

The following list is a translation of names and minimal personal data for 8,500 people included in Jewish Encyclopedia of Russia (Rossiyskaya Evreiskaya Entsiclopediya); first edition; 1995, Moscow.

Famous people who are listed in the book, which in fact is a biographical dictionary, were born in Russia, the USSR, the Russian Empire, or lived there. This is the first edition of this kind in Russia and a large group of specialists from Russia, Israel and other countries participated in the project.

There are many more well known people in Russia to be included in the next edition of the book. We have to remember that the success of many of these people was achieved against all odds related to limited opportunities that Jews had in Russia.

The translation is an attempt to inform people about this additional source available for researchers.
