Riva 76 Perseo Review: A Classic Sportfly

riva yacht 76 perseo

Officially presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Riva 76 Perseo has already charmed three buyers and impressed the jury of the Invictus Yachts Trophies. The winner of two awards is off to a dazzling start indeed

This fresh-looking coupe – or, officially, sportfly – is the result of a collaboration between the Officina Italiana Design studio, responsible for the design of the entire Riva range, and the Ferretti Group – owner of the Riva Yacht – itself. The Perseo is a 23 meters long, sleek, sporty little yacht whose aesthetic is based on its bold color scheme: metallic Moon Gray for the hull and the superstructure, Bright Black and gleaming stainless steel for equipment and other details.

Riva 76 Perseo design

Riva 76 Perseo

This sporty design is primarily based on proportions, as it has a rather small superstructure with expansive glass areas (which promise  and deliver brightness inside). The Perseo’s aft is well proportioned, featuring a generous swimming platform with two staircases that flank the garage.

An original, functional and modern Riva yacht

A retractable hydraulic gangway gives access to the teak-lined cockpit with lots of high-quality hardware, and impressively designed perforated stainless steel guards. The Riva 76 Perseo we reviewed had a cockpit furnished with a sofa and a lounge/dining area, and is a pleasant, friendly outdoor space. On the port side, the stairs lead to the flybridge or towards the bow, along with the stylish handrail incorporated into the design of the superstructure.

The front deck is a true relaxation area, with a bench seat facing forward and a large sunbathing area at the very bow. When observed from the dock, the Perseo’s flybridge is almost invisible to the eye and is masterfully integrated into the general profile of the superstructure.

Its layout is straightforward, with a U-shaped bench that surrounds the forward area, and a bench that becomes the captain’s seat when the optional retractable wheelhouse is in use.

Riva 76 Perseo

The final touch on the flybridge is the sunpad behind the bench seat, using the space most often underutilized on sports coupes. The main deck is separated from the cockpit by an electric panel that folds away to create a continuity between the Perseo’s exterior and interior.

Riva 76 Perseo interior

This main deck itself is split onto three ‘open space’ areas, including the living room (complete with L-Shaped sofa) dining room (6-seats) and wheelhouse (with two seats) and as we mentioned earlier, the Perseo’s huge glass area bathes these special places with natural light.

Riva 88 Folgore motoryacht

Yachting Riva 88 Folgore Review: Italian Lightning Bolt

Taking the stairs leading to the lower deck, we arrived into the lobby which gives access to the three cabins and closed kitchen. We head amidships to visit the master stateroom, which spans the entire width of the hull and is wonderfully lit, thanks to its gigantic hull ports. A walk-in wardrobe, luxurious marble bathroom and a sitting area complete this idyllic setting. A guest cabin with twin beds can be found starboard, with the VIP occupying its classic space in the bow.

Riva 76 Perseo

The skipper of the Perseo we tested , Michele, was proud of his boat and bragged about its power the first chance he got: two MAN V12 engines producing 18.00hp each (1.550 hp in the standard version). During the test, we confirmed the figures given by the yard – with 500 liters of water and 3,000 liters of fuel on board, we achieved 37.3 knots at 2350rpm, with Perseo’s new hull well-behaved and balanced at all times. With this lovely new model, Riva has created a new classic sportfly.

Riva 76 Perseo specs

The Italian brand has perfectly preserved its roots, while designing an original, functional and modern yacht. The Perseo may be adventurous and pushes the boundaries in design, but it is without a doubt a full-blooded Riva.

Description

In 2015, the Italian shipyard Riva presented the result of a joint work with Officina Italiana Design - a 76 Perseo sports bridge yacht with a length of 23.25 m and a draft of 1.9 m. In 2016, the model became available for purchase. The new vessel brought the brand seven major awards in the field of yachting, including the Best of the Best Awards Best Motor Yacht to 100 Feet.

The design of the Riva 76 Perseo was designed by Mauro Miqueli and Sergio Beretta, the founders of Officina Italiana Design, as well as a team of specialists from the Ferretti Group.

On board the motor yacht there are three cabins that can accommodate up to six guests, and one for the crew, three bathrooms with showers.

In the bow of the vessel is an outdoor recreation area with a semicircular sofa and couch. The lobby on the rear deck and the relaxation area on the upper platform are equipped with sofas, a table, optionally you can add a vet bar. The control panel with two seats is equipped with all the necessary instruments for navigation.

