FAQs About Yacht Trips in Cape Town
Before you head off and book your tour, here are some common questions with all the short answers you need.
Where Do Waterfront Boat Rides Start?
The boats all leave from the Waterfront in Cape Town.
As well as the boat rides mentioned above, there are also speedboat rides available from the V&A Waterfront and kayaking adventures, too. You will also find private luxury cruises that we have not mentioned.
What Do You Wear on a Waterfront Boat Cruise?
This depends on the type of tour you’re taking, but you can wear casual clothing. For some tours, like the marine wildlife trips, you may want to opt for comfort over appearance, but that truly depends on you. Generally speaking, though, a good pair of sunglasses and a sunhat are always a good idea.
How Far Away Is Waterfront From Robben Island?
The average trip length will last 30 minutes if traveling from the V&A Waterfront to Robben Island. While many tours ride past Robben Island, not all of them stop there. If you want to visit the island, you’ll need to book one of the Robben Island tours.

Great nature experience support by a fantastic team It was a great experience on the boat along the coast line. Seeing Southern Right Whales in the waves was a fantastic experience. The skipper and his crew did a fantastic job to spot the whales in the waves and approaching them with respect. The crew was very professional and did their job to make the day in Gansbaai a magical experience.

The Best V&A Waterfront Boat Trips + Cruises
By Inside Guide
Sunset cruises, harbour tours and bubbly on boats – it’s time to set sail…
What started as a single jetty, built by Jan van Riebeeck in the 1650s as a refreshment station for weary travellers, the V&A Waterfront is now home to one of the most-well-trodden shopping centres in Africa, as well as a bustling marina where cruise ships, yachts, catamarans and boats dock, before whisking visitors off on the boat trip of their dreams .
Whether you’re after a sunset cruise on a luxury yacht, an educational tour of the harbour, or a festive boat trip with a live DJ, the Waterfront has a cruise just for you!
As always, if you know of a wonderful boat trip you believe deserves to be on our list, please let us know in the comments below. There’s something wonderfully immersive and exhilarating about ocean travel – whether a spacious luxury liner, a tugboat for two, or a bustling public ferry. The unobstructed scenery, the wind in your hair and sea spray on your face, the time away from real life, and the repetitive rocking – all of which make sea rides decidedly appealing.

Our Most Popular Daily Scheduled Trip
Cape Town has one of the best locations to see the Sunset from the Sea. With the Atlantic Ocean stretching away from the majestic Table Mountain range, this is certainly a ‘must do’ cruise for locals and tourists alike. Toast the setting sun from the deck of one of Waterfront Charters amazing range of vessels.
A complimentary glass of local sparkling wine ( two glasses per guest, or a bottle for a couple ) will be served, and the bar will be open for all other drinks for the duration of the cruise. Toast to the setting sun once more!
Kids are welcome, and have a special price option. Cape Town weather can change five times a day, so our route from the harbour is not always predictable; the two options below are merely a guide. But no matter which direction we take be assured of a spectacular cruise.
SUNSET UNDER SAIL
The sailboats Esperance and Serenity One follow the wind for this cruise. They do not offer a specific destination for this reason; you will be advised before departure as to the expected direction. The typical Cape Town summer wind blows from the south-east; the boats use the motors to leave the harbour and then they sail across Table Bay towards Milnerton lighthouse, returning to the protection of Granger Bay in the lee of Table Mountain to watch the sunset, and then motor back to the Waterfront.
In the winter months with the northwester prevalent, the direction taken will be toward the Clifton Coastline, or the Robben Island Coastline, also returning to Granger Bay. The wind and sea conditions change daily so the routing and style of the trip also change to meet the conditions; the skipper and crew will give you the best possible adventure.
