The 81m/265'9" 'Air' motor yacht built by the Dutch shipyard Feadship is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Remi Tessier.

With an abundance of space and superlative amenities across her luxurious decks, you'll be spoilt for choice on a luxury yacht charter aboard Air. Her features include a helipad, beauty salon, movie theatre, spa, elevator and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2011, Air offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, four double cabins and one twin cabin. There are 8 beds in total, including 1 king, 5 queen and 2 singles. There are up to twenty-two crew members on board to provide outstanding service on your charter.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a state-of-the-art movie theatre for movie nights. The yacht is home to a beauty salon, where guests can enjoy a number of beauty treatments or take a break from a busy itinerary in the steam room. For the ultimate relaxation experience, she plays host to a luxury spa plus the swimming pool is perfect for exercising or admiring a romantic sunrise. A gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out and in addition soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Access to the most exotic destinations is easy thanks to the helipad or stay connected to the outside world on long voyages with satellite communications. Take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times plus you can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 177,000 litre fuel tanks. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Air has aboard a plentiful range of water toys and accessories ready to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Principle among these are two Laser sailboats to bring out the explorer in you. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. You'll be loving the huge adrenaline rush as you zip over the water on one of the two WaveRunners. If that isn't enough Air also features waterskis, a Kite Surfer, scuba diving equipment, wakeboards, kayaks and much more. Air has a 10m/32'10" Southern Ocean Marine Open Tender to transfer you from ship to shore.

Special Features

Air was the first superyacht ever built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad. Her unique matt black hull was painted with a specialised and eco-friendly nano coating technique.

Air is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

The 81-metre Air was completed in 2011 for repeat clients as the first superyacht built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad. The owners had stated their intention to showcase the unique matt black hull to the world and within the first six years clocked up around 80,000 nautical miles' the equivalent of three and a half circumnavigations. Such a high amount of cruising obviously necessitates keeping any yacht in tip-top condition and the owners of Air know that Feadship is the best place by far to do that. In 2017 the Makkum yard prepared a tank capacity upgrade of 45,600 litres and conducted various works throughout the vessel. In 2011 we repainted Air's superstructure, applied antifoul, made adaptations to the helicopter deck to accommodate larger craft, and carried out a range of technical maintenance activities and upgrades.

Superyacht AIR is an impressive 81m (265'7'') steel and aluminium vessel, launched by Feadship in 2011 and refitted in 2017. Her exterior design and naval architecture were designed by De Voogt. Feadship motor yacht AIR has an interior designed by Remi Tessier Design and she was built at Koninklijke de Vries Scheepbouw with engineering design by De Vries and De Voogt. She accommodates her 12 guests in 7 roomy staterooms and all of her guest cabins have separate ensuite bathrooms.

AIR Specifications

Luxury yacht AIR has her exterior designed by Remi Tessier in conjunction with the yacht’s owners. The artwork has been creatively used to decorate her interior, working harmoniously with the yacht's design.

Air yacht's interior is large and spacious, in the common areas such as saloon and dining room, and these flow naturally outside through the large window and open doorway to similarly generous outdoor entertainment areas on aft and sundeck. At 81 metres in length, and with a beam of 11,6 metres, there is plenty of space on this outstanding vessel.

Yacht Accommodation

Accommodation on board AIR comprises seven beautiful appointed staterooms. The main deck offers a master suite with a king-sized double bed, his and her bathroom with a shower and bath each, as well as his and her dressing room. On the same deck, there is the very spacious VIP suite with a double bed, en suite bathroom with a shower and a bath as well as a dressing area. The bridge deck features two guest staterooms; one to Portside and one to Starboard. The Portside stateroom has a double bed and a shower, while the starboard stateroom has a double bed with a bath and shower. The lower deck boasts further three guest staterooms, including two with a double bed and shower and bath, and one twin stateroom with a dressing area and a shower.

Motor Yacht

Air has an exceptionally sleek and elegant exterior with modern lines, while also incorporating a distinctive Feadship flared bow. She is the first superyacht built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad. This requirement represented a major challenge in terms of styling, and the designers at De Voogt Naval Architects have achieved something very special indeed by ensuring that Air’s elongated aft deck remains in perfect proportion to the rest of the giant yacht. Meanwhile, her unique matt black hull has been painted with a specialised and environmentally friendly nano coating technique.

A highly sophisticated minimalistic design makes for a stunning interior. Main materials used include matt-finished sycamore, leather, matt-finished special paint, high gloss stainless steel, palladium leaf, back-lit white onyx, off-white & black limestone and a wealth of carve glass.

An undoubted highlight in terms of the luxury spaces is the owners’ observation lounge with a breathtaking vista over the eight-metre long pool on the vast main deck forward area. Great views are also assured from the magnificent sun deck, which offers many relaxation options such as a gym, lounging areas aft and forward with Jacuzzi, and a 102” pop-up television screen for outdoor movie viewing. Air carries two 9.8-metre tenders in dedicated and fully enclosed bays. There is also a large foldable swimming platform with bar from which to watch the world go by. Air is exclusively available for charter via IYR (International Yacht Register) and the Feadship charter division.