The Riva 76 Perseo has two MAN V12 engines with 1,550 hp each, thanks to them the maximum speed of the vessel is 33 knots, cruising - 28 knots. At the request of the owner, the motor vessel can be equipped with MAN V12 with a total capacity of 3600 hp, then 76 Perseo will accelerate to 37 knots.

76′ Riva Perseo

76rivaperseo

The Riva Perseo 76 Sportfly, a coupe motor yacht, is another masterpiece of design from Officina Italiana Design, the premier design firm that has collaborated with Riva since 1984 to create the signature Riva style recognized worldwide. The 76 Sportfly’s stunning, sleek profile with racy lines and over 430 sq ft of tinted glass serve another purpose—relaxation in privacy. Outdoor spaces, such as the flybridge are ingeniously integrated into the superstructure’s profile so as to render it nearly invisible when viewed from dockside. The secluded forward deck area with seating pit and bow sunpad is protected by high bulwarks with integrated handrails that accentuate the Perseo 76’s sporty lines. The cockpit/aft deck is on the same level as the main salon and features a curved settee built into the high transom, along with table and chairs for al fresco dining and socializing. The aft salon glass panels can be opened up to combine both spaces for a vast indoor/ outdoor entertainment area.

20 No Essay Scholarships You Should Apply For

With the rising cost of higher education, it’s important to secure as much financial aid for school as possible. You may not realize it, but you probably already qualify for dozens of scholarships.  You may be a competitor for awards because of your strong GPA, academic area of interest, hobbies, or even because you graduated high school in a particular county.

While there are many scholarships that require you to submit a long list of supporting documentation, not all applications are so taxing. The list below offers information on 20 scholarships that do not require you to write a personal essay or statement of academic goals.

These no essay scholarships save you time and energy and could result in you garnering hundreds or thousands of dollars in free money for school.

Tips When Applying To These Scholarships

Here are a couple of things to consider while compiling your no essay scholarship applications. Bear in mind that even no essay scholarships will require you to submit at least a few important documents. Be sure that you meet all of the submission requirements for each scholarship, as each one will ask for specific information. The 10 Best No Essay Scholarships

So many students have been there before.

They filled out their application to the best of their abilities, they applied to every internal scholarship imaginable at their hopeful college, and they calculated their odds of winning certain awards ad nauseum.

And then the acceptance letter comes in, and it’s cause for such a wonderful celebration. Getting into university is incredibly difficult, and you’ve done it.

But then there’s the second letter—the financial aid award letter. And for so many students, that award just isn’t enough to keep a student from navigating debt for many years to come.

Even for those students who can utilize internal, university-wide funding to mitigate their tuition costs, having external funding sources will always make a big difference in one’s attempts to finance their education.

But there are a lot of scholarships out there. And many of them will provide wonderful opportunities, but in order to make the most of one’s scholarship hunt to ensure they will receive enough external aid to impact their tuition costs, they’ll need to apply for a lot of scholarships.

School, work, and attempts to make the most of one’s teenage/early 20s can make the prospect of writing dozens of scholarship essays and answering a plethora of scholarship questions daunting.

But there are scholarships out there that provide actual money, which one can apply to in mere minutes. And although the odds of winning such scholarships can be slim, it never hurts to cast as wide of a net as possible.

And no-essay scholarships are a simple addition to one’s list of scholarship applications that increase one’s chances of receiving funding without increasing the number of hours one spends on the scholarship hunt.

As such, this article will break down 10 of the best no-essay scholarships out there.

In making this list, attention was given to the legitimacy of the scholarship organization, the amount of funding each scholarship provided, and the range of students who would be eligible to apply for the scholarship.

As such, no one student has a significantly greater chance of winning the no-essay scholarship compared to another.

ScholarshipPoints $10,000 Scholarship

ScholarshipPoints hosts a variety of no-essay scholarship contests, with the largest of these having a $10,000 value .

ScholarshipPoints operates by having students gain “scholarship points” by doing things like surveys, watching ads, or engaging with website sponsors.

Then, students spend these points to enter scholarship sweepstakes.

One point spent is the equivalent of 1 entry in the random drawing of scholarship winners.

The more points one spends in entering a scholarship, the more likely it is that a student will win the said scholarship.

As such, not only do Scholarship points offer the large, $10,000 no-essay scholarship, but several no-essay scholarships in which spending scholarship points takes the place of writing a formal scholarship application.

Even if the chances of winning can be slim for some of these scholarships, it is real money that real winners have received in the past.