SUNSET ON A MOTOR VESSEL
The Motor Vessels Sea Princess and Southern Cross follow a different route to the sailing boats. As they are not dependant on the wind they offer a destination and normally cruise slowly along the Atlantic seaboard towards Clifton beach and then return. [/responsivevoice]
VARIATION TO CRUISE (DUE TO WEATHER)
For all the vessels, when the seas are running too high or the wind is unpleasantly strong, instead of heading into Table Bay the destination is the Cape Town Harbour for a Harbour Lights Cruise; a perfect alternative offering magical views of Table Mountain and the lights of Cape Town and the harbour in the evening. In extreme conditions, the skipper will take every aspect into account, and even stay dockside to ensure the safety of the passengers .
* In the unlikely event that the primary boat for this cruise is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to utilize an alternative vessel for this experience. Be assured that Waterfront Charters will always make every possible effort to ensure that the advertised vessel is available. Some Cruises do not have a dedicated boat for the cruise and rely on a pool of available vessels at Waterfront Charters to cover fluctuations in weather, seasonal passenger numbers and planned maintenance.
The Waterfront Charters Cruise and Dine combo is the perfect package of a relaxing ocean cruise followed by a delicious meal at the V&A Waterfront. Get an additional 10% discount off your cruise when you book and pay for this combo online.

Rated 2 out of 5 disappointing sunset champagne cruise.
peterraffin – 2022-12-12
Waterfront Charters paints a Great Picture for their Sunset Champagne Cruise. Our experience was the complete opposite. Our booking was made three weeks ago and it was impossible to know what the weather conditions were going to be. On the day of our Cruise it was Raining, Overcast and Windy. When we phoned to change our booking we were told that because we booked through an agency we could not change our booking and the skipper was to decide whether we were to go out or not. As we were a large party of Adults and Children we did not want to lose our money. We arrived at the Waterfront in very bad weather conditions to be told that we were going out. There was certainly no Sunset to be seen. The sea was rough and the wind was howling. We had four children on board under the age of eleven. To say that they were unhappy is an understatement. Not only did they endure very bad weather conditions, but loud music and bad behaved patrons drinking too much champagne. This is definitely not a Family Cruise and should not be marketed as such.

'Access to hidden-gem ports': Why this luxury yacht is the best option for beach lovers
“This is your yacht, to do with as you please,” Captain Rob O’Leary told guests of the Emerald Sakara , the second luxury superyacht from Emerald Cruises. “We have an international crew from 21 different nations, and we are all here for you.”
I was on the maiden voyage of the 360-foot Sakara, a December 2023 sailing with the added glamor of a Champagne christening in San Juan, Puerto Rico, led by the ship’s godmother, Kelly Craighead. She is president of Cruise Lines International Association, the industry’s leading trade organization.
“Sakara” is a Sanskrit word meaning “thoughts become things” – a fitting name, given the thought that went into the ship’s chic design. And our itinerary for the week couldn’t be more yacht-like – an island-hopping experience in the West Indies, stopping in out-of-the-way ports that larger cruise ships can’t manage. And while some smaller boats can feel rocky, the Sakara’s stabilizers keep the ship on an even keel.
Are luxury cruise ships worth the money? We did the math for Silversea's Silver Nova.
With just 100 guests and 76 crew, the Sakara is part of the larger trend in cruising: smaller ships that cater to vacationers who want the style and feel of a yacht, and the intimate service that accompanies that, with the amenities of a larger ship. Craighead said small-ship cruises offer “luxury at a great value, access to hidden-gem ports and unique features like marinas for water activities directly off the ship. These small ships can even be chartered for your own amazing, private yacht experience.”
After departing from San Juan, the Sakara reached the Puerto Rican island of Culebra in a few hours, just 20 miles off the coast. We hopped in a taxi van at the port to reach the pristine waters of Flamenco Beach, which consistently makes the world’s top 10 lists. It was a fall-asleep-on-the-sand kind of day, under brightly colored umbrellas, with multiple trips to the canteen for french fries.
“I hope you enjoyed Culebra today because it’s quite hard to get in, through a very narrow channel,” O’Leary said at a supper-hour briefing.
