Currently the largest superyacht attending this year’s edition, the 50m/164ft motor yacht ‘Silver Lining’ will be on display at the Palm Beach Boat Show between 22nd-25th March.

Defined by her opulent interior and equipped with a series of standout features, superyacht Silver Lining is sure to draw in the eyes of discerning visitors in Florida later this month.

Fittingly, she was built at the Christensen shipyard in Washington, and spent her debut charter season in American waters last year.

Unsurprisingly, her multifunctional skylounge and large bow Jacuzzi made her one of the finest yachts for charter in Miami and the surrounding islands.

What are the key features of superyacht Silver Linings?

The standout elements of superyacht Silver Linings include the bespoke stonework in the main salon and lobby, all created at Christensen’s in-house stone workshop. Likewise, the laid back design of the sky lounge allows charter guests to catch a movie on state of the art audio visual system.

The exterior is just as remarkable, with the bow Jacuzzi annexed by a full-size bar which runs the entire length of the sundeck. Situated beneath shading, guests on a luxury yacht charter are able to enjoy their cocktails and surroundings in superior comfort.

Silver Lining

Yacht charter, description.

Silver Lining is a 3 stateroom open layout with a voluminous 20’6” beam and numerous luxury packages. The main salon opens with stainless steel sliding doors, revealing a wet bar to port with granite counter top, a U-Line refrigerator and ice maker, sink with faucet and glass-front cabinet with a complete set of stemware. Forward of the bar is an elongated L-shaped loose sofa, and to starboard is beautiful cabinetry containing a 42” color TV as well as additional seating with a love seat. A unique overhead skylight in the center of salon allows for a tremendous amount of natural light. The “open” design features the galley forward of the salon. She boasts a beautiful aft deck table for dining, as well as a sundeck to lay out and catch some rays.

Accommodation

Stairs lead down to the staterooms, which include a master, VIP and a twin cabin. The master features double entrance doors with a wood engraved pattern in the foyer landing leading into the stateroom. Included in the master suite is a Kingsize mattress, pop-up vanity table with chair, escape hatch into galley, color TV, full height hanging locker and half-height cabinet with (4) large drawers, (2) nightstands with three drawers each and additional storage port, starboard and under the berth. The master head has double sinks, large shower with bench seat, Tecma toilet and round portlight with screen. Forward of the master to port is the guest stateroom with two single berths and drawers underneath, a hanging locker, night stand with (3) drawers and the head (also accessed from the companionway) is fully equipped with a shower, sink, Tecma toilet and opening portlight. The VIP stateroom is located forward with a Queen-size double berth, full height hanging locker, overhead hatch plus large windows port and starboard, vanity table with seat a fully equipped private head and shower. The companionway includes a stack washer/dryer and (2) linen lockers.

At 164’ (49.99m), SILVER LINING was laid out for lifestyle living and exceeds expectations in every way. Perfectly poised for both private use and charter, she boasts a precision layout combining style with space and comfort. Her external design is the result of the Christensen design team, with an interior by Carol Williamson & Associates, who together have created a relaxed home feel as well as a statement of style.

Everything about SILVER LINING’s interior oozes elegance; opulent materials, intricate stonework separated by silk finishes and black American Walnut, are ingeniously employed throughout. Large windows on her main deck flood her sumptuous interior with natural light, and promise unspoiled views wherever she sails. The stunning skylounge boasts equally impeccable views and amenities, including a large sunken bar with a marble top and multiple seating areas. Her vast master suite can be found taking up a full-beam position on the main deck, and a full-width VIP stateroom, two king staterooms and two double staterooms with lavish en-suite bathrooms in impressive marble. Added to this, her two double staterooms offer an additional single bed and Pullman for added flexibility. With an elevator servicing all four decks, guests can enjoy a multitude of secluded zones and entertainment areas, depending on their mood.

Moving outside, there are several feature spaces. The sprawling sundeck includes a 10-person Jacuzzi and sunpads situated forward. This deck is spectacularly set up for both relaxation and entertainment with a unique three-section layout: aft of the Jacuzzi area is a full bar with seating for nine, TV screen, barbecue and a comfortable seating area for cocktails, while the aft deck is where guests can lie back, relax and soak in the rays. Next down is the bridge deck – the perfect place to enjoy alfresco meals courtesy of its large round dining table with overhead air-conditioning or heating, depending on the weather conditions. Both here, and on the main deck, well-appointed lounging areas allow maximum privacy for relaxing or entertaining as well as easy access to the swim platform and one of her many water toys. The toy list is incredible, and guests can choose from flying on the Lift eFoil board to aquatic fun on the Seabobs, Sea-Doos, and various towable toys and inflatables.

All in all, SILVER LINING is a great lifestyle yacht. The amount of space, the toys, the style – this is a 164’ with 196’ features.