No Essay Scholarships 2023, Unlocking Opportunities Stress-Free

In the fast-paced world of education, scholarships have become a vital lifeline for students seeking financial assistance to pursue their academic dreams. Among the various types of scholarships available, “no essay scholarships” have gained significant attention due to their convenience and accessibility. These scholarships offer students a chance to unlock opportunities without the daunting task of writing lengthy essays. In this article, we will delve into the world of no essay scholarships in 2023, exploring their benefits, application process, and how they are reshaping the landscape of higher education financing.

Understanding No Essay Scholarships:

No essay scholarships, as the name suggests, are scholarships that do not require applicants to submit lengthy written essays as part of their application process. Instead of focusing on written content, these scholarships often have different criteria for eligibility, application, and selection. This can include anything from random drawings, creative projects, online quizzes, or even just completing a simple registration form. The primary objective of these scholarships is to provide students with an alternative way to secure funding for their education while minimizing the time and effort required for application.

Benefits of No Essay Scholarships:

Benefits of No Essay Scholarships are given below:

1. Accessibility:

One of the major advantages of no essay scholarships is their accessibility. Traditional scholarships that require extensive essays might discourage some students from applying due to time constraints, lack of confidence in writing, or other commitments. No essay scholarships eliminate these barriers, making it easier for a wider range of students to apply.

2. Time Efficiency:

Traditional scholarship applications can be time-consuming, requiring applicants to invest substantial effort in crafting well-written essays. No essay scholarships free up students’ time, allowing them to focus on their studies, extracurricular activities, and other important aspects of their education.

3. Diversity and Creativity:

No essay scholarships often embrace diversity and creativity in their application processes. Some scholarships might ask applicants to create a video, design a poster, or even compose a short poem. This approach enables students to showcase their unique skills and talents beyond just writing ability.

4. Stress Reduction:

Applying for scholarships can be stressful, especially when multiple essays are involved. No essay scholarships alleviate this stress by simplifying the application process, making it a more relaxed experience for students.

Application Process for No Essay Scholarships:

The application process for no essay scholarships varies depending on the scholarship provider. However, there are some common steps that students can expect:

1. Research Scholarship Opportunities:

Students should start by researching available no essay scholarships. Numerous online platforms and scholarship databases provide information about these opportunities, along with eligibility criteria and application deadlines.

2. Check Eligibility:

Each scholarship has specific eligibility requirements, which could include factors such as academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, or personal background. Students need to ensure they meet these requirements before applying.

3. Prepare Necessary Documents:

While no essay scholarships don’t require traditional essays, applicants might still need to provide other documents, such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, or proof of enrollment. It’s essential to gather these materials in advance.

4. Complete Applications for No Essay Scholarships:

Some scholarships might require applicants to fill out online forms, take quizzes, or complete creative projects. It’s crucial to follow the instructions carefully and provide accurate information.

5. Respect Deadlines for No Essay Scholarships:

Meeting application deadlines is crucial. Even though no essay scholarships are often less time-consuming, students should still submit their applications well before the closing date.

Reshaping Higher Education Financing:

No essay scholarships have contributed to reshaping the landscape of higher education financing in several ways:

1. Inclusivity:

By eliminating the need for lengthy essays, no essay scholarships promote inclusivity. Students who might not excel in writing but possess other valuable skills have an equal chance to access financial aid.

2. Innovation in Application:

Scholarship providers have embraced innovation in their application processes, encouraging students to think outside the box and explore new ways of presenting themselves. This approach aligns with the evolving demands of the modern world.

3. Encouraging Creativity:

No essay scholarships often encourage creativity, allowing students to express themselves in diverse ways. This fosters a spirit of innovation and self-expression among scholarship applicants.

4. Redefining Merit:

Traditional scholarships often focus on academic achievements alone. No essay scholarships redefine merit by considering a broader range of talents and attributes that students bring to the table.

In the dynamic realm of higher education, no essay scholarships have emerged as a game-changer in 2023. With their accessibility, time efficiency, and promotion of creativity, no essay scholarships are reshaping the way students fund their education. As the landscape of scholarship applications continues to evolve, embracing inclusivity, innovation, and diverse talents, the future looks promising for students seeking to achieve their academic aspirations.