The next day, we stopped at the nearby island of Vieques, which is filled with wild horses – about 2,000 of them – most of which are fully accustomed to the photo op. We docked at Esperanza Bay and wandered the waterfront. Jeeps or ATVs were available to rent for those who wanted to beach-hop, but we settled into the sand at Sun Bay. And when we sailed into Cruz Bay on the U.S. Virgin Island of St. John the next day, there were yachts and catamarans everywhere – and the Sakara fit right in.
The crew outdid itself the next day at White Bay Beach on Jost Van Dyke, the smallest of the British Virgin Islands. A barbecue feast awaited us, along with beach loungers, steel drum entertainment, and all the paddles and water toys from the ship. Later, we wandered down the beach to find a young yacht crowd, groups of friends who have rented their boats, all knee-deep in their mojitos.
“I get a real kick out of driving the Emerald Sakara into St. Barths, muscling in and anchoring next to all the other superyachts,” O’Leary said. “It looks good in the pictures.” A stop there brought a snorkeling excursion, a bit of high-end shopping and a few rosé-soaked hours on Plage de Saline.
Back on board, the creature comforts of the Sakara included plenty of outdoor space to connect with the ocean, a small infinity pool, a full-service spa and a large, elegant dining room and terrace. It’s all part of the cushy yacht lifestyle.
The ship will spend the summer and fall cruising the Mediterranean Sea – heading for the French and Italian rivieras, Croatia and Greece – with eight-day itineraries from $5,100. The Emerald Sakara will be back in the Caribbean next December, with eight-day cruises starting at $4,100.

Where to Book Booze Cruises of All Kinds in D.C.
Seasonal offerings on the Potomac include tailgating excursions to Nats Park, sunset Champagne on the dock, and everything in between

This spring, D.C. docks are home to a surge of drinking vessels designed for every occasion, vibe, and price point. A returning line of retro motor boats are apparently the ticket to getting engaged, with seven proposals out on the water last year. Want to watch dolphins give birth on the Chesapeake this summer? One hotel offers an excursion for that. And a fancy sailboat manned by a fine dining chef pairs tasting menus with French wines.
Soak up monumental views along the Potomac River, drink in tow, with this running list of bookable boats.
Sea Suite Cruises
Co-founders and Arlington natives Jack Walten and Jack Maher’s first BYOB paddle pub debuted in 2018. Six years later, their supersized fleet is made up of 13 boats bobbing around Mid-Atlantic waterways (in D.C., Baltimore, Annapolis, and Richmond), plus floating tiki bars. And a landlocked bar born in Clarendon is the muse for one of their hottest new bookings this season:
Whitlow’s on Water
Now the largest boat in Sea Suite Cruises’ fleet, the 48-passenger tiki tour is the product of a fun new partnership with Whitlow’s owner Jon Williams. His iconic Clarendon dive moved to Shaw, but its original tiki rooftop on Wilson is reincarnated as a floating bar. “Whitlow’s on Water has taken the [Potomac] by storm,” says Sea Suite’s Jack Walten, noting it’s pretty much sold out almost every Saturday through the summer. Diehard Whitlow’s regulars, which includes the “Jacks,” have a familiar face on board: a former bartender from its Clarendon days handles the liquid lineup. Standard mixed drinks join beers, wines, High Noon seltzers, orange crushes, and rum punches. There’s also a selection of pub grub (sandwiches, wings, etc.) sourced from Whitlow’s.
Two TVs air “whatever people want to watch,” he says, which has included everything from March Madness to the Bachelorette (bachelorette parties are popular bookings, after all). As are corporate teams, birthdays, Whitlow’s fans, and even 50-year wedding anniversaries. Individual tickets are also available, to “mix and mingle like you would in a normal bar,” he says. Sea Suite caters to Washington Nationals fans with a traffic-free cruise from Georgetown to the Yards Marina, docking just in time to walk over for the first pitch. “Tailgating on a tiki boat, it doesn’t get better than that,” he says.
