We depart from our docks at The BoatDega (adjacent to the Waffle House), located at 11165 Gulf Blvd, Treasure Island, Florida, 33706 Just minutes away from Madeira Beach, St. Pete Beach, and Downtown St Petersburg. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inform their party of the dress code. Admittance to Yacht StarShip is at the discretion of management who reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who arrive in attire not fitting our dress code, regardless of the reservation status. Patrons and guests who arrive and do not meet dress code requirements will not be permitted to cruise and tickets will be moved to store credit that is good for up to one year.

What happens in case of bad weather?

For captained charters, weather cancellations and reschedulings are entirely at the discretion of the Captain or Boat Owner. The Renter can not invoke 'bad weather' and request a refund as reason for cancellation unless the Captain or the Boat Owner agrees to it. For captained charter, the Captain will make the decision if the weather conditions are dangerous to get out on the water. Cloudy skies or a slight chance of rain are not grounds for cancellation or rescheduling. If a cancellation or rescheduling due to bad weather is necessary, either the Renter or the Boat Owner must send an email to  [email protected]  stating the reason. In Florida, we’ve got some truly beautiful sunsets. And the best of those are always seen at the beach. But, imagine a Florida sunset experienced from a boat with the sun reflecting off the ocean and turning the whole world orange and red as you spend the evening with your significant other. When it comes to sunset cruises, nothing is cooler than floating around on a tiki bar boat. Both Florida Tiki Tours (pictured in feature image) and Cruisin’ Tikis Tampa offer sunset tiki boat tour experiences. These tours depart from multiple locations throughout Tampa Bay, including John’s Pass in Madeira Beach, Clearwater and even the Tampa Riverwalk . Tours are BYOB, so bring along your own beverages to sip.

Romantic Sunset Cruises for Dinner

Yacht Starship is one of Tampa Bay’s premier dinner cruise options. Departing from Tampa and Clearwater, each tour is an all-inclusive evening aboard a stylish dining yacht. Besides enjoying a 2.5-hour cruise with romantic sunset views, you’ll also be treated to a 3-course meal, open bar (beer and wine) and plenty of time for dancing. Reservations can be made online. Non-dinner cruise option is available as well.

Another local favorite, StarLite Cruises offers sunset dining cruises departing from St. Pete and Clearwater. On this sunset dinner cruise, your ticket includes admission for the 2.5-3 hour cruise with dinner as an add-on once you board. For dinner, you’ll be able to use the full StarLite dining service that functions just as a normal restaurant would. Dolphin Watching

For the animal lover in your life, ParrotDise Express offers sunset dolphin watching tours (the **chef’s kiss** of romantic sunset cruises) daily aboard their vessel of the same name. If you’re lucky, you’ll be treated to playful dolphins jumping in the boat’s wake! Each tour lasts 2.5 hours and includes complimentary drinks, including beer and wine.

Laid-Back Romantic Sunset Cruises

Serving up fantastic views of Tampa Bay (including the Tampa skyline) alongside fun facts about the city, Tampa Bay Fun Boat ‘s sunset cruise is a must for a unique date. This relaxing tour lasts for about an hour making it the perfect activity to combine with dinner downtown. Another perk? You’re allowed to bring a cooler with adult beverages on board and there’s no corkage fee. We recommend bringing a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne to toast the beautiful sunset. Tickets are just $18/person and reservations can be made online.

On the St. Pete Beach Sunset Cruise , you will have much more privacy and less crowds. These romantic sunset cruises only take a maximum of six people per voyage, so it’s perfect for the intimate affair! Bring your own food and drinks for a romantic picnic on the water. Reservations can be made online. $54 per person.

Craft is a low-profile vessel resembling a European river boat, with less than 11’ of air draft (vertical height) allowing her to pass beneath the several low bridges in Downtown Tampa.

Royal Caribbean announces new short getaways from Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — If you are looking to plan a quick getaway for next year, you are in luck. Royal Caribbean announced the latest lineup of its three- to six-night vacations to the Caribbean and the Bahamas for the 2025-26 season.

The Enchantment of the Seas will be back in Tampa for the entire year in 2025. It will set sail on a mix of four- and five-night getaways to the western Caribbean and the Bahamas.

The ship’s itinerary varies with stops in Belize City, Belize; Cozumel, Costa Maya, Nassau and Roatan, and Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Last year, the cruise line announced that Rhapsody of the Seas and Grandeur of the Seas will call Tampa home for the 2025-26 winter season.

The ships will sail from the Port of Tampa on six to eight-night vacations through 2026.

During winter, the Rhapsody of the Seas ship will take passengers from Tampa to Belize City, Belize; Costa Maya, Cozumel, George Town, and Roatan.

The Grandeur of the Seas will take vacationers on seven-night getaways to the western Caribbean and the Bahamas during the winter. The ship will visit destinations like Belize City, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Perfect Day at CocoCay and Roatan.

Teachers, military, first responders can sail for free on new Margaritaville at Sea cruise out of Tampa

T AMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Teachers, first responders and military members are among those who can sail for free on the new Margaritaville at Sea cruise that will begin sailing out of Tampa in June.

The Heroes Sail Free program now includes the new Islander ship, which will sail from Port Tampa Bay to Key West and Mexico, according to the company’s website. The program remains available on its Paradise ship.

The Heroes Sail Free program is available to military, veterans, first responders, law enforcement, educators, health care workers and others in the GovX membership program.

Cruises are unlimited, but staterooms must be booked online after verifying eligibility, and there must be one paying guest in the same stateroom, according to the website.

The Islander ship features themed bars and lounges, a three-story poolside bar, and a 14-story tropical atrium.