CollegeXpress has helped me find scholarships to apply for and look into more colleges. While there are many websites similar to CollegeXpress, every website is different, and I've found a lot of good insight on this website. Receiving emails from CollegeXpress about scholarships is extremely useful, and getting insight about colleges near, far, and anywhere in between helps me narrow down my choices to what I want, which is also super helpful. The articles are always really good reads, and I can't stress enough how helpful this website has been to me. Anything related to college is beneficial to me as a senior, and I have learned lots of useful things to help me on my college journey this year.

CollegeXpress helped me find Allegheny College with the super-user-friendly search tool for both schools and scholarships. Using CollegeXpress, I was able to search for programs I was interested in studying and find colleges that offered those programs. Also, once you search for the college, CollegeXpress can get you connected!

CollegeXpress showed me that Western New England University was a great match for me both with curriculum and location. CollegeXpress is an excellent resource both future and current college students.

CollegeXpress helped in my journey by comparing multiple colleges for my final decision. While looking at different colleges, I was able to compare the tuition expenses and that landed me with the college that I’m currently enrolled in, Western Kentucky University. Thank you!

1. Apply to as many easy scholarships as possible.

Given that many of these scholarships are lottery-based, it’s easy to apply. Even those that have short essays require minimal time to complete the application process, so they won’t eat up too much of your day. You can maximize your chances of winning one by applying to as many as possible.

Additionally, many of these scholarships you can apply to every month. Make a schedule and fill out the simple online forms for each drawing.

2. Balance easy scholarships out with more specific ones.

You shouldn’t focus solely on “easy” scholarships since your odds of winning are much lower. Because applying to these scholarships takes minimal effort, they draw a high number of entrants. This means your odds of winning are lower than they are for scholarships with a more rigorous application process.

If you apply to scholarships that are tailored to your profile and require more of a time commitment to enter, you will increase your award potential. That might mean entering scholarship contests for people who share your background or demographics or for students intending to study a certain discipline. Find more opportunities on the scholarship section of our blog .

3. Apply to schools with generous merit scholarships.

Most scholarship money comes from schools themselves and not external providers. Many schools consider students for merit scholarships just based on their application, so it’s no extra work; in fact, many schools have automatic scholarships based on SAT/ACT scores . Applying to schools where you’re in the top 75th percentile or above in terms of grades and test scores can maximize your chances of getting merit scholarships.

Autonomy and Its Limits A Discussion of the Shortcomings of Informed Consent

INTRODUCTION

Medicine is intertwined with promotion of positive health while prioritizing a patient’s diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. The prioritization of a patient’s needs stems from a branch of morality called biomedical ethics, which focuses on moral principles that arise in healthcare, medical research. [1] Biomedical ethics serves to provide a framework for addressing complex medical questions while safeguarding the rights, dignity, and well-being of individuals. 1 Often times in healthcare, decisions made by physicians and patients result in beneficence and/or maleficence. Beneficence implies that healthcare professionals and institutions have a moral duty to act in a patient’s best interest by providing positive health outcomes while minimizing harm (maleficence). 1 As a result of biomedical ethics’ emphasis on beneficence and maleficence, healthcare is designed to respect a patient’s needs, beliefs, and decisions. The practice of allowing patients to make their own medical decisions is called autonomy, and it is vital to biomedical ethics because it emphasizes the concerns of the patient. [2] However, it is difficult to ensure that a person has autonomy over their medical decision-making if they are not fully informed about the circumstances of their health or treatment options.

Thus, an important aspect of biomedical ethics is informed consent. Informed consent is a practice in healthcare and research where individuals must voluntarily agree to or decline medical care after being educated about their medical condition. [3] Informed consent protects an individual’s right to express their beliefs and make educated decisions about their health. Furthermore, there is an important distinction to be made between voluntary consent and informed consent. While informed consent emphasizes that individuals are fully educated and comprehend information about a procedure, voluntary consent maintains that a person must freely and willingly make decisions without any form of pressure or coercion. 3 While a patient might be educated or informed about their health, they might not have the power to voluntarily make medical choices. Thus, consent must be both informed and voluntary to ensure that a patient is fully educated while preserving the right to make medical decisions. Without autonomy and (voluntary) informed consent, individuals would be deprived of their freedom to make educated medical choices, leading to interventions that do not align with their wishes or desires. However, autonomy and informed consent also have severe limitations and barriers, specifically when it comes to the informedness gap, cognitive capacity, and underestimation or overestimation of treatment risks.