Price: Ticket tiers start at $24 and up for daily options that include individual or group sightseeing tours, tiki taxis, private charters, or “Nats Sailgate” ( book online).
Where: Pick-ups and drop-offs in Georgetown in front of Fiola Mare ( 3100 K Street NW ) and Yards Marina by District Winery (1492 4th Street SE )
Retro Boat Rentals
Vintage runabout boats from Sinatra’s time were retro-fitted with electric motors, so having a romantic or intimate conversation is highly possible. It’s no wonder there were multiple (seven) proposals out on the water last year, reports Sea Suite. Each four-top fiberglass beauty sports a different color and name (Gladys, Bonnie, and Violet).
Price: $175-$225 for 1.5-hour tours; BYO drinks and food
Where: Wharf to the Washington Channel
Potomac Tiki Club
D.C.’s “first tiki cruise” lets patrons buy booze on board, or opt for an $8 corkage fee for wine and Champagne. BYO food or purchase small snacks.
Price: $45-$60 for parties of 8 to 18 out of Georgetown. A smaller thatched-roof sibling out of Navy Yard fits six and runs $350-$425. Both last 1.45 hours.
Paddle Club Cruises
Sea Suite Cruises’ fleet that started it all is a pontoon pedal boat outfitted with 10 cycle stations (or just let the motor power the party). BYOB (just no hard liquor) or purchase on-board beverages like canned Cutwater ($4-$8.50).
Price: $35-$55 for groups of 8 to 16 for 1.45-hour tours
Where: Docks from the Wharf, Navy Yard, and Georgetown
Sea Table DC Aboard Cru Classé
Chef and sommelier Troy Knapp makes Michelin-level menus on his luxury sailboat Cru Classé. Back at the Wharf for its third year , the detail-oriented captain brings fine dining to the dock with artfully plated courses, decadent floral arrangements, seafaring table settings, and French wines he pours himself. Knapp also mans other Wharf vessels for parties of six or more, partnering with Nautiste to offer dining excursions with his catering company Curated.
Choose from three different experiences this season (book via TOCK ):
- Cruise Experience (April through October): Set sail for up to three hours while enjoying four to six courses comprised of ingredients from local farms and fishermen. Complemented by prestigious wine pairings. Starting at $430 per guest
- Dockside Experience (April, May, September, and October): Savor four to six courses with sommelier-selected wines while docked at the Wharf’s marina for up to two hours. Starting at $180 per guest
- Oyster Sails (June, July, and August): Enjoy local bivalves, freshly shucked by an oyster expert on board, alongside specialty accompaniments. Paired with Champagne or prestige white wine. Starting at $225 per guest
Where: Docks at the Wharf ( 650 Wharf Street SW )
Pendry on the Potomac
The most baller option of the bunch by far, the Wharf’s luxe Pendry hotel offers guests a captain-chartered Aviara cruise that’s available to the public for the first time. Parked in its own slip right out front of the Southwest Waterfront hotel, onboard food and beverage offerings include Champagne and caviar service supplied by Pendry’s culinary team. Bar selections, beer or wine, and appetizers can be customized, depending on the parties’ preference. Excursions near and far include round trips to Nationals home games and an all-day adventure to the Chesapeake Bay to spot marine life. As it turns out, dolphins use the Potomac and Bay as a nursery to birth their calves — a rare event that happens from mid-June to mid-August when the water is warmest. Kicking it up at full speed (35-40 knots), hat-holding patrons will jet downstream through Old Town, Fort Washington, and Mt. Vernon and (hopefully) see the annual occurrence.
Price: $3,600 (3 hours); $4,600 (4 hours); $6,000 (6 hours); $7,800 (7 hours) for up to six; reserve here .

The Wyllieum: Waterfront gallery in Greenock dedicated to work of self-taught artist George Wyllie is unveiled
Attraction dedicated to George Wyllie has been created at cruise liner terminal
He was the self-taught Scottish artist who made a name for himself after leaving behind his working life as a customs and excise officer.
