 Once again, The Moorings has picked up a Beneteau offering, this time the new Beneteau 43, added its own equipment specification, and fitted it out for charter. Three cabins and three heads make this an ideal size for three couples. Leopard 43 is a 42 ′ 5 ″ / 13 m catamaran sailboat designed by Simonis Voogd Design and built by Robertson & Caine between 2004 and 2007. Rig and SailsAuxilary power, accomodations, calculations. Designed to determine if a boat has blue water capability. The CSF compares beam with displacement since excess beam contributes to capsize and heavy displacement reduces capsize vulnerability. The boat is better suited for ocean passages (vs coastal cruising) if the result of the calculation is 2.0 or less.