According to author Onora O’Neill, the informedness gap occurs when patients may not fully understand the complex medical information provided to them by their physician. [4] The informedness gap is especially prevalent when medical professionals discuss complex procedures or treatments, as the patients may feel overwhelmed by the information and not make truly informed decisions. In addition to the informedness gap, limited cognitive capacity and mental health can hinder effective communication and informed consent. [5] When patients are unable to provide informed consent due to factors like dementia, mental illness, or unconsciousness, ensuring thorough communication and education becomes extremely challenging. 4

Additionally, it is important to consider how informed consent is limited by underestimation or overestimation of treatment risks. Patients may be overly optimistic about the success of a treatment or procedure, thereby underestimating the likelihood of complications or adverse outcomes. On the other hand, patients may possess fear and anxiety, causing them to overestimate the effects of treatment. Anxiety can cause a heightened perception of risk, which can lead to refusal of beneficial treatments, despite the presence of objective medical evidence. [6] Overall, these limitations of informed consent demonstrate that even when a patient is educated about their health, they still might not be fully knowledgeable when making medical decisions. In fact, while patients have the power of autonomy to make medical choices, the limitations of informed consent can have fatal effects. This becomes abundantly clear when looking at the case study of the world-famous musician, Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson’s death was the result of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication. Propofol and benzodiazepine are extremely powerful medications commonly used for ICU sedation. [7] Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's personal physician, was involved in Jackson’s care leading up to his death and played a central role in the events surrounding it. To briefly summarize the case, Michael Jackson was experiencing chronic insomnia and sought medical treatment after struggling to sleep for months. [8] Initially, Dr. Murray prescribed conventional anti-anxiety medications to help the artist sleep, but he was unsuccessful in resolving Jackson’s symptoms. 7 Without coercing the artist, Dr. Murray offered to administer the powerful anesthetics, propofol and benzodiazepine. After Dr. Murray’s brief description of the effects of propofol and benzodiazepine, Jackson voluntarily agreed to this treatment. 7 Initially, the treatment was a success, but Jackson was unaware of the significant toll these sedatives had on his health. On June 25th, 2009, after 2 and a half months of treatment, Jackson experienced severe propofol intoxication, causing him to die from cardiac arrest. [9]

Clearly, this case highlights how limitations of informed consent, specifically the informedness gap and underestimation of treatment risks, can have fatal consequences. Michael Jackson was granted the autonomy to make medical decisions about treatments for his insomnia, and he was briefly informed that propofol and benzodiazepine are potent sedatives. 7 However, according to the artist’s family, Jackson wasn’t fully educated about the level of addictivity and long-term ramifications of the drugs he was administered. 8 The Jackson family cited that while the artist voluntarily agreed to treatment, his chronic sleep deprivation caused him to underestimate the effects of his medication. The family explained that Jackson lacked the mental capacity to make informed decisions about his health. 8 Perhaps the outcome of this case may have been different if Dr. Murray had fully explored alternatives for treatment or made a thorough effort to fully educate Jackson about the effects of propofol. Additionally, it is difficult to discredit how sleep deprivation hindered Jackson’s ability to make rational decisions about his health. 8 While it is true that Dr. Murray informed Michael Jackson about the strength of the sedatives he was administered, that doesn’t mean Jackson fully understood the treatment’s consequences or the weight of his decision.

Furthermore, Michael Jackson didn’t suffer from the limitations of informed consent because of his unique status as a celebrity; Jackson is not an exception from the norm. Research suggests that factors such as limited interaction time between patients and physicians causes an informedness gap in about 1 out of every 3 people. [10] Michael Jackson had the wealth and resources to be informed about his health; he could have employed any doctor to provide his treatment. Yet, the average person does not have the resources to employ their own doctor or be thoroughly educated about their health. 10 If Michael Jackson wasn’t fully informed about his medical condition or treatment, it is likely that the average person is uninformed as well.

To put it simply, autonomy and informed consent ensure that individuals can express their personal beliefs while making educated decisions about their health. However, it is crucial to consider the limitations of informed consent such as the informedness gap, cognitive capacity, and misjudgment of treatment risks. How useful is autonomy and informed consent if patients lack the ability to think clearly, logically, and holistically about their health? [11] The tragic case of Michael Jackson exemplifies how limitations of informed consent have profound consequences. Although Jackson was informed about the risks associated with propofol and voluntarily agreed to his treatment, he was not fully aware of the drug’s long-term ramifications. If healthcare seeks to achieve positive health outcomes, there is an ongoing need for effective communication and patient education to address the limitations of autonomy and informed consent.