George Wyllie, who was nearly 60 when he started working as a full-time artist, would draw much of his inspiration from the River Clyde and its industrial past.
Now the artist best known for his straw locomotive and paper boat creations is being celebrated in a dedicated waterfront gallery in Greenock that has been supported by his family and is now home to the biggest collection of Wyllie’s work anywhere in the world.
It has been created close to the Inverclyde town’s Custom House – where Wyllie worked for 30 years – as part of a £20 million cruise liner terminal building designed by the award-winning Scottish architect Richard Murphy, whose other projects include the Dundee Contemporary Arts complex, the Tolbooth Arts Centre in Stirling and an expansion of Perth Theatre.
Work by Wyllie, who passed away in 2012 at the age of 90, can be found across Scotland. They include the People’s Palace and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow, outside the city’s main bus station, and in Edinburgh, Motherwell, Lanark, Campbeltown, Perth, Oban, Caithness and the Outer Hebrides.
One of the few galleries in the UK inspired by the work of a single artist, The Wyllieum is the first new purpose-built art attraction to be created in Scotland since 2018, when V&A Dundee opened on the city’s waterfront.
It will chart the life story of Wyllie, who was born in Glasgow in 1921, trained as a Post Office engineer and served in the Royal Navy in the Second World War, before starting work as a customs and excise officer in Greenock.
It is hoped The Wyllieum, which has been created in one of the two “wings” of the new Greenock Ocean Terminal complex, will attract many of the 150,000 passengers who are expected to pass through it each year.
Visitors who venture into the gallery will be able to discover how Wyllie, whose solo exhibitions spanned more than 30 years, created work with salvaged materials like stainless steel, string, wire, stone and wood at his home overlooking the Clyde in nearby Gourock.
The Wyllieum, which opens to the public on Friday and is free to visit, will offer insights into the creation of his most celebrated works. These include a straw locomotive that was suspended from the Finnieston Crane in Glasgow, a paper boat that went on display on water around the world, including in New York, and his distinctive bird and “spire” sculptures.
The gallery also recalls Wyllie’s work on his acclaimed play, A Day Down a Goldmine, which was staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and is hoped to be revived at The Wyllieum, and his musical interests, which included playing double bass in local jazz bands.
The Wyllieum’s director, Will Cooper, said: “George had a decent pension when he left his job as a customs and excise officer. That gave him the freedom to make whatever he wanted each day. I’m sure there was some structure to it, but he was a bit like a shotgun in the way he spread his ideas around and made what came to mind.
"There was an unguarded and unchecked creativity about him. Some of his ideas worked better than others, but he produced such a big, broad brushstroke of stuff.
"One of the things about The Wyllieum opening around 40 years after he made a lot of his work is seeing the almost prophetic ideas he was having around colonialism, capitalism or the environment."
The Wyllieum was given the green light in 2019 when planning permission and funding was secured for the Greenock Ocean Terminal development, including £1.5m for the art gallery pledged to the George Wyllie Foundation by the Dunard Trust arts charity.
Mr Cooper said: “It’s only cruise liners that come into the terminal, between April and October. Most of the people coming off those boats will not have heard of George and will not be expecting to find an art gallery here. It's odd, it’s an eccentricity and it’s unlike anywhere else.
"But obviously we want to remind everyone that The Wyllieum is not just for people coming in to Greenock on cruise liners. Part of the reason it has been created here is that George worked 100 yards away and lived half a mile away. Inverclyde was in his blood and was a place he cared deeply about."
The Wyllieum, which features a host of the artist’s previously-unseen photographs and drawings, has been pursued by a foundation created by his family following the success of a year-long festival launched to coincide with his 90th birthday.
Mr Cooper said up to 80 per cent of the collection held at The Wyllieum, much of which has been donated by his family, will be on public display at any one time.
He said: “We want to be able to rotate stuff and change things. We don’t want it to be the same every time people come in. George never said the same thing over and over again in his work.”
