The Edmonds Yacht Club will excite your wedding day with fun. The beautiful club is located right in the heart of the Puget Sound area. The views from the club and surrounding docks are fun especially for those who love time out on the water. The Edmonds Yacht Club has a large ballroom that may be used for your event. The ballroom features a built-in bar, band area, dance floor and is connected to a patio for outdoor entertaining. The Banquet Room quickly can transform to display the wedding of your dreams with the help of additional décor elements. Flowers, candles, and other colorful items will bring the room to life as you dine and dance into the evening. The room may also be adapted to host your wedding ceremony. The Edmonds Yacht Club will have you and your guests happily celebrating as you dine by the Sound in style.

The rental fee ranges from $1,600 to $2,950 for a ceremony and reception and includes 12 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. A refundable security deposit of $250 is required.

Edmonds Yacht Club Wedding

This lovely rainy day wedding in the heart of Puget Sound at the Edmonds Yacht Club wedding club was such a joy to capture!

With Hispanic and Hawaiian influences, this waterfront wedding inside the banquet hall of the Yacht Club was so welcoming and friendly.

While it was too rainy and cloudy to see the Olympic Mountains to the west, there were so many charming touches and DIY elements sprinkled throughout the wedding ceremony and reception site that being snuggled indoors felt perfectly planned.

The reception featured an ice cream truck that pulled up to the pier area (kids and wedding photographers alike were thrilled AF over this detail, haha), where guests could line up to get old school ice cream goodies.

With Hawaiian food and Mexican pastries for dessert, this was such a lovely mixture of the bride and grooms family cultures and heritage. I absolutely LOVE when couples incorporate family details like this into their wedding day!

It was such a pleasure and an honor to capture this wedding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership is not required to rent our venue. However, EYC members do received a discount . . . as do non-profit organizations, active-duty military members, police officers and firefighters.

Yes, our renters provide their beverages, including alcoholic beverages. However,  home-brewed/homemade beverages are strictly prohibited.   All beverages must be commercially prepared, in original containers, labeled, and sealed. There is no corkage fee, and a variety of glassware is provided.

The Edmonds Yacht Club does not have a required in-house caterer which means renters can bring in food from any outside source or prepare their food in our fully equipped commercial kitchen. The dinnerware and silverware are provided at no additional cost.

The Port of Edmonds does not permit food trucks of any kind. However, renters are permitted to barbeque or bring in another type of food cart that fits on our patio.

The Edmonds Yacht Club can host events up to 220 seated guests, reception style.

Yes, the entire facility is ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible with handicap parking nearby.

The beautiful waterfront patio is included in the Rental Fee for the facility. Standing bistro tables are provided for patio gatherings.

Renters can arrive as early as 8am and stay until 12:30am. At that point, everyone and everything must be removed from the premises.

Our rate structure is quite simple. The renter pays a Rental Fee, a Cleaning Fee, and a fully refundable Damage Deposit. There is no tax, gratuity, service fee or corkage fee.

Yes, candles with the flame enclosed in glass are permitted.

A standard AV package is included providing a stereo, amplifier, two handheld wireless microphones, two standard corded microphones and ceiling mounted speakers. An audio outlet is available in the banquet hall and can connect via an auxiliary cord to any electronic device with an audio jack. Bluetooth streaming and Wi-Fi is also included. A data projector and 8-foot screen are available for a $150 Rental Fee.

Edmonds Waterfront Wedding // Cassandra + Peter

You can’t find a more gorgeous place to get married than an Edmonds Waterfront wedding! Sitting steps away from the Puget Sound it is a magical venue. The Edmonds Waterfront Center was the perfect setting for Cassandra & Peter. Although the weather was a bit rainy we still loved capturing their beautiful day. The bride looked beautiful in her white gown from Brides for a Cause . Brides for a Cause is more than a bridal store – it’s a bridal store that raises funds for charity! Their mission is to collect and resell donated wedding dresses to raise funds for women’s causes!

The couple chose this venue for it’s epic views through large glass windows. They had their first look in front of the beautiful water. Cassandra tapped Peter on the shoulder and when he turned his smile was perfect. The couple has been together for over 10 years and this wedding was an honor for us to be a part of. In front of a beautiful alter of flowers by Flora d’ Amore the couple read handwritten vows through tears. Peter said it best – “As long as we’re together everything will be perfect.” After the couple said “I do” we went outside to take photos by the water. With large bubbles floating by we took some amazing images for them.

Once back inside the party started with the DJ from Sounds Unlimited getting everyone dancing. There was plenty of dancing and amazing food by Shooby Doo Catering . As a result everyone had a great time and ate well! They also had a beautiful cake served on a cut tree round which was delicious! The Edmonds Waterfront Center truly was a great setting for this event! Not only did Sound Originals provide photography for the wedding but we also did video. We love when we are asked to do this. It is a great way to capture the full day for the couple. It’s a great way for couples to share a few minutes from the entire day!

The Edmonds waterfront is a great area. Home to the areas creative district there is plenty to do. With plenty of destination restaurants and shopping people find something for everyone. Visit Edmonds has a great website showcasing this special area. There is a calendar of events which shows all of the upcoming fun. On the Third Thursday of every month there is an Art Walk. This happens year round. In August they host the Taste of Edmonds which is the third largest festival in the state of Washington and among the “Top 100 North American Festivals”. As a result many people come to experience this.

The Edmonds Waterfront Center is a great place for events. With ample space you can hold many types of events here. Located directly on the water in Edmonds makes it a great location. They have event packages available starting at $1500. They have banquet rooms with great views. You can also have a ceremony outside. The location is great and overlooking the beach. They also have complete food and beverage service. Shoobydoo Catering has delicious catering options available for your event. There is a great downtown area within walking distance. This make this event center a perfect location. The Edmonds Waterfront Event center is directly on the Puget Sound. There is even a ferry dock right outside. It is the Edmonds-Kingston ferry which takes guests to the Olympic Peninsula.

There are many options when choosing a wedding venue. Many couples tell us that they have a budget to work with. Sometimes this budget not very large. Other times it is about the capacity that a venue can hold. Edmonds Community Center is an affordable venue for your wedding. It is also in a great location on the beautiful Puget Sound. They have rooms that can accommodate group sizes from 10 – 300 people based on the type of event. Their food service partner is Shooby Doo Catering. The booking for the event spaces is first come, first served. Groups larger than 50 using any second-floor meeting space must purchase food through Shooby Doo Catering. The venue rental of all Edmonds Waterfront Center rooms include use of tables and chairs. As a result the venue has great amenities for your events.