For the first time Rosatom Fuel Division supplied fresh nuclear fuel to the world’s only floating nuclear cogeneration plant in the Arctic

The fuel was supplied to the northernmost town of Russia along the Northern Sea Route.

The first in the history of the power plant refueling, that is, the replacement of spent nuclear fuel with fresh one, is planned to begin before 2024. The manufacturer of nuclear fuel for all Russian nuclear icebreakers, as well as the Akademik Lomonosov FNPP, is Machinery Manufacturing Plant, Joint-Stock Company (MSZ JSC), a company of Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL that is based in Elektrostal, Moscow Region.

The FNPP includes two KLT-40S reactors of the icebreaking type. Unlike convenient ground-based large reactors (that require partial replacement of fuel rods once every 12-18 months), in the case of these reactors, the refueling takes place once every few years and includes unloading of the entire reactor core and loading of fresh fuel into the reactor.

The cores of KLT-40 reactors of the Akademik Lomonosov floating power unit have a number of advantages compared to the reference ones: a cassette core was used for the first time in the history of the unit, which made it possible to increase the fuel energy resource to 3-3.5 years between refuelings, and also reduce the fuel component of the electricity cost by one and a half times. The FNPP operating experience formed the basis for the designs of reactors for nuclear icebreakers of the newest series 22220. Three such icebreakers have been launched by now.

For the first time the power units of the Akademik Lomonosov floating nuclear power plant were connected to the grid in December 2019, and put into commercial operation in May 2020. The supply of nuclear fuel from Elektrostal to Pevek and its loading into the second reactor is planned for 2024. The total power of the Akademik Lomonosov FNPP, supplied to the coastal grid of Pevek without thermal energy consumption on shore, is about 76 MW, being about 44 MW in the maximum thermal power supply mode. The FNPP generated 194 million kWh according to the results of 2023. The population of Pevek is just a little more than 4 thousand, while the FNPP has a potential for supplying electricity to a city with a population of up to 100 thousand people. After the FNPP commissioning two goals were achieved. These include first of all the replacement of the retiring capacities of the Bilibino NPP, which has been operating since 1974, as well as the Chaunskaya TPP, which has already been operating for more than 70 years. Secondly, energy is supplied to the main mining companies in western Chukotka in the Chaun-Bilibino energy hub a large ore and metal cluster, including gold mining companies and projects related to the development of the Baimsk ore zone. In September 2023, a 110 kilovolt power transmission line with a length of 490 kilometers was put into operation, connecting the towns of Pevek and Bilibino. The line increased the reliability of energy supply from the FNPP to both Bilibino consumers and mining companies, the largest of which is the Baimsky GOK. The comprehensive development of the Russian Arctic is a national strategic priority. To increase the NSR traffic is of paramount importance for accomplishment of the tasks set in the field of cargo shipping. This logistics corridor is being developed due regular freight voyages, construction of new nuclear-powered icebreakers and modernization of the relevant infrastructure. Rosatom companies are actively involved in this work. Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL (Rosatom Fuel Division) includes companies fabricating nuclear fuel, converting and enriching uranium, manufacturing gas centrifuges, conducting researches and producing designs. As the only nuclear fuel supplier to Russian NPPs, TVEL supplies fuel for a total of 75 power reactors in 15 countries, for research reactors in nine countries, as well as for propulsion reactors of the Russian nuclear fleet. Every sixth power reactor in the world runs on TVEL fuel. Rosatom Fuel Division is the world’s largest producer of enriched uranium and the leader on the global stable isotope market. The Fuel Division is actively developing new businesses in chemistry, metallurgy, energy storage technologies, 3D printing, digital products, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. TVEL also includes Rosatom integrators for additive technologies and electricity storage systems. Rosenergoatom, Joint-Stock Company is part of Rosatom Electric Power Division and one of the largest companies in the industry acting as an operator of nuclear power plants. It includes, as its branches, 11 operating NPPs, including the FNPP, the Scientific and Technical Center for Emergency Operations at NPPs, Design and Engineering as well as Technological companies. In total, 37 power units with a total installed capacity of over 29.5 GW are in operation at 11 nuclear power plants in Russia. Machinery Manufacturing Plant, Joint-Stock Company (MSZ JSC, Elektrostal) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of fuel for nuclear power plants. The company produces fuel assemblies for VVER-440, VVER-1000, RBMK-1000, BN-600,800, VK-50, EGP-6; powders and fuel pellets intended for supply to foreign customers. It also produces nuclear fuel for research reactors. The plant belongs to the TVEL Fuel Company of Rosatom.