Louise Wyllie, the artist’s daughter, said: “It has been a joy to witness fresh, energetic people such as Will Cooper lead on the future of bringing my father’s work to audiences old and new. In his job as a customs and excise officer, my father spent a lot of time at the docks in Greenock where The Wyllieum now sits. His family is invested in seeing this cultural space thrive.”
Greenock-born film and TV star Martin Compston said: “I’m so delighted to lend my support to The Wyllieum. I grew up in Greenock and it will always be a very special place to me. George Wyllie inspired so many people through his art and built an international reputation. It’s an incredibly powerful story of what can be achieved by anyone.”
5 things to do around Destin for mom on Mother's Day
Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and have you decided what you will do for that special person in your life?
If not, here are five ideas that can be done locally?
“Flowers are always appropriate,” says Becky Pavlic Edge of Pavlic’s Florist , 116A Benning Drive in Destin behind Sexton’s Seafood.
Edge said she got that piece of advice from a customer when she was first starting out in the flower business more than 50 years ago and never forgot it.
More: Pavlic's Florist opened before Destin was a city. 50 years later, it's still going strong
And if you’re looking to order flowers for mother and have them delivered for her special day – now is the time to get those orders in.
“Mother’s Day is the biggest holiday for flowers,” Edge said, noting orders have been coming in already.
“If you think ordering two or three days before is early ... it’s not,” she said. By then, she’ll already have 150 orders in front of you.
So, now is the time to get those orders in.
“The sooner the better,” she said.
Most order a mixed spring arrangement. But if you know what color momma likes, they can add that in.
Edge said the traditional flower for mom is carnations. Red carnations signify that her mother is still alive, while the white signifies her mother has died.
Whatever the order, “the sooner the better,” Edge said.
For more information or to place an order, visit Pavlicsflorist.com or call 850-837-6941.
Dining out is always a good treat for mom and especially on Mother’s Day.
Brotula’s Seafood House and Steamer on Destin harbor at 210D Harbor Blvd. will serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday starters on the menu for brunch include crispy fried calamari, hot crab dip, house smoked tuna dip with pita chips, celery and carrot sticks or crispy fried crab claws flash fried and made with Remoulade sauce to name a few.
Also included on the brunch menu are salads such as a black-and-blue chicken salad as well as a side salad made with assorted greens, tomatoes, red onions and Ranch dressing.
The lunch/brunch menu includes such delights as burgers, sandwiches, shrimp and grits, a Southern Chicken Benny, Southwestern omelet, French toast to name a few.
Seafood platters and waterfront buckets are always available for brunch as well.
Reservations are not required. If you can’t make it there for Mother’s Day, a gift card for another time would be great.
For more information about Brotula’s, visit Brotulas.com or call 850-460-8900.
Dolphin cruise
Has mom ever seen a dolphin up close? Or has she been for a cruise around the harbor, bay and even out into the Gulf of Mexico?
Well, a trip aboard the Southern Star Dolphin Cruise boat would check all those boxes.
The Southern Star, “Destin’s original dolphin cruise,” as touted on its website, has been featured on CNN and National Geographic. The Southern Star docks at HarborWalk Marina behind Margaritaville.
More: Miss Destin contestants set sail for annual cruise aboard Southern Star
Aboard the 80-foot, double-decked boat, mom will get the chance to see seabirds, other marine life and of course dolphins. The boat holds 140 people, has an air-conditioned cabin and bathrooms.
On Mother’s Day, the Southern Star has two cruises scheduled. The first sets sail at 4 p.m. and the other at 6 p.m. for the sunset dolphin cruise.
Both cruises, which are narrated, last an hour-and-a-half. Although no coolers are allowed aboard the vessel, they do offer hotdogs, snacks, soda, beer and wine.
Reservations are suggested. Also, if you cannot make it out on Mother’s Day for the dolphin cruise, gift cards are always available for mom to use another day.
For more information about the Southern Star visit their website at Southernstardolphincruise.com or call 850-837-7441.
Float Brothers Float Spa is not your usual spa.
