Stunning six deck superyacht RENAISSANCE was built Freire in Spain and launched in 2023 with the ability to host up to 36 passengers in 19 luxurious suites. At 112m (367’5”) she represents a hybrid between larger passenger vessels and a luxury charter yacht delivering first-class service with extensive amenities.

EXTERIOR There is so much to explore across the six decks on board RENAISSANCE, so let’s start with the foredeck helipad which can welcome guests arriving on commercial helicopters flights. From here steps lead down to a welcoming lounge area furnished with two opposing u-shaped sofas and an arrangement of day beds. The upper foredeck is a private terrace with circular jacuzzi for the exclusive use of guests in the owner’s apartment.
There a four aft deck levels starting with another private owner’s terrace on the upper deck and multiple entertainment areas with include a sushi bar, BBQ and DJ zones plus al fresco dining on five decks. Chic furnishings including lounge sofas, day beds, sun beds are arranged across the decks giving guests plenty of choice – a different deck for every day of the week. There is a huge circular jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads on the upper deck and a 10m x 5m swimming pool on the main deck. A swim platform leads into the fabulous beach club which also has two fold-out terraces and a waters edge dining area. INTERIOR Designed by award-winning British studio Bannenberg and Rowell, the yacht’s interior is a sophisticated collage of neutral colours and rich textures across well-considered deck layouts ideal for a multi-generational charter or work conference – a dedicate business centre can support delegates with office facilities. The main deck dining salon can seat up to 19 guests with outstanding sea views, perfect for dinners or meetings. The adjacent salon is configured with intimate lounge settings and a double height ceiling. Another salon on the upper deck is light and airy with amazing views and a collection of elegant seating areas.
Other stand out features include a 19-seater indoor cinema, fitness centre and beach club with dining setting and bar right on the water’s edge.
RENAISSANCE Specifications
The spa deck is dedicated to fitness and wellbeing, with a gym packed with the latest equipment plus spa and treatment rooms, a hair and beauty salon and hot and cold plunge pools.
Accommodation is across three decks including the owner’s deck.
Yacht Accommodation
The magnificent owner’s deck offers primary charter guests a full suite with forward facing bed looking across the private jacuzzi terrace. There are seating areas on both the port and starboard sides, plus the most incredible his-and hers ensuite bathrooms, both with full bathtubs. A comfortable salon provides a private place for primary guests to relax and has large windows and views on three sides. The other 18 staterooms offer private, luxury accommodation for additional guests and include four convertible and 14 doubles all themed with elegant furnishings and superior ensuite bathroom facilities.

Captain Douglas Meier, who is a former U.S. Coast Guard, tells of a first impression of one of Renaissance's unique new toy. He watched as grandparents stood on the aft deck, grinning from ear to ear at the LCD images of a remote-operated vehicle that was transmitting from beneath the boat.

(Photo by Tracy Datlen) - The Deep Trekker DTG2 is a commercial grade mini ROV that has an HD camera with a 330 degree field of view. Renaissance may be the only charter yacht that has a Deep Trekker DTG2.
The Captain continues, “Drones are neat, and we’ll have one of them too, but they only show you the boat from a new angle,” Meier says. “The ROV can explore coral reefs. It can explore shipwrecks. It can chase schools of fish. This is the same technology that they used to find the Titanic.”
The toy is called a Deep Trekker DTG2 Smart ROV, and Renaissance for now may be the only charter yacht that has one of these water toys. The model’s display communicates not just images, but also heading, depth, water temperature, battery levels and more.

112m Freire Renaissance joins the charter fleet
The brand new 112-metre Freire motor yacht Renaissance has joined the charter fleet with Burgess, marking one of the most expensive yachts on the international charter market.
She was launched in early 2023 by Spanish shipyard Freire and is the largest yacht built in Spain, as well as one of the largest projects designed by esteemed British studio Bannenberg & Rowell , second only to 138-metre Rising Sun .
Renaissance has been tailored to "blur the lines" between expedition vessels and luxury yachts, and has been built to Passenger Yacht Code which allows her to host an impressive 36 guests in 19 cabins spread across three decks. The 7,200GT yacht is also ice-classed to 1D specifications, allowing for high-latitude cruising.
Onboard highlights include a double-height dining saloon and a private owner's deck complete with exclusive access to a forward deck and aft deck. Al fresco dining arrangements can be found across four of her decks, and she also plays host to a main deck swimming pool and beach club with a bar, sea terrace and waterfront dining.
On the lower deck is a spa complex which Burgess has described as a "revelation". Features include a fitness centre and a sizeable gym with an "equipment list that would amaze an elite athlete". Guests can also make use of hot and cold plunges, a steam room and sauna, a treatment room and hair and beauty salon.
As well as a locker of the latest water toys and nautical gadgets, Renaissance also benefits from a commercially certified helipad.
Speaking on the new addition, Caroline Taylor, charter manager at Burgess, said: "We are delighted to be representing this one-of-a-kind superyacht. Burgess has a reputation for excellence and Renaissance truly embodies this ethos. The yacht will be available for charter this summer in the Mediterranean and is ready to secure bookings for 2024 in this location, also, winter 2024/25 will see Renaissance transiting over to the Caribbean."