Located at 4463 Commons Drive W. in Unit 10B, Float Brothers is open every day but Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Float Spa is just that — you float to relieve pressure and stress.
More: Weightless Pregnancy
“With the elements of 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt (Magnesium Sulfate) at a depth of 10 inches of water heated to 94-degree homeostasis these pods help to heal not only the body but also the mind,” according to the Float Spa’s website.
And for Mother’s Day, Float Spa is offering a special just for mom.
From 2016: Relax and float awhile: New float therapy spa coming to Destin
“We are doing a two-float special for $89 which is two 60-minute floats,” said Michael Hineline, manager of Float Brothers.
Moms will also get a gift to go with the float.
“Customers can choose between a soap, a couple of bath bombs or a towel,” Hineline said.
Appointments can be scheduled for that day or people can buy a gift card and then mom can come float whenever, he said.
What makes Float Spa different?
"It’s the Epsom salt ... getting the noise and cutting the chaos, checking in with your breath and being in an anti-gravity environment,” Hineline said.
“It takes a lot of pressure, both mentally and physically, off your body and the stress of what motherhood is all about,” Hineline said.
Float Spa has started a nonprofit and will be giving free floats to pregnant moms on Wednesday, May 8.
For more information, visit Floatbrothers.com or call 850-460-8720.
SunQuest Cruises aboard the Solaris Yacht will be celebrating mom with two cruises on Mother’s Day, brunch and sunset.
The Solaris, docked at Baytowne Marina in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, is a 125-foot yacht with three decks of indoor and outdoor spaces that cruises around Choctawhatchee Bay, according to the Sunquest Cruises website.
The Mother’s Day Brunch Cruise is two and half hours, while the Sunset Dinner Cruise is 3 hours.
“Make reservations as early as possible,” said Samantha Moeller, business development manager with Sunquest, noting there are 149 spots for each cruise.
What to expect on the brunch cruise?
A two-course brunch with a waterfront view. There will be a full-service bar open to purchase mimosas, Bloody Marys and more, according to its website.
What to expect for sunset dinner cruise?
A three-course meal with live entertainment as the sun sets on Choctawhatchee Bay. Music can be heard on all three decks. And your ticket for the cruise includes iced tea, coffee and water. The bar will be open to purchase drinks.
3 Hospitalized After Knife Attack on Party Boat in New York City Along Brooklyn Waterfront
Police in New York City say a knife attack on a crowded party boat at a pier in Brooklyn has resulted in the hospitalization of three people
NEW YORK (AP) — A knife attack on a crowded party boat at a New York City pier Saturday resulted in the hospitalization of three people, police said.
A 911 call came in around 5 p.m. reporting the assault along the Brooklyn waterfront near 58th Street and the Brooklyn Army Terminal warehouse, NYPD Detective Sophia Mason said.
The victims were said to be a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to the torso, a 40-year-old man with stab wounds to the chest and abdomen and a 28-year-old man who was hit in the head with a bottle. They were taken to the NYU Langone Hospital and were in stable condition, Mason said.
Two more people were treated for injuries at the scene, but they declined further medical treatment, according to the fire department.
There were no arrests as of Saturday evening and the investigation was ongoing.
Around 3,000 people were aboard the vessel, the Cornucopia Majesty, at the time, police said. An event called BYFAROnABoat, which had advertised daytime and nighttime parties on the boat boarding at the Brooklyn Army Terminal on Saturday, said in a statement posted on social media that a “crime scene developed by the pier.” As a result, the night event was postponed.

“BYFAR Entertainment has always been a beacon of safe events in New York City and this rare occurrence has never been the norm with us,” the statement said.
The pier at the army terminal, a former military supply base that houses industrial businesses, is used by the city's ferry service and private vessels.
Party cruises are a fixture in the waters off New York City in the warmer months, typically carrying DJs playing to large crowds as they take in views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. The city in the past has moved to restrict where and how late they can dock on the southern Brooklyn waterfront, following complaints from some area residents.
